Located in the Rijksmuseum, Rijks serves creative Dutch cuisine. Its modern interior is comfortable and wonderful for enjoying a meal. Rijks features an open kitchen where Executive Chef Joris Bijdendijk with help from his team prepares an array of flavorful dishes using organic, as well as locally sourced ingredients. Travelers and locals can begin their dining experience with a ceviche salad or beef tartare with oyster cream. An entrée of gravlax trout with roasted leeks, poached monkfish with kale-eel sauce or Simmental dry-aged rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce and fries. Rijks has a bar area that offers beer, cocktails and a wide selection of wine. It also provides seating out on the terrace for guests to enjoy the weather and converse while dining.
