Poppy+Rose's Rooftop Patio is currently closed; all groups will be seated in our indoor dining room located at 765 Wall Street.

Poppy+Rose welcomes walk-ins 7 days a week. For groups up to 8, reservations can be made Mon-Thurs via Open Table. We do not take reservations on Friday or Saturday for groups under 9.

For groups of 9+ we offer large party pricing and reservations 7 days a week for our dining room only. While a reservation for a large group is not necessary, the pricing for large parties will still apply to all walk-in parties of 9+. For large party reservations and buyout pricing please email gm@poppyandrose.com.

I was excite to finally get reservations for Poppy+Rose. Unfortunately, I was not pleased. Their reservations were limited, but their restaurant was no where near packed to even need them. I ordered the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict, they meal was served with a salad vs. breakfast food, and worse of all the biscuit was hard as if it was sitting for a while, which led me to only eat the chicken. When I informed my server at the time of her clearing off the table, she informed management which a $2 discount was given (thanks for that, since I didn't request one). Also, I was not pleased to hear the rooftop was not a seating option.

Brittnie. Thank you for your feedback, we are always grateful for the opportunity to improve. Reservations on Sunday's are only taken during the first hour of service, it is not mandatory, however we do offer them during that time for those guests that want to guarantee a seat without a wait; otherwise we welcome our guests in on a first come first served walk-in basis. We are also sad that our rooftop is not open, however our indoor dining room is always open for our guests. Thank you again for providing us your feedback while you were dining and also here, we are looking forward to welcoming you back to the restaurant soon.

Loved going there early to beat the crowd! Parking is easy, and safe in the maple parking structure and only for $5 with validation from the restaurant. Our server Ariah was great! And the chicken is fantastic!!

This is hands down a gem in disguise. The overall ambiance and service was a great addition to the excellent food quality. From being a business I knew nothing about; now being a business I am happy to support and refer it to friends and family. I will definitely be a reoccurring customer for many years.

The website showed an outdoor patio so I was disappointed that we were seated in the crowded, noisy inside dining room. The tables are a long, communal style and I was not comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food itself was just okay, I had the chicken and waffles and neither were crispy and the syrup was cold. They had gotten such good reviews that I was let down. We went on Father’s Day and they were super busy so maybe that had something to do with it.

Great service and food came pretty fast eventhough it was coming from the other restaurant site. My fried chicken Benedict was delicious. I usually don't like poached eggs, but it was good. The area is a little sketchy, so pay attention to where you are walking. Parking was free on Sunday and the rooftop restaurant was in the same lot. I would definitely recommend this place.

This was my first visit. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were okay 6/10 and the rosé mojito. The mojito was delicious 10/10. The service was bad. The server wasn’t focused or attentive. I’m pretty sure he forgot to put our drink order in. We got our food first, and I was halfway through my meal before I received my cocktail. He didn’t come back to check on drinks or the general “how’s everything tasting”. The restaurant wasn’t busy so I’m not sure what happened. The music selection is nice but overall I would say this place is over hyped.

MAKE RESERVATIONS. Staff is beyond friendly and attentive. The food was really good, we got fried chicken benedict and a market salad. THE DRINKS, oh the lavender drinks are so dang good. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Despite it being a tough day for staff with rooftop closed due to rain, the service was fantastic and the food really good. Will definitely be back to try additional menu items. The bread on the patty melt and biscuit on the Benedict were special. Don’t miss the house hot sauce.

The rooftop view is great. When we showed up the hostess said that they were understaffed and the waitress wasn't ignoring us but it was just going to take a while. This was great to hear up front so we knew what to expect. The problem is that the kitchen is on the bottom floor and the dining area is on the rooftop so by the time you get your food it's not hot. If you like eggs, french toast or chicken that is not hot this is the place to go. No need to blow on the food to cool it down. Chill environment. Chill food. I understand that due to the pandemic places needed to figure out other options and they figured out a good one. Just wish they had a way to keep the food hot before it gets to you.

Service was extremely terrible. We waited around at our table for more than 30 minutes waiting for our server. We reached out to the hostess about our waiter and she seemed to shrug it off and say “oh he’s probably in the bathroom.” No one bothered to help or offer to take our order and so we were just sitting around waiting for someone to help us. Another table had also asked about their waiter and they weren’t served either. The restaurant strictly enforces and let’s it be known that there is a 90 minute window for your reservation but I would say we were waiting for at least 40-45 minutes before being asked to take our order and after trying to flag down multiple people for a waiter. The food was mediocre but the service was terrible.

Food is delicious, pulled pork hash is what I ordered and it’s so tasty. I sampled the rest of my family’s plates and everything tasted amazing. The berry mojito was so refreshing. Belly happy!

