The oysters were the star of the evening. Truly one of the best we have ever had and we have had a lot of oysters over he years. Other dishes were well above average. The duck was a little dry and over cooked, but the sauce on it was excellent. Good selection of wines by the glass. We will definitely go back for the oysters!

Came in for a birthday dinner before La Traviata, at the Lyric. The kitchen was wonderful, drinks were creative and well made, our complex food sensitivities were graciously accommodated: we had a lovely experience.

There is no appropriate way to say too noisy and I reset that I need to answer every question. The food was unusual, each dish tasted differently from the other and all were delicious!!.The noodle dish was especially good and th octopus really interestin. We asked for bread but it wasn't offered and there weren't side dishes like rice. We attend the opera and this is he closest good food. BUT that said, we told our waiter when we needed to leave and there were a few snafus that made us need to hustle to get there on time. Although we had three of one dish, the order didn't seem to go through and two of us needed to wait a bit for their food. We asked if we had time for coffee and dessert, waiter said yes but then brought everything later than he said he would. He was sweet, caring, but something was missing.
Liked wine in small carafes.

Food was excellent. Seated quickly on a business Sunday brunch day (on St Patrick’s Day, no less). Small but well-curated menu. Flavors were amazing. Nailed the textures. Loved the unique combinations of cultural references.

I came with a friend I hadn't seen in years, to catch up and have great food. Everything was great except for where we were seated, in the bar for brunch. It was cold. I should have asked to sit in the dining area. I wasn't pleased with the seating :( It was cold and impersonal at the table tops/high-tops.

The food is just phenomenal and the staff is even better. Mikhail is phenomenal as our server and really led us on the right path for the evening. We were so happy to see Jess and Mallory again who had previously made the night my fiancee and l got engaged that much more memorable; they did again this evening. It was just a wonderful evening, with amazing people and really delicious and a creative menu.

Excellent choice for pescatarians. Two-thirds of the menu is vegetables and seafood. The service is friendly and attentive, and our waiter didn't rush us at all as we negotiated which dishes we would share. We enjoyed all of them.

Love the shared food experience. Cock/mocktails are amazing. Counter dining was such a treat as Andrew and staff educate you on menu and you are treated to your own fireside spot.

Proxi remains an absolute favorite. From grabbing a bite on my own at the bar to a large brunch or dinner with friends, the service is outstanding (the team really know the menu), the food is always delicious, fresh and able to cater to every taste - as a vegan I feel well taken care of. The cocktails are beautifully crafted too. My only small point of improvement would be to turn the music down a touch, sometimes it competes with conversation and connection.

Proxi has a fabulous brunch. I took my sister here over the past weekend and it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend their corn bread eggs benny, the zucchini app, and the fresh squeezed OJ. Pass on the apple cider donut; it reminded me of the Texas state fair. Overall, great food, beautiful ambiance, and kind servers.

Delicious bites without all of the pretentious hooha. We sat up at the chef's table, which could have been more fun if we could have actually SEEN the kitchen. The wall is too high to really see anything but we were impressed that the owner/chef was actually there expediting of a Friday night. We LOVED the smoked squash. Doesn't sound too exciting but, believe me, OUT OF THIS WORLD! The fritters, the yellowtail, the short rib, the mussels....all fabulous. Then, right when we think it can't get better, the blackberry ice cream comes out and I almost faint from happiness!
