The restaurant’s daily blackboard specials and core recipes feature creative takes on fresh-caught fish not typically found on many inland-Florida seafood restaurant menus, including tile fish, trigger fish, sheepshead, hogfish and other local species. Our second time and it was as great as the first. We were pleasantly surprised to see a brunch menu as well as a lunch menu on Sunday. So many great options. We chose the shrimp and corn soup to start and it was so good. Then the grouper reuben sandwich. Huge piece of fish with all the Reuben fixings. Such a great experience but we were really impressed with the service. Not just our server, Roni, but how well everyone worked as a team.

The worst fish taco I have ever had. The fish was overcooked and tasteless. The corn tortillas were not edible. I love that this restaurant is featuring Florida fish but I will not return. So noisy we had to shout to be heard. On a positive note the waitress was very nice.

We’ve eaten at Reel Fish several times and usually split the Fish Camp special. The food was ok but the noise level high and the hush puppies were a bit undercooked. The service was a bit slow as well and we had to sit on the bar area with high back chairs. All in all in was an average experience.

One of the best Happy Hour values in Central Florida! Oysters are spectacular; we had the half dozen baked for $9. Luis, our favorite server, went above and beyond, as always. The Ceviche and Firecracker shrimp were incredible. Great food with generous servings and very friendly wait staff. Always a pleasure!!!

Went there last minute on Sunday enjoyed brunch. Ronnie the waiter is one of the best there! Always makes it fun and is quick to respond. Beer had too much foam on it and he proceeded to bring the fair amount in another glass to make a nice full glass…above and beyond this is why we come here!

Got a fish of the day… red snapper. Worst I ever tasted. Definitely not fresh…mealy in the mouth. Worst fish ever. Our waitress was amazing. Great atmosphere. Just stay safe and order what they are known for.

It took and hour and 45 minutes to get our food, which was salty. And there wasn’t really anybody in the restaurant. When they dropped our plates, they forgot my dinner and my table was halfway done before they brought mine. Our server was bare minimum.

The food and service was not up to normal for this restaurant. There was no cod for fish and chips. The potato was not cooked and the French fries were cold. It seems that the restaurant was short on food preparation and waiters. Seems like this impacted our experience. I know they can do better.

I had the best blackened red fish this side of the Mississippi yesterday on Mother’s Day . How I have missed K Paul and standing in line for his signature item, “Blackened Red Fish”. Texture, taste and the presentation was complimented with homemade collar greens , cole slaw, and fried okra like down home Louisiana . They were busy , but never showed in their attention to duty. Thanks to Fred , the owner and CC OUR WAITRESS FOR Excellence in showing us great culinary skills backed up by good mouth, watering food.

I took my mom here for brunch for Mother’s Day and it was excellent! The atmosphere was great, our server was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! A manager checked on us to make sure everything was up to par as well. Highly recommend!

Great Mother's Day brunch experience for my wife, mother-in-law and daughter. The menu was Reel Fish's regular Sunday brunch which held a good variety of seafood and breakfast favorites. The lunch menu was also available for ordering. We experienced Mike's Fish Chowder, Chicken & Waffles, French Toast, Shrimp Frittata and Shrimp & Grits (plus chicken fingers w/fries and a sundae for an 8-year-old) - all quite excellent! We usually do a big Mother's Day buffet at a local hotel; however, the cost is exorbitant unless you are all huge eaters and drinkers. I found the portions and value at Reel Fish to be worth the visit.

The food was delicious! I enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Some of the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the sweet potato hash with crab and said it was divine. My son got the Connecticut lobster roll and is now a lobster fan. The server was authentic and attentive.

Menu selections are wonderful and many. Restaurant very nice and clean. They have an Oyster Bar…yum! The bar is very nice and separate from most of the other dining. They have outdoor tables with umbrellas. Staff very friendly, and managers check on their guests to be sure their experience is going smooth and well. My husband and I will be back often. Oh, and the music is very, very pleasant and fun.

We waited 15 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. And another 15 minutes before our server greeted us or took any kind of order. Our drinks arrived and the ice had melted. We rarely saw our server to give her any feedback. 30 minutes after we ordered entrees a manager let us know they were out of grits for shrimp and grits. An hour and a half after our reservation time we still had no food. We asked for the check. The manager comped our drinks but we will not be back. Very disappointing experience on a place we used to look forward to visiting.