I have been wanting to come here for months but it just didn’t live up to its hype. The food was fantastic which we give. The location just was sub par and the bathrooms were just beyond scary and so non hygienic. I just can’t bring myself to come back. I sure hope they get a brick and mortar location as we would love to experience it in an inside setting with functioning bathrooms.

I don’t like leaving reviews that are below par, but i was told about Poppy and Rose and was excited to eat breakfast here. For me its a trek across town from Culver City, so believe me, I was hopeful. Even though the initial arrival experience was a bit unusual (having parked then walk to restaurant, wait while the nervous maitre d checking in customers, then told our seating with on the roof , and its best drive there, so back to the car then around the corner to the rooftop location). Once on the rooftop, we were seated, but let me get to the food. I love chicken and waffles (white meat), and they don’t serve white meat chicken breast, only thighs and wings. Well you’ve kinda lost me there, but I ordered the waffles with two chicken wings. It looked ok, but on first bite, it lacked something, hmmmm what is it, oh, flavor. The chicken was just ok, and the waffles, they came with Smuckers syrup in a plastic container, this is NOT good syrup, its the really cheap syrup loaded with sugar. I also ordered shrimp and grits, and to my joy, the grits were amazing, its the shrimp I can give away, as they were a bit tough, and flavorless. All and all, I could not recommend this restaurant because it needs a bit of help to be a restaurant for someone that loves food like me.

Service was AMAZING!! Food was just ok. The drinks were nothing to write home about. The mimosa was not good, either too much OJ or just really low quality champagne. The bloody Mary tasted too much like straight up tomato juice. Again, either not very much vodka or just super low quality. We were sooo disappointed that the Fried Chicken Mary wasn’t available, especially since it’s all over yelp :( probably won’t be returning

The staff, the waiter, the food & the service was exceptional! We went for my daughter's 19th birthday! She picked it out & it was a great choice. Pulled pork and the chicken & waffles were everythiiiing!! We also had a tequila sunrise & some cute pink mojito drink, sooooo good!! We will definitely be back! & it heats up well the next day too!! So recommend!!

The website is false advertising. This restaurant is right next to Skid Row and had homeless sitting outside the door. We did not feel safe bringing our young children here. About 10 min before our reservation I also got a call that we couldn’t sit outside do to technical difficulties, yet when we finally found the parking garage (which is just as scary as it’s surroundings), there were people being seated on the patio. Do not go there!!!

I arrived for my reservation on Saturday, and was rudely greeted by some girl in booty shorts. The reservation was for the patio and didn't get a email about it until the morning of course I wasn't checking my email at this time in the morning. So naturally I didn't know, when I asked she snapped back, "it's closed'. I kept a smile because I wasn't going to let her ruin my fun. When we were seated, my friends and I were struggling to hear each other (we just had pre-gamed) my friend made a comment about the noise level resembling schizophrenia 🤣we all burst out into laughter short story short, we left and went to blue jam cafe but was forced to walk through the ugliest/dangerous neighborhood. I was lucky there were many people with me, especially because we were drunk and couldn't drive so we had to walk..we were shaking in our boots and still shocked at where we found ourselves. DO NOT GO HERE!! This is not a safe brunch place, and definitely not drunk people friendly. Luckily our heads were on correctly and we made it safely to our new location.

This was my second time visiting Poppy and Rose after visiting the flower mart across the street. I made a reservation for 10:30am and we arrived about 30 minutes early. I was not aware that my rooftop reservation was somewhere else. The hostess was nice enough to seat us in the restaurant. Also I think it is completely ridiculous that a canceled reservation is $35. William was our waiter and he was ok until our food came out. Our food came out so fast it was almost unreal how fast the food came out. I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich. I was unaware that there was some sort of sauce that was on the chicken breast on the sandwhich. I tried about 3 times to get Williams attention to simply ask if I could just get a plan chicken breast instead of the only that had this sauce on it. He explained that he could give me 2 pieces of chicken instead but insisted that the chicken for the sandwich has sauce on it. It sounded very unreasonable to me because I do believe my first time I ordered this I was asked if I wanted it with or with out sauce and I asked for the sauce on the side. Needless to say I was very unsatisfied with my meal and he comped it but it was still very unsatisfactory that he tried to tell me the chicken couldn’t be served without sauce.

I don’t remember our server’s name but she had dark black hair up in a bun; she was awesome, super helpful and polite! The chicken and waffles were delightful and my friend loved her breakfast burrito. Food was really fairly priced for the amount you get. I would definitely come back

The food was really good my husband got the chicken and waffles and I got the smoked beef sandwich yuuum! The service was great as well. I would definitely recommend going there, but do make a reservation, we went on a Friday around lunch time and it was packed.
