Luxury Restaurant Ungelt is located in the charming courtyard called Tyn – one of Prague’s best preserved Renaissance treasures, dated back to early Middle Ages – just few steps from the Old Town Square and the famous Astronomical clock.

Main restaurant space is located in the medieval hall with beautiful bar and open kitchen. There is a private lounge with a round table available for small groups. This round table is basically an ancient well with glass desk on the top. There is also an outside seating area for those ones who would like to watch a tourist buzz during a day or feel unique Prague atmosphere on summer evenings.

So glad we picked this restaurant! Crayfish soup and Caesar salad for starters - delicious! And the salad came with chicken and was big enough for an entree. Beautiful glass of Chablis and a very tasty Aperol spritz. Entrees were a perfectly baked sea bass and beef medallions. Both very good! And a coffee rum Creme brûlée for dessert. Outside dining was most pleasant! A great meal with impeccable service.

Great restaurant! Very good value for money given the quality of the meals and the products used. I definitely recommend a stop if you come to Prague and have something to celebrate (or not!).

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACHTUNG ABZOCKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Für diese Preisklasse war es mehr als ungenügend. Der Service war unaufmerksam und nicht ausreichend Ausgebildet. Die Flasche Wein wurde serviert, aber einschenken musste ich selbst übernehmen. Der Gruß aus der Küche war nicht essbar. Ein 5 Gänge Menü hat circa 90€ gekostet dafür war es eine Frechheit. Das lächerlichste war das zum Schluss noch ein Trinkgeld von über 20 Euro erhoben wurde ( dass habe ich natürlich nicht bezahlt) Dieses Restaurant werde ich nie wieder besuchen und ich empfehle jedem dieses Lokal nicht zu besuchen. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACHTUNG ABZOCKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my second visit to Ungelt and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable and the attention to detail was perfect. Everyone was extremely pleased with their meals. Those who had the ribeye stated it was perfect but the highlight was those who have the sea bass encrusted in salt. The table side deboning was a great touch and no bones to speak of when eating.

Exzellente Küche, überragende auch einheimische Weine, tolles Ambiente in historischer Umgebung. Service schnell, charmant und sehr professionell ohne gestelzt zu wirken. Geschäftsführer Thomás kompetent, freundlich und ein richtiger Gastgeber. Wir sind so begeistert, daß wir sicher beim nächsten Pragbesuch wiederkkmmen werden. Preis-Leistung angemessen. Achtung, Rechnung ohne Servicecharge daher bitte Trinkgeld nicht vergessen!

We have not received cafe even if we ordered, nobody has refill our glasses with water the restaurant was not fully occupied, the information about content of the meal was all the time broken Generally the service was worse then the kitchen

The food was really good and tasty except the service and the waiters they were really bad because we had to wait two hours for one meal. There was also one girl that she was running up and down the stairs with nothing in her hands thinking that she is a guest in the restaurant. We came at 8:30 and we left at 00:30 we spend over five hours there. You can also imagine how the service was very bad. Then our next dish was ice cream. The manager had our ice cream, and he didn’t know what to do with it and and so he gave it to the one of the waiters. Then the waiter didn’t know what to do with the ice cream, so he went up and down stairs running didn’t know what to do with the ice cream and didn’t know who to serve it to. My whole family says probably now the ice cream has bacteria’s. When me and my family Left the restaurant we burst out of laughter and we started saying that we’re never ever coming back again.

The food was outstanding, as was the presentation of all dishes. Very good wine list. Our servers Vladimir and Domenica were attentive and personable. An incredible find in a quiet corner of Prague. Highly recommended for a special occasion. Excellent fine dining experience!
