Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with large umbrellas and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

pistache is a great and authentic version of a lively French Bistro. All the dishes one eould expect to find are on the menu plus seasonal specilitis. It has an excellent celectiom of wines and very good service and hospitality. good for lunch, brunch and dinner
Another FABU dinner for two
We shared Escargot followed by great Arugula Salad with crumbled blue and each their fantastic French ( Better than Paris) Onion Soup
The server did a wonderful job. The main course was delicious.
We were disappointed in the $15 app.salad that my wife & I wanted to share, in that the portion was very small. I actually questioned the server about whether they thought we only wanted a half of salad.
Great restaurant though. We will definitely be back
Great ambience. Excellent food. Good service
It was a last minute date night idea and it's high season. That beating said, we had a wonderful experience and the food was outstanding. Romantic setting as well. Perfect for a date night.
Gave us terrible small table in corner although there were many larger tables open. Hostess would not reseat us. Not enough room for salad and dinner. Steak not done as requested and chicken paillard tough. Has been our go to restaurant for years but I more.
Very nice authentic bistro. High quality ingredients, excellent cooking. We had the Coq au Vin and Flatiron Steak entrees which were perfectly prepared, flavorful. Frites were good but not great. Wine list was varied and appropriately priced. Service was excellent. Slight noise from music played next door but otherwise atmosphere was great. We'll be back
The ambiance was lovely when we first arrived for a lunch scheduled for 11:30. As the hour commenced, the number of diners increased as did ,understandably, the level of noise. This was no fault of the restaurant but rather that attributable to the lack of manners on the part of some diners. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch with impeccable service. The only negatives were that first, we were disappointed because we had hoped for omelette entrees, which were told were only available at Sunday brunch and second, I had hoped the restaurant would provide a little complimentary cupcake or some such sweet for my friend when I asked, as she was my guest for her birthday. It would have been good PR to accommodated my request. Too bad.
We sat outside and it wasn’t very crowded so the noise level was ok. I ordered a small plate crab salad. It was ok in size and tasty but the amount of crab was negligible. Would not order again. My friend’s tuna entree was well received but given the price, it could have been larger.
Delicious foie gras torchon to start. Mussels also very good but needed a bit more salt in the broth. Efficient service, and well priced menu; attractive bistro decor.
We travelled here to dine with our friends who are from France. We had some authentic dishes and our friends enjoyed them. The service was excellent from our waitress. However, the restaurant is extremely loud and there was a very loud movie playing in the courtyard outside.
We enjoyed dinner. Hadn’t been there in awhile and glad we returned.
Icy cold drinks, excellent food, good and friendly service, valet parking, What more do you want?
Very nice place and the food was okay. The raclette was the special of the evening, I commend the chef for his resolve to execute this dish but the cheese was cold by the time it got to the table. The place is too small to do table side service which would certainly solve that issue.I was trained as a chef at two restaurants in Philadelphia, Le Bec Fin and then The Fountian at the Four Seasons and I tell you your menus warm the heart of the people who love classic French food.I will certainly return to try more items. The squash blossoms were very tasty and I loved the mussels,my wife and daughter had the special.
We, my wife and I, went for the featured item of the day - raclette. It is a type of Swiss cheese that melts readily and is served from a pan used for melting, on top of potatoes or other vegetables. Two versions were offered and we tried both. One was a Swiss Raclette in which the raclette cheese was served on the potatoes along with charcuterie ( prosciutto, salami and a type of bologna) as well as cornichons, small onions and a small salad of mixed greens. The other was called Mediterranean Raclette where again the Raclette was melted on potatoes but was accompanied by various vegetables like broccoli and a salad.
The Swiss would typically serve a fondant wine with this but it wasn’t on the wine list. We chose a very nice rosé from Provence which went perfectly with the Raclette. Our dessert was a clafoutis made with almond flour topped with a type of almond praline and creme fraiche. Cognac was an excellent accompaniment to the dessert.
