It was a relaxed ambience. The server was very attentive and was the perfect amount. The Linguine Fra Diavolo Con Capesante e Gamberi was not overwhelmingly spicy, the sauce yummy and the scallops tender. My friends and I had a wonderful time and left nothing on our plates.

Nice dinner before Springsteen concert. Portions are large and food is delicious. Chicken Parmesan is incredibly tender, scallops fra diavalo is fresh and spicy. Better atmosphere than Limincello, not as white and sterile. My only complaint is there appears to be no system for handling the reservations. Perhaps hire a hostess ?

Took 30 minutes past reservation time to be seated. Appetizers came immediately but main courses took 90 minutes to then get mains and they were cold when they came out even as people around us who came later got their food and attention much quicker.

Reservations don’t mean a ton here on the weekends. Just expect to get a seat within 30 min of your original reservation time. Food was great and service was quick for being so busy. They let in a random music man to play at people’s table that didn’t ask for it. Odd. Other than that. It was a good restaurant and did their best for such a busy night.

The venue is cozy and the food is fresh. The service is prompt and friendly. The menu is a little pricy for what it is. The seafood looked very good, the pasta with vegetables was alright, but a little watery.

Traditional Italian restaurant with very good flavors. Portions are good sized, make sure to rhythms to get a primo entree if you want pasta to go with your main meat. Great service, very attentive

This restaurant has nothing to do with italian food Starting with gross misspelling on the menu to bastardized italian classics like pasta e fagioli which were so bland we did not eat them Who has the idea of mixing cheese sauce with preserved artichokes Service was efficient Room felt more like a mess hall than a restaurant

Overall a good experience. Food was good but not "Awesome" as described on Open Table. Limited dessert menu - no cannoli, no cappuccino. Server, who may have been the owner was welcoming and attentive. Entree pricing was reasonable. I would try them again before writing them off completely.

I love this restaurant, and the food and service never disappoint us. We come here often before a Celtics game, Bruins game, or concert at TD Garden. A short walk to TD Garden and makes for a great start to your day.

Very friendly and responsive staff. Calamari was ⭐️🔥 and my dining patrons loved their pasta dishes. My side penne w/bolognese was very tasty as well. My veal entree was well prepared but the quality of the meat was not as I’d prefer (it was a bit chewy/gristly). Espresso martini was also ⭐️🔥. All in all very good experience.

We had an excellent dinner here! We made a reservation for 5:15 because we were going to a Bruins game at 7:00. The place was empty when we arrived but Tommy was excellent, gave great recommendations on food & wine. Pasta was incredible, the wine was also excellent and reasonably priced. But definitely the service from Tommy was outstanding. We will be back the next time we go to a Bruins game!!!

We had a group of ten and chose Ricardo’s because they took reservations. The team took great care of us, even making special pasta only plates for the four kids in our party. The oil and spices for bread were phenomenal. The mozzarella appetizer is a must have. Everyone was happy with their meal. Would definitely return.

We came to Riccardo’s to celebrate our friends visiting. They’re visiting us from another country and this is their first time in Boston so we wanted to show them a wonderful meal in the North End. I’m disappointed because the food was great but the service was awful. I tried to be patient because it seemed they were understaffed but our food took over an hour to come to the table. The people with a reservation AFTER ours (we were both parties of 4) were sat before us and had finished their food and left before we received ours(this is not an exaggeration.) The waiter failed to check on us… ever. He dropped off our drinks individually and then walked away before seeing if we needed anything and he left our table so fast we didn’t have time to ask for anything. We were in the restaurant for an hour and forty-five minutes and our drinks were never refilled. The only saving grace for our experience at Riccardo’s was that the food was delicious. I would try Riccardo’s again, I just hope the service would be better.

Food was delicious. We sat on the second floor. We had an amazing waitress. Every staff member was very nice. We went with a party of 8. Only thing we didn’t love is the restaurant has the tables pretty close together and it’s very loud.
