While a majority of the food is sourced locally, some ingredients such as the Spanish Cheeses and Jamon Iberico de Bellota (cured ham from the acorn fed Iberico pig) are frequently used to create the traditional dishes that have been made in Spain and Pais Vasco (Basque Country) for centuries.
The beverage menu features wine, liquor, beer and cider/cidra from Spain, additionally local wine and beer are also readily available and easily paired with Pintxo’s bold and flavorful food. Specializing in Spanish GinTonics and craft cocktails.
The dining room is large but intimate and features bar and table seating as well as Private Dining and a speakeasy style bar, Branchwater, located behind the restaurant.
Excellent food and service as usual. I love this place!!!
This "Pintxo" Restaurant would be out of business in the Basque region of Spain. The food lacks the fresh quality of real pintxos. Portions are very small even for pintxo. We had for example albondigas which had no discernible taste, calamari (which took a long time to shop up) fried beyond recognition and tasteless and two small-ish balls showing up as croqueta de jamon, likewise without much taste. The place is pricey for the quality of food it delivers. The only thing that worked were the pimientos de padron. There's better food in Seattle
Food and service was amazing! And the Seafood Paella was delicious!!
Love the atmosphere, the small plates are creative and super tasty. Loved that the bartender made us custom craft cocktails he thought we would like, and we loved them!
Good and ambiance was perfect
I had never been, but a made a reservation for a party of 8. As it was on the larger side, I worked with the restaurant to order the paellas and some tapas a head of time. They were on there A-game for sure. Within minutes of arriving, our pitchers of sangria and a few of the tapas soared to the table. All nice their service was phenomenal and the food was so tasty. I highly recommend the seafood paella and sherried mushrooms . Thank Pintxo for an awesome night!
Everything at Pintxo was perfect, from the service to the food. Especially delicious were the gambas and chistorras.
Food was great and original. The Basque Cidre was amazing. Staff was so nice to us. A Must in Seattle.
Didn’t like the paella. Had strong spices and didn’t taste like Spanish food.
Loved it! What a gorgeous bar and the food was delish. Daniel took great care of us. We’ll be back for sure.
Great service. We had a young child with us and the waiter was was absolutely fantastic with him! Food is fantastic and there is something for everyone
Food was great. Sangria just average. Seemed like wine poured into carafe.
Amazing food, love their sangria and paella!!
Pintxo was a delicious restaurant. We appreciated the tapas and the drink we had. The paella was also scrumptious! It wasn’t too busy at 5:00 which was nice.
Great menu - really good, and relatively genuine tapas! Also serve some mean G&Ts!! Good service too. Highly recommend!
This is a great little place. I'm vegan and had several options to choose from, which was such a nice change of pace. The veggie paella was so dang delicious & worth the wait (they take a bit to cook).
Great Spanish food!
First trip to Pintxo with a party of four. While ordering, we courteously gave the server a head's up that we would need two separate checks, and were dismayed when told it was the restaurant's official policy not to offer separate checks for parties of ANY size.
Frankly, this is a terrible customer-facing policy. Restaurants universally offer separate checks because most people going out with friends rely on the practice to reduce the hassle of figuring out who owes what; especially when there might be wildly different appetites and drinking habits. The last thing I want to do at the end of a luxurious dinner with friends (when people have been drinking) is hold people accountable for who ordered what and do elaborate math (nobody remembers to include their own sales tax!) on the back of a check.
Restaurateurs should recognize that there are a LOT of fantastic restaurants in Seattle. There are so many options to choose from that it's super-easy to automatically disregard any restaurant that has a silly, antagonistic policy towards groups of friends dining together. Please reconsider this policy, because as good as the food and service was, this kind of thing is likely going to be a deal-breaker for us.
We’re visiting from San Diego and work in the food industry. We happened to stumble upon Pintxo and made a reservation, and I’m so glad that we did! Every person that we came in contact with was so friendly and accommodating! The ambiance may have been my favorite part of the whole experience, however, the food was delicious and the paella reminded me of my travels in Valencia! The selection of tapas was extensive with choices for everyone! We’d definitely go back!
Very warm and friendly service, interesting small plates and great prices.
Each time we return to Pintxo I am reminded how much I love small plates. We shared Brussel Sprouts (the bacon jam was almost better than the sprouts), Lamb Skewers, Scallops, Shrimp Skewers, and Rice Pudding. We loved the variety of flavors. Wish we could have tried more. Will return.
Paella is delicious. The place is spacious and has a good ambience.
Food was fine, service was mediocre. Good for conversation, but nothing exceptionally great.
Great! Repeat dining 😄
Appetizers were good, paella was ok
First time all good!
A little loud
Good food and nice ambiance. Our server was great!
Great for large groups of 8 or 9. Delicious small plates. Seafood paella is great, clams wonderful, bacon-wrapped dates were a big hit, oxtail on potato puff yummy. Loved it all!
Outstanding!! We were a large party seated at the same time as another large party--there wasn't a lag in service, quality of food, and more. Our server was so attentive and made great recommendations for the table. The sauces were spectacular--our tables enjoyed the polenta cakes/shrimp and clams the most, but it was all spectacular! Kudos to the staff and crew for the promptness of drinks and the litany of tapas we ordered...it was EXCELLENCE all across the board!
Lots of tasty Tapas, with clear V, GF indications. We got there right before Happy Hour ended, so the small plates were even slightly more affordable. Everything was well prepared and delicious, and easily filled up a vegetarian family of 3.
Service was excellent. Calm in cream sauce was towards the salty side. Seafood (fish and calms) on seafood paella was dry. Great craft draft beer choices and attentive staff. Will come back for HH.
Delicious food and great service. Can't wait to go back for more.
The seafood paella was $38 and had very little seafood in it. It was mainly rise.
Daniel our server was amazing. He knew just how much coversation we wanted and help with the menu. He came as often as we needed him. I would ask for his section next time I come.
Everything was delicious tonight! We enjoy every trip down to Pintxo, but tonight was especially wonderful. Thanks for a great evening!
We had a wonderful meal! We loved the atmosphere and the service was great. Will definitely go back!
A wonderful experience! High-quality charcuterie, the patatas, calamari, and apple radicchio salad were good, and the list of wines, sherries and vermouth was well-curated. Would recommend!
Having spent our honeymoon in Spain 27 years ago, we still have a soft spot for authentic Spanish tapas, paella, rioja wines and all the rest. We have found only 3 restaurants in the United States that come close to the tastes of Spain: one in Cambridge, Massachusetts, one in Santa Monica, California, and now Pintxo in Seattle! After this first visit we already are trying to find excuses to get our friends and relatives to join us at Pintxo which I suspect will become our new restaurant for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food fantastic, and true to Spanish tradition we did not feel rushed at all. We had fun ordering first one and then another round of tapas, savoring the wonderful rioja wine, and then came the paella! Fantastico! Luckily we saved room for dessert because they were delicious as well. If you want to introduce your friends and family to authentic Spanish cuisine, vayan ustedes a Pinxto!
Visited Basque region of Spain last year - Pintxo was spot on! Was like being back in San Sebastián with the “something unique” we found in every pintxo bar and restaurant - each restaurant had its own character, style and tastes - well done!
