Awesome menu, everything was delicious and full of flavor. Service is ON POINT! Paper menus and touchless payment (for Covid!)
We had a great time at Provision. Food was amazing and service was exceptional. Staff took extra precautions to make sure they maintained social distance and avoid any possibility of cross contamination. Will definitely be back.
This is a must visit restaurant. Creative menu and the friendly staff make this a very special place.
This is an awesome little new restaurant. The food is outstanding.
We dined here on their second day of reopening and were impressed with the measures they have taken to keep their staff and guests safe. The food was fantastic, one of the best burgers in Austin and the fries are craveable. Great job Provision!
We went to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We ordered the “Off The Grill” family dinner for 4 of us. It was enough food for us to each get stuffed silly. The fish was cooked perfectly. The pork dish was fork tender. The rib-eye was cooked as requested and perfectly. My sister & Dad thoroughly enjoyed themselves and started making plans to come back with other family members as soon as possible.
Presley was great! Food was great!
The feel of the restaurant is nice, bright and well decorated. Service is friendly.
We had deviled eggs and the Provision Greens salad. Both were very good.
The cinnamon rolls were excellent, and the short rib Benedict disappeared before I could get a bite so I’m thinking it was pretty good too. Our waiter really knew his stuff and was enjoyable to work with. We WILL be back!!
Service was great! Brunch item selection was not huge though. Still good.
Outstanding food! Bold flavors! Very nicely done. God service. Good space.
There were 4 in my party. We ordered deviled eggs, brussel sprouts, farrow bowl, short rib ragout, shrimp and grits, and crab mac and cheese and mussels. I thought the food was interesting and tasty, but costly for the proportions. Ex. Deviled eggs were 3 halfs only, and pricey, but tasty. I wouldnt order again though because the taste wasnt worth the cost. My farrow bowl was good, but greatly improved when I added the brussels...which, by the way, were outstanding, the star of the meal. They accidentally took our mussel appetiser to another table, so it took a hot minute, but they graciously comped that, which was nice.
Overall, we had a good experience, but for the price, nothing that was so yummy we would go back there before trying something else.
Server couldn’t split our check and it became a thing. Room for improvement.
Excellent service. Great food. Nice place for a date.
This was our first time at Provisions. The food was fabulous! The ambiance was casual but sophisticated and welcoming!
Unfortunately our particular server was not good. He was inattentive and not at all friendly. We were there to celebrate a birthday and to welcome our newlywed son and daughter-in-law home from their honeymoon. Neither were acknowledged.
The greeter was excellent and the other servers appeared to do a great job.
Loved this place! It’s brand new, and their chef is amazing. The decor is lovely and our server was incredibly helpful. Would definitely recommend this place. It is a little pricey, but I would say that it is worth it.
An excellent value. Food was wonderful. Service was awesome. Cocktail list was guite good too.
Really can't give an accurate rating as we came in with a dinner reservation at 7:15 that down around 7:25 no one came to our table we waited 25 minutes and left so the food and service could be good but we didn't get to experience anything other than not being served at all
I am terribly sorry, he simple truth is we were understaffed for a busy night and that is unacceptable. There is no excuse for us not getting to your table in a timely fashion and as the owner I take full responsibility and apologize We are better than that and if you would be willing to give us another chance I would love to show you what the experience we typically provide looks like. Please reach out to me directly at Agonzalez@provisionaustin so that we can make this up to you
Food was hit or miss. They were out of multiple items. Brussels sprouts were over salted. Roast chicken delicious, but a small portion. Tenderloin was just ok.
Had the blue crab mac & cheese, the Provision burger, and crispy Brussels sprouts. All were excellent--very tasty, although the crispy Brussels sprouts were a bit too salty (but still delicious).
Valentines Day dinner. Overall pretty good experience. I had the ribeye and burnished potatoes. Potatoes were amazing and my rare steak was very hard to chew and packed full of tough fat. Wife had the chicken sandwich, not that great. Full of fatty pieces that made the sandwich hard to eat and that added no taste benefit.
Service was the best part of the experience. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and very friendly. Her and the actual restaurant were very nice.
Service was great and the food was delicious!
From the moment you walk in the hostess was very friendly. She greeted us with a friendly smile and located our reservation. She then walked us back to our table where we were greeted by our friendly and energetic server. She told us the specials and what dishes she liked on the menu. She was spot on! The food was terrific and the entire menu was moderately priced. We will certainly be back with friends & family!
Perfect for a date night! Nice ambience and reasonable prices. We will definitely go back!
Food is great, especially that double chocolate cake with raspberry syrup dessert. Environment is fancy/humble. The tiki tula drink cup was super cool. Servers were on point. Would recommend!
Rare lunch date to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I made a reservation worried about a celebration crowd, but there were a few empty tables at noon. Service with Lauren was fantastic: cheerful, shared her favorite dishes, made recommendations, and made sure to check in with us throughout our meal. We opted to share a salad, steamed mussels, and the short rib quesadillas. We probably would have been fine without ordering the quesadillas, but they were delicious.
Music too loud. It was hard to hold a conversation with 6 of us in the party.
Really fun vibe, great food, top service. Vegetarian in our party was delighted with the farro bowl. Meat lover raved about the burger. Awesome experience!
Not impressed. They were out of jam on a brunch day.
Although there was nothing really wrong with our experience at this restaurant, it was just very underwhelming. The service was probably the best thing about it. It is very noisy, and although it is nice inside, it is just missing something, not sure what it is, but the restaurant was full of people and very noisy, but it just felt very lonely. Not a comforting, cozy, relaxing feel at all. The food was fair at best, seriously. The chicken sliders were awful, 100% skin and no meat on any of the sliders. Really gross. My roasted chicken was okay, but definitely nothing I would tell anyone about or go back for. My husband had the petite tender and he said that was very good. Overall, disappointed and will not be making the trip back.
Food was excellent. Impressed the the attention to detail. Will go back. Only complaint, once the entrees arrived our water glasses were not refilled unless requested sometimes twice. Other than that it was a stellar experience.
A C+ overall. We had lunch. Atmosphere is an A for sure but the food is nothing special (say a C) and service is spotty (a C).
Absolutely fantastic experience. Watched the Super Bowl there and was blown away. Would recommend for dinner or to watch any sporting event.
Food is interesting, well executed and a wide variety. I will be back to try more, soon.
The food was really good, service was good. It was very noisy though. It is nice to have a place in the neighborhood.
Service was slow. Took 15 min to get 2 drinks from the bar. Food was just ok. My burger did not come with everything the menu listed. Asked for the items and it took 10 min. Waiter kept saying backed up kitchen but there was probably 30 people in the entire restaurant. Asked for check, waiter came back 5 min later to table next to us. They asked for their check, he immediately cashed them out and then came back and said, “would you like your check?”. This place has potential but they have to fix their service.
We found this restaurant through Eater and booked through open door. When we arrive we were surprised to hear that they had only been open three months. Everything was so very polished! Our waiter recommended the Lunaria “Pet-Nat” which was funky and just right for us. There food was approachable, composed, and most importantly delicious. Five Stars!!!
My husband and I love Provision and have become frequent flyers. The ambience is perfect for any occasion, from watching the football game to date night or guys/girls night out. The food is fantastic - full of flavor and texture. My favorites are the roasted chicken, farro bowl and the juiciest burger ever. We tried out the new brunch menu and fell even more in love. Ask for the homemade hot sauce if you like a little kick and don’t skip trying the Maple Old Fashioned. For Dry January, I gave the “no proof” drinks a whirl and love the Ginja Ninja and Lavendar Bees Knees which we’re both delicious. You just can’t go wrong!
