   Service on Saturday was very poor, waiting 45 minutes for a drink to be served. The food took longer. Most of our meals (3 out of 5, one being a salad) were overcooked and parts were inedible. The singer on the night was not the greatest and was far too loud, we found ourselves having to shout across the table to hear each other - and none of us having hearing impairments! Sadly 2 of the 5 of us said they would not return.

   Live singer was a nice idea but the room aquoustics made it impossible to have a conversation at our table. We waited about 20-25 mins for our drinks. Steak was overcooked but barrable, unfortunately though, it was full of fat and I couldn't chew it so sent it back. The other food was acceptable. Nobody returned to check our food was ok. Even when we sent the steak back, nobody came to the table to speak to us! We had to go and ask for the bill as we couldn't attract anyone's attention. All around it was a poor experience. We have been coming here since it opened, sadly we will not be returning.

   Love the atmosphere, would have been nice to know at time of booking that a love act would be performing, wasn’t even on their social media page. Table felt a bit cramped between 2 others. Initial service was really good, but then seemed to take a long time for the mains to be served and the bread plate we order to start was left on the table (even though finished) for the whole meal and even after all the mains played had been cleared.

   Booked table in advance, to be seated at a table that hadn’t been cleared. Cocktail glass removed but ashtray and sticky wet table still remained. Cleaned the table ourselves whilst the waitress watched. First round of drinks ordered, which had to be chased after the starters arrived. Asked 4 times for the fire pit to be lit. Mains arrived after some wait. Second round of drinks ordered, arrived and table wasn’t emptied, plates, glasses and bottles remained. So we spent the next hour sat at a cluttered table to then be told that last orders where being taken. Would have liked dessert but we were left until last order notification ☹️

   Beautiful view. All good apart from the fact that the singer on the Saturday evening was too loud. We asked to more tables, which we did so that was better but it still made talking difficult. Good vegan and gluten free options.

   The service was very efficient and the staff friendly and helpful. We chose the tomahawk steak sharing platter which was the most expensive item on the menu at£60. The steak was 36oz which we thought would be adequate for three people. The meat was outstanding in flavour and tenderness but the other items on the platter were only adequate for two people. Please can the menu be amended to make it clear that this is a platter for two. We had to ask for extras!

   Love the location and venue as stylish but sadly the staff and manager need to work harder - it’s always the same 40 mins wait to be asked for a drinks order just sat at our table which we previously booked. Would have had cocktails but in the end settled for a cuppa to protest! Food very slow and average but we knew this. Manager a bit sarcastic if I’m honest but usually a lovely lady greets you and is very good. Customer service needs a lot of improvement. Will pop in for Coffee when not in a rush as it’s local but hope many things improve - which it can do if they act on feedback.

    Food just ok ,nothing special ,floor was covered in dogs hairs not very hygiene, some staff ok ,but most very young and didn't have a clue ,bar staff hopless, had to go to bar and change drinks three times ,music was very good two talented young men ,the atmosphere was nice when the music was playing would I go there again ,may be if cleared up a lot and food menu better

    Ambience and views of the setting sun perfect. Food over cooked and probably in dated oil in deep fat driers. Chips like cardboard and overcooked steak dumped on top of the skinny salad. Warm salad!! Delivery to a table of five with a 5 minute delay for a child’s microwaved pizza. Might visit the terrace in the future for drinks and the views, but for food very unlikely. Just not to a good enough standard.

    We purposely booked to see and listen to Marvin . We reserved a table for 5 , on line. We arrived on time, greeted by the very busy restaurant manager. Who showed us to our table ( the furthest away from Narvin). Yes we asked fir a closer table, we told all fully booked. On saying that a closer table was empty, later occupied by people only drinking, who did not stay very long.

    We have been coming to Revo regularly since it opened last summer, but had not been for several months. We were pleased to find that you could now book a table and this was a plus. On arriving at the restaurant last Thursday (14/04/22), we were surprised to find it so empty, with only about 20% of the tables occupied. We now suspect that this is because the local clientele has stopped coming due to the poor service. Although we were seated quickly and our initial drinks order taken shortly after, this is where it went downhill. Our food order (rump steak for me and seafood pizza for my wife) were slow to arrive, despite it being quiet and nobody came here us to check if things were OK or take another drinks order. When the food eventually arrived my meal was warm but not hot and my wife's pizza cold. We had to return this, especially due to the seafood toppings. I had finished my meal by the time my wife's second pizza arrived and all this time I had sat without a drink due to lack of attention by the staff (who were busy leaning on the bar). The second Pizza was the opposite of the first in that it was so hot, that it had started to congeal. We suspect it had been microwaved. We paid up and left, having failed to find a manger to complain to. In short, we will not be returning, even for our regular drinks. My advice is to avoid, unless you have a lot of patience and time to kill.

    Man who showed us to our table was great, friendly and obliging. Food took a while to come out but not really a problem. Food was good, coleslaw a bit tasteless. Pizzas were good. Pork chop was huge, bigger than expected but we will know for next time. We were surprised it wasn’t busier for the half term holidays. But we will definitely come again.

    Service at table very slow to order ..had to hail someone to take a drink order and to bring us menus..my partners waffle was over cooked and hard as was my chicken burger .. Nice view and setting but better places to visit in the future ..

    We were served fairly quickly as we were seated but after that we were left to our own devices despite the restaurant being quiet and there being a surplus of staff. We tried to get the attention of waiting staff a few times before having to go to the bar to request service. Our children were starting to get very fidgety and it was getting late so we wanted to give them some dessert, finally got the dessert menus but no one came back to take our order or collect our used dishes again despite trying to catch the attention of waiting staff so we decided to cut our losses , pay the bill at the bar and get a McFlurry on the way home. The food was fine and the venue was very nice so the service really let the experience down. I am hoping this was a one off so will be returning. Currently I would be very cautious to recommend to a friend until I have returned to see if my experience improves.

