Philly is getting noticed @posthastephilly is one of the many reasons why. A minimal waste spot with Pay-What-You-Can Sundays, like need I say more? . Maybe, because it also involves oysters and cocktails. . Check them out in East Kensington! . 📍Post Haste | East Kensington

#hosted I’ve been an Ari Miller fan for a while and my friend Mackie has been a fan for even longer. So when he took over as the Executive Chef at Post Haste, I was stoked. I’ve definitely heard mixed things, but if you haven’t been for Ari’s new menu, I highly encourage you to give Post Haste another shot. This spot has an incredible cocktail program and a kitchen which focuses on hyper local ingredients for everything from their mixers and juices for drinks to their breads and salts and everything in between. We started with the Deviled Eggs, which Camille loved so much; the Duvet Dog, which is happy hour only and was definitely close to perfect; the Squash Blossoms which were stuffed with mozzarella and reminded me of Mozzarella Sticks; and the Scallops in a Strawberry Gazpacho sauce… WOW. Everything was so fresh, so well seasoned, and just really well executed. Our favorite appetizer bite by far was the Heirloom Tomato Toast, which is just perfect for summer. Ari really shines with his pasta dishes, and we picked the Ricotta Gnocchi and the Duck Bolognese, both of which we absolutely melted over. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were insane. I saw multiple tables inside Post Haste have pasta on their table, so I think it’s safe to say that we weren’t the only ones gushing over these dishes. The Duck was excellently cooked and I could not get over how delicious this was. The Steak Frites had an amazing crust and was so well seasoned - this was Mackie’s favorite bite and definitely a top for me. This is a great spot to grab some cocktails with your girls and split some plates. Definitely check out Post Haste & be sure to tell ‘em PFAB sent ya! 📍2519 Frankford Avenue Philadelphia PA 19125📍 Thank you so much for having us @arimillerx @posthastephilly @bolstermedianyc !!!

Yous know that there is not much I love more than weekend brunch, and when I heard Post Haste had a good one, I had to go. This cocktail bar has a small but mighty menu with some familiar yet creative creations. Of course, what is brunch without some drinks!? We started out with the There Would be Bloody (Bloody Mary) and the Life’s a Peach (Peach Bellini), both of which were very boozy - yea please. The Milk Bread French Toast was a massive portion, topped with fresh blueberries and whipped cream - this is perfect for sharing, unless you don’t want to! The South Philly Benedict is a super fun twist on a brunch classic, and the eggs were so perfectly cooked on this! The Post Porchetta Sammy was seriously tasty, and came with an obscene amount of fries - can’t beat that!! I also had to try the house made bacon, and it was actually amazing. This was my first visit to Post Haste but it totally will not be the last!!! When you check out Post Haste for brunch, grab a round of delicious cocktails & be sure to tell ‘em PFAB sent ya!! 📍2519 Frankford Avenue Philadelphia PA 19125📍 Thanks so much @posthastephilly for having us!
