Service was good but gluten free options are lacking, which is misleading because they have a GF menu. Why bother with a GF menu if you’re going to just have people order items from the regular menu without the bread or croutons? Also, consistency of the veggie burger was not good. Taste was ok, but texture was mush. Husband’s regular burger was good.

Very happy to have Poe's open a location in Savannah! This is a great, open, large place that I hope will do well. Service was good, food was very good and it has a fun friendly atmosphere. We have been twice and had great meals all around.

Great space, first visit we sat at the bar for lunch. Anthony our bartender was fantastic! Very engaging and we sat for an hour chatting with him. Food was excellent. Second visit was for dinner with friends, again great service in the dining room area. Highly recommend the burgers…amazing.

Great if you’re in the mood for burgers and fries; best to go somewhere else if not. The burgers and sides (tried the fries and onion straws) are great. Noise level is pretty high; required shouting to talk to others at the table. We were on the patio, but in interior seats seemed to be a similar noise level.

After a fresh craft beer at the riverfront our 2 block walk brought us thru the gorgeous Marriott lobby to a patio seat at Poe's. Delicious fried flounder for moi and chicken quesadilla for Janet. And the onion sticks were great! (Oh yeah - and my 2nd craft beer was an unfiltered IPA)

We were greeted nicely by host. Seated and then had an abrupt waitress- appearing to be quite young and clearly just going through the motions. Borderline rude. No conversation - really impacted our enjoyment. Never smiled or elaborated on any parts of the menu. We watched as another waiter was excellent in his approach to customers. Wished he had been ours.. amazing how a waiter can set the tone for enjoyment or lack there of!

Burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly to order. The bacon blue cheese Cole slaw was AMAZING!! Got a little food envy when we saw the nachos the table next to us ordered. We will definitely be going back for the nachos.

The food was amazing. The service was good. I would recommend putting the tampons sitting in between the sink in a more discrete box as opposed to sitting out in between the sinks. It’s not very good decor.

Fun atmosphere! Shoestring fries and onion rings terrific! Drinks were great, too! Sandwiches we had were good. Overall, good place for a quick bite and super close to the riverfront so nice for waking around afterwards!

Great burgers! We're locals and when we want burgers, we go to Poe's. Just wish they would carry Catawba White Zombie to pair it with. I have noticed that this is the only place in town where I can eat a burger and not get post nasal drip. I think it's because they are use higher quality ingredients! Food and service are consistent. We always enjoy dining there!

Had a reservation and showed up 15 minutes early. Was told they were running behind even though there were three tables empty. We waited up front and the tables were never filled. That sat us about 15 minutes late. Our server seemed like she did not want to be there. Long waits for her to come check on us. It took forever for us to even get our check. What I can say is that it was the BEST burger I have had in a long time. It was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. I would be willing to give them another shot because I know everyone can have a bad day.

The food was good. The ambience is bar like but pretty bare bones. There was an event in the main area and quite noisy but we ate in a smaller room and that was quiet and we were able to talk in normal tones.

We were there for a couples dinner. We'd been here before and had some issues but The Poe made it right so we came back. I had a burger which was done close to the correct temperature. OK, the definition of medium can be different between people so this was done to my satisfaction. Staff was good and atmosphere was good.

The service was great. Food was ok. I made a reservation for my daughter’s birthday and we were seated on the patio. It was cold they had no heaters. It’s not very comfortable to sit with your coat on and trying to enjoy your meal. I expected more from Poe’s Tavern. Was a bit disappointed in the menu and atmosphere.

Our first time here, was expecting a bit more upscale, but saw it was basically a sport's bar with an associated menu.
