Homemade Pastas are fantastic. Each dish is prepared when ordered. So fresh. Everyone in our group loved their dish. We had the gnocchi, spaghetti bolognese, hamburger aioli and the ricotta appetizer. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been there 4 times and every time the service ruins the experience. I kept giving them a shot because I want local restaurants to do well but the hostess simply has no clue about managing seatings and always manages to make us wait too long for a table when the restaurant is half empty. I point out the available tables but according to her they are reserved but they always remain empty even after we leave. This last time we were celebrating 3 birthdays and they sat us in two separate tables despite having 10 tables empty and available the entire time we were there. The restaurant is small and the tables were right next to where we were sitting. She ruins our experience every time. The restaurant is also quite cold and has very little ambiance. The breadsticks are too greasy and loaded with garlic, the pasta was good the first two visits but some of the dishes are getting spicy. Will not go back. It’s too bad, I love supporting local establishments.

Nice atmosphere with exceptionally friendly and attentive service. Food is very good. I've tried a few different appetizers, entrees and desserts, and have enjoyed everything I've had. Others in my party have all felt the same way. Entrée recipes have a little different twist to them in most cases. Food prices are about right but the wines seem to be a little pricey. Would like to see a few more moderately priced options. My wife and I have become regular diners here, and we've brought guests and recommended it often. Always a pleasurable dining experience.

We had heard the bartender is one of the best in the area - and the drinks did not disappoint. The meals were outstanding and prices are very good. Salmon and locally sourced steak were delicious!

This remains a neighborhood gem, and judging by the reasonably full dining room on Sunday it has been discovered by many others. My fourth visit and it is clear that the kitchen and the front of the house have hit their stride. Great appetizers, perfectly cooked fresh pastas, a nice wine list, some crazy good dessert donuts, and great service from the moment we walked in the door.

While Davanti and Luccas tend to get the press and the crowds, Posto 31 is the clear winner in the Western Suburbs.

Can’t wait to go back

Amazing homemade Italian food with a hip vibe. Bill behind the bar is a mad scientist, the menu is classic with a modern edge. I highly recommend the arnichini for an appetizer and the gnocchi is a game changer!!!

The food is excellent. The noise level is high as it is one big room with high ceilings. The wait staff if very attentive. Not somewhere you would go for a romantic evening. Very family friendly. With that being said I would highly recommend Posto 31.

We thought the food was good, but not great. While the restaurant is big on their pastas , that are all made in house allegedly, the gnocchi and ravioli were mediocre. We requested a super this crust but got a medium thick crust, probably premade and frozen.

The restaurant, itself, is very appealing as far as decor, though the waiting area is awkward. Fortunately, we had a reservation and didn't have to wait long. We could have done without the dry breadsticks (no oil, no butter), but the salad and our entrees were delicious. The service was not good at all...we had to flag down a bus-person to find our waitress so we could order a second drink, which came long after we began our entrees. (Not to mention being nearly served someone else's desserts as we were eating our salads). I'd give Posto 31 another go because the food was really good, and hope that the service "glitches" were just anomalies.

This was our second trip there. The Winter Salad is the best salad I’ve ever eaten. The wine was wonderful. Our entrees, salmon and a chicken dish, both had far too much lemon juice. This is too bad, because it certainly detracted from an excellent dining experience.

Hello, Food was great.
This was our second time there and both times we felt that our server was rushing us to order - we ordered drinks and appetizers and wanted to enjoy those without rushing to dinner.
While the menu is fantastic, I would encourage Posto 31 to expand their menu - there has to be enough variety to return frequently.
Other than that, we love Posto 31!

Our server really encouraged us to order fresh made pasta. While my gnocchis were good, the chunks of short ribs tasted like they came from a can. My friends agreed. The orecchiette was overly lemon forward. The ravioli was good, nothing special. A big disappointment. The breadsticks were good though. Probably won’t be back.

We had a great ladies dinner. Our waitress was a little over bearing & now looking back I think she was rushing us. Food was outstanding! Each dish better than the next! We ordered 3 different pastas & shared between the four of us. We did not get offered any dessert I think because they were looking for us to leave, since they closed at 8p but we did not realize that. We would def go back for the food!!

Second visit to Posto 31. The grilled Caesar salad and buttternut squash soup were outstanding. So was the delightful mushroom risotto. In all honesty, the rigatoni was too spicy. The pasta was cooked el dente but it had way too much Chile flakes. Very good restaurant but dining room is loud. Nice front desk staff. Will definitely return.

The apps are outstanding! I could make a meal out of them. We all had a pasta dish, nothing compares to their homemade pasta! Can't think of another restaurant in the area that makes their own. Service was phenomenal, from the bus boys to the server! The wine was excellent and the French 75 cocktail was very refreshing. Can't wait to go back!
