    The food was outstanding. Matt was also a great server. Love the ability to try so many amazing dishes. A must do when in St. John.

    Wonderful cozy feel to the room & welcomed by friendly and attentive staff. Cocktails, appys and mains were all superb! Dynamic flavours abounds! Dessert & wine was delightful end to the eve that we wished could go on. Must visit again!

    Excellent service by Paris and the other staff. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and Paris and colleagues ensured that our dining experience was an enjoyable one. The food/menu at Portage is imaginative with an excellent twist on some familiar foods. We shared several dishes and all were delicious and served piping hot. The scallops on toast and the chicken dish were superb. The various vegetable dishes were more than side dishes because each one was a generous portion and very tasty. We highly recommend Portage to anyone looking for a pleasant evening out with outstanding food and service.
