Had a very good dinner there this past weekend. Service was a little slow but the food was spot on (the manicotti and Mafaldine). Salads were very good as well.
First time at this restaurant; loved it! Meatballs were the best I have ever had! Staff was attentive, worked together; Phil our server made our experience that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be back
We have been here a few times and it is always good. Saturday was a very slow night, as there were not many patrons. Our server was very good and we recall havin her a few months back. Very friendly but she checked in so many times, which we think was due to the lack of people she was waiting on while we were there. At time it’s good to have an attentive server, but we felt it was way too much the other night. Food overall is very good, but meatballs were not good this visit and seemed to be missing something. Would still come back and recommend to others!
Great, authentic Italian classics in an area void of non-chain Italian food. You’ll never go wrong here for great pastas, chicken and veal dishes. Chin-don!
Always a great experience going to Ralph's.The food and service was excellent and can not wait to go back.
Solid Italian food, great service, good value
Delicious Italian dinner right from South Philly in King of Prussia. The meatballs are a must have they are the best my husband and I ever had. The penne with Shrimp and the spaghetti with crab meat both were very delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a delicious Italian dinner.
Food was ok- my chicken was tough which is unusual for chicken. We felt service was rushed & they were very slow so we don’t know why.
I decided to surprise my wife with a random dinner date at Ralph’s without the kids and reserved at this location. The host took us directly to our table and the waiter came right over. Anthony was our server and was very patient with my wife’s pick of wine. The food was fantastic and beautifully cooked. The meatballs were incredible, my chicken picante was delicious and my wife enjoyed the salmon linguine with crab meat. Great dining experience to get away from all the loud city noise and enjoy a delicious meal!
Although everything was pretty good it all tasted the same.
Avoid at all costs.
Food was horrendous..
Caesar salad dressing tasted like water.
Veal in Milanese was tough and dry.
Bread was good! That’s all.
I had read the reviews from Open Table and Yelp, but wanted to give this KofP offshoot a try.
Do not follow in my footsteps.
Poor choice. Very poor and very sad.
We absolutely loved everything about our experience. This was our fourth visit. Great food. Great people.
Great food and service! Ralphs is always top notch.
Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice King Of Prussia watering hole. It would be even better if they were to incorporate some more of Ralph's South Philadelphia favorites back onto their menu here .
Extraordinarily disappointed in our second visit and most likely our last. The first time we were there the food was above average this time the food was well, well below average. The salad was not fresh, poorly presented and thankfully we asked for the dressing on the side. The egg plant Parmesan was overcooked, the chicken Parmesan was barely warm, the Sicilian chicken was horrible as it must’ve been a short order cook in the back who doesn’t know how to prepare food. Swimming in balsamic, no white wine with it and whatever happened to the Longhots? The spaghettiWas so over done and had minimal gravy on it. We knew the bread would be horrible which was the case last time but we were shocked that overall this is what Ralph has become. Certainly not the real Ralph’s of south Philly. No one should be subjected to a meal like this given its cost. That said the waiter was quite good and attentive.
All I have to say is awesome . I love this place and coming from an Italian man you should take this review as Gospel!!!! Lol seriously! Not Kidding !! Don’t waste you taste buds on any other Italian restaurant
Excellent food and service. We had the mussels and the crab and spaghetti both in red sauce. Mussels melted in your mouth and lots of crab, portions are not huge so you will have room to do an appetizer. We did the bruschetta. A little pricey but worth it.
Hard to locate the restaurant, should be advertised as inside the hotel. Passed the location twice before I found it. Still didn't think I was in the proper location when I pulled into the hotel lot. After there, the experience was wonderful. Food served quick and very Hot. Shrimp scampi was wonderful with lots of garlic. Not for the faint of heart garlic person. I loved it. No salad with pasta dishes, bummer. Must be ordered extra. Service was excellent and waiter was a cutie! Would love to visit again.
While only “bar seating” is available at lunch this is a misnomer. The table was in the bar area but it was a full sized table with comfy chairs. Also while they have a nice but limited lunch menu they were more than happy to let me order my favorites from the dinner menus. Can’t wait to go back.
I enjoy the restaurant and dine there 4 times a year. The food is usually very good; the service this time was fabulous (the waiter was very personable, sensitive to our timing issue, etc.
My only complaint is the wine list; it's limited and too expensive (3x markup over retail is too high).
Went for lunch using a Groupon. Service very good and very friendly. Food very good. Plan on returning very soon. Kudos to staff and chef
They were out of many options, my pasta was dry, they were even out of clean dishes. We were in a back corner and I felt like we were not even in a restaurant but banquet hall. I was very disappointed.
Been to this location many times and had enjoyable experiences. This time was different. I don’t understand how at 7:00 on Father’s Day the kitchen can run out of strawberries (wasn’t the higher demand anticipated?) and no attempt was made to get more although there are a number of supermarkets nearby. Also I find it surprising that a 20% tip is automatically added to parties of 6 or more (we were 6) vs. 8 or more. It definitely affected the attentiveness of our server who appeared to be lackadaisical, knowing that she was going to get 20% regardless.
Per menu both of our selections came with a
choice of pasta or vegetable. We both ordered
the vegetable but were informed by our waitress
the restaurant was out of vegetables.Hard to believe a restaurant could be out of vegetables at 6:30.
We were put in a back room(we had reservations) and our server was working hard but had way too many tables so the service suffered
Not the best effort tonight. Service was slow. My Ralph's chicken parm was just warm, my wife's eggplant parm was overcooked. Other apps, entrees and dessert were fine. For what we pay here I expect more.
The air conditioning was not working. It was hot and humid. Not the best atmosphere to eat heavy Italian food. The waiter, while nice, disappeared during the end of the meal. Disappointed and was ready to leave.
Our server Michael Lancelotti was fantastic - friendly and professional service.
great attention to detail, great food, great service at the table and especially at the bar (ask for John and Donna) and great value.
The man at the host stand made no eye contact with me. Hostess sat 2 of us at a table with one chair. We stood at the table while she gathered flatware and dishes. Eventually, after the table was set, a waitress brought over a second chair.
Food was mediocre. Not fresh, not flavorful, not special. Cocktails were quite good.
Table service was good. Constant contact between 2 servers ensuring we were taken care of.
Execellent food, drinks and services. Recomend to everyone
While the service was good the food was fair at best.
Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice Italian restaurant. We even wish that they would bring in some of the additional specialties which are deliciously found from their Ninth Street location !
Excellent food and service; overall very satisfied. Noise level a bit too much to have an easy conversation.
Everything was good from the food to the service, but it did get loud towards the end of our dinner service. Overall my family and i was happy and satisfied
As good as 9th and Christian location w/o the parking hassle. Food, Service, location and ambiance all terrific -- They go out of their way to make it a wonderful experience. My wife and I enjoy eating here at least 3-5 times per month.
Great performance on a challenging Mother’s Day crowd. Busy wait staff did a good job on being attentive. Food here never disappoints. Loved the signature cocktail.
my first trip to Ralph’s, everything was great. My trip on mother’s day was an awful experience. The iced tea tasted like bleach, when we told the server she shrugged her shoulders. The food was really less than desirable. The meatballs had a funny taste, the food was cold, some food took 10 mins after everyone else’s to come out. While we were waiting on our dinner the bussers were cleaning up / breaking down tables around us and stacking chairs, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. What an awful mother’s day dinner.
Amazing restaurant! The chicken parm is to die for!