Everything was delicious, freshly prepared and authentic and reminded us of Switzerland. Service from a very bright and capable Albanian waitress was impeccable.
The meal was not inexpensive but we considered it a good value given the first rate experience.
The steak, ordered medium rare came out medium to well done. Had to reorder and they got it right the second time.
But for the high prices, why does there have to be a second time? Mussels were excellent, fries were cold and not tasty. Last year had a mediocre meal and were were charged to 2 bottles of wine instead of one. Took days to get them to take it off my credit card. Will not go back.
Great food, perfect service and a superb wine list.
Outstanding restaurant. Food was terrific, wine as well. Our server Eva was excellent.
Great restaurant. Just like a little slice of Paris in West Palm. Delicious food, attentive service at a very good price.
Excellent brunch. Great menu choices. Our waitress was very good, but not outstanding -- just a bit slow. The my friends had eggs benedict, short rib hash and quiche. All looked great and they all said they enjoyed them very much. I had an omelette that was OK. I don't think it has anything to do with their quality, though. I think they might put flour in the omelette to make it fluffy, and I just don't prefer that. Next time, I'll have the short rib hash -- it looked AWESOME!
Delicious food served promptly, important because we were heading to the theater. Fined on the patio as requested. Will return.
We made a reservation for dinner but noticed that they had a happy hour. We enjoyed several of the small dishes. The mussels, the roasted cauliflower and broccolini, the escargot and the lobster beignets were all delicious. We have been here before but are already planning to return.
Just a beautiful place, the food is beyond outstanding.
Food selections were very good, it was difficult to decide. I had the sea bass and it was outstanding. Wine selection equally good. Looking forward to dining here again
They were out of 3 items at 7:30
New years lunch
New Years Day Brunch was fabulous and the service is impeccable.
Delicious New Years’ brunch, which was tasty and well served. Only annoyance were the noisy motorcycles zooming nearby!
We went for New Years Eve which is never the best time to try out a place. There was a fixed menu (either regular or vegetarian). One of our party is allergic to fish so we asked if we could “mix and match” between the 2 menus and we were told “no”. There were no changes or substitutions permitted. We had to pick either menu. As it was we worked things out and 2 of us took one menu and 2 took the other. The food was pretty good. My only comments are that a risotto on the veg menu was over salted and the dessert was a way too large piece of a chocolate tiramisu cake. I wouldn’t hesitate to try this place on a regular nite. Also their wine list had some reasonably priced options.
1st Visit, loved the food and setting. Looking forward to visiting again. Worth the drive from Stuart!
We love coming to Pistache during the Christmas holidays. We like to sit outside to enjoy our meal and watch and hear the light show and music in the park. Pure entertainment! Our server, Alek was great and very patient with our questions about his roots in Macedonia.
My wife and I had seen the review on Check Please South Florida and we had to go to Pistache. We were seated right away and a waitress came over quickly. There wine list is extensive and we had a glass of wine each. Service was excellent and we did not feel like we were rushed. Our meals were also excellent. We shared a Crepe Suzette and it was outstanding. The ambience made me feel like I was in Paris. We will definitely return soon.
Great place. Great food. Filet was one of the best I’ve had in south Florida. Coq-a-vin was gorgeous. Service was solid. I think maybe about as close to a European dining experience as you’ll find around PB/WPB.
Definitely on my list of regular places to stop into now.
This was our first time at Pistache and it is definitely a new favorite. We wanted a restaurant close to Clematis by Night that would be enjoyable for our young children and grandparents from up North. The service was over attentive, food was fabulous, and location perfect. A wonderful night!
Took my family for Christmas Day dinner we were seated and served immediately, our server was fun and attentive, one of the restaurant owner was having dinner with his family next to us he stop by at our table to make sure we are having a good time and wish us happy holiday ,we will definitely be back.
Both dishes were over cooked. Noisy and waiter was moody.
We had a great Christmas Day dinner at Pistache, really enjoyed it!
Excellent Christmas Day specials. Canard was notable and fantastic sweetbreads.