    We were recommended this place but unfortunately we were not happy with our experience. There was a bit of wait on being seated and once we were sat we could see this happening consistently with the queues getting bigger. Our waitress (cannot give a name as she never introduced herself) had a definite attitude problem and was very abrupt not only towards us but to others and staff members from what we could see and also seemed to love to slam menus down, after she took our order she never came to see us again. There were no check backs to make sure our food was ok, and did not get asked if we wanted anymore sauces or drinks. The food itself was OK, nothing spectacular and the lobster ended up being very dry and the calamari was pretty tasteless too, I think maybe the best part of the meal was the chips. The bill came to around £80 which I think was too much for the food, drinks and experience we had. I would not recommend to anyone else and I could see we were not the only unhappy customers that day, as we saw several people who sat down around the same time as us walk out.

    I’ve been here a few times now and despite being open for a while, they still seem to struggle with service which is so disappointing as the location is great. We’d booked a table for 5pm, arrived to find a massive queue and no-one dealing with the queue. Eventually someone comes and the queue starts to go down. We’re shown to our table and told someone will be over to take our order soon. Soon turned out to be quite a while later. Ordered drinks and food at the same time, assumed drinks would come before the food but 25 mins later no sign of drinks. My husband queried this and it seems our order had been forgotten. Drinks then arrived minus my friends coffee. Queried with a waiter who said he’d go and get it. 10 mins later still no coffee. Had to go and ask again. Eventually it came. Food arrived well over an hour after our table booking start time (despite being told we could only have the table for 2 hours in total). Food order was incomplete (missing one of my husband’s sides) We had to go and speak to someone again and was assured it was on its way. Food was nice and of a good standard, but nothing special for the price. My husband finished his meal and still the side hadn’t arrived, it came 5 mins later. Nobody ever came over to see if we wanted any more drinks at any point during the time we were seated. It wasn’t clear who our waiter / waitress actually was as there were lots of them working but nobody seemed to have overall responsibility for us. It’s such as shame as I keep trying this restaurant and am disappointed by the service each time. They need a better system in place as clearly the one they have in place at the moment doesn’t work. They did remove the coffee and side order from the bill when we asked without issue; I expect this is something they have to do regularly!

    Overall it was a nice evening, we just had to wait a while for our drinks with every order. They'd come check on us and we'd just remind them that we were still waiting for drinks. They were friendly etc but I do expect a better a slicker service for a Thursday evening that wasn't very busy.

    The food was awful, Luke warm/cold and small portions. It look a long time to be served/plates get taken away/ and for the bill. It was so loud we were shouting at cheat other on a table of 3 people. And it isn't cheap good. The fish was burned and the chips were cold. It took 3 hours to have a 2 course meal!!

    Enjoyed it a lot but we were a bit bothered by persistent barking of a dog on an adjacent table. I think there's a "Three barks and you're out" policy at the venue, but it didn't appear to be enforced during our visit.

    Amazing setting…gorgeous food as usual and fantastic service to top it off great entertainment which made the night a fantastic pianist… Can’t fault the service 5 stars.. Looking forward to visiting next time.

    Could be a fab place. The owners obviously don't know how badly run a Saturday night is. Waited 1hr 15 mins between starter & main. Food then arrived wrong. No apology. Then manager appeared and we explained re issues he offered us a free drink. We waited 20 mins and guess what... no drinks appeared. The waiters apron was filthy, ordered lots grey goose vodka and came in filthy glasses with no ice or a slice. The 2 floor supervisors did nothing in managing the staff or being attentive to paying customers. A place can be the best location but sadly customers won't return unless owners get a grip with issues. We spent over £130 table of 4 and I wished we hadn't. We won't return.

    You'd have to go far to find a better beach restaurant in the region. Eaten here many times and it's a favourite, though they did let standards slip this evening by serving a halloumi burger with cheese burned to a cinder. We pointed this out and, while they were quick to bring replacement halloumi, they could at least have given us a fresh burger and removed the cinder-cheese (they didn't). Burger rolls tasted less fresh/premium than usual, and nachos were in bits and pieces, like they'd been shaken out from the bottom of the packet/box. Gin cocktails also rendered completely tasteless because of the huge, ice-filled glasses. For the price, not up to standard. However, service and location is always excellent. Hopefully it's a blip, as they were hugely busy. Looking forward to next time: fingers crossed.

    Thought we would try this new venue in Weston, few good places popping up now and hoped this would be another. The idea is very good however the first thing that struck was how BIG it was inside and despite having quite a few customers they were spread far and wide amongst unusual furniture. The lighting and general feel was great and it was lovely to be able to have a conversation and not have to shout over music/noise etc. this was worthy of 5 stars alone. Service was pretty good nothing outrageous one way or the other. Food was good, nice choice on menu but quite simple food with little in the way of veg sides to bolster the main. Nice choice of GF food which was good for me as a coeliac. Value was pretty good but always find desserts in these places seem quite expensive for what they are and Revo followed this theme. Also 3 people in the group ordered Sticky Toffee pudding with ice cream however the pudding was colder than the ice cream - not sure if this was an oversight or how they serve it but slightly strange all the same. My main piece of feedback was about the interior - they have loads of space in there and it needs ‘zoning’ or partitioning off to make it more cosy and intimate. Another oddity was that last orders were called at 9.15pm and chairs were being put on tables which felt a bit uncomfortable. A nice addition to Weston but certainly some scope to improve.
