While a majority of the food is sourced locally, some ingredients such as the Spanish Cheeses and Jamon Iberico de Bellota (cured ham from the acorn fed Iberico pig) are frequently used to create the traditional dishes that have been made in Spain and Pais Vasco (Basque Country) for centuries.
The beverage menu features wine, liquor, beer and cider/cidra from Spain, additionally local wine and beer are also readily available and easily paired with Pintxo’s bold and flavorful food. Specializing in Spanish GinTonics and craft cocktails.
The dining room is large but intimate and features bar and table seating as well as Private Dining and a speakeasy style bar, Branchwater, located behind the restaurant.
Thix plaxe wux prexty gooxd. The room seemed too cavernous at first, with the concrete/glass and high ceilings, but by 7pm Saturday every seat was full, and though a little noisy it made it more cozy. All food was excellent, we had a lamb shank special that was perfect with sweet squash, chickpeas, and polenta. And a pretty significant octopus dish. The more typical tapas staples we had like the little omelette, sausages and stuffed pepper were also very good. Server was new-ish and didn't know everything about the menu but was kind and just attentive enough without hovering. No issues with this as a solid date night place but probably more fun with a bunch of friends drinking liters of the tasty sangria.
Been coming to PintxoPote for a while. They have always maintained their quality. Unlike restaurants that get worse over time, PintxoPote has only gotten better
They maintain using high quality, simple ingredients, with very well balanced seasoning. Food is always well cooked, never over or under cooked. From time to time, they introduce new dishes and they're always tasty.
Our regular orders are tuna belly, anchovies, omelette de patata, and huevos de jamon. Very simple. Very good. I hope they never change
Pintxo was amazing! Great drinks, delicious Spanish tapas, and beautiful stained glass around the bar.
Had a great time, love the selection of tapas available. I've been a few times and food is always perfect, I never went for very expensive wines but still managed to get decent ones. Waiters are really nice.
Really enjoyed the food which was excellent. My server was very attentive.
Appreciated the happy hour discount. Nice space.
Pintxo never disappoints. We celebrated New Year's eve and the food was amazing! Super authentic and delicious. Great wine list and service. It was not my first time here and I will go back again and again. Thank you!
Restaurant reviews on Open Table looked promising . Not sure if they had an off night on New Year’s Eve. The cocktails were delicious as was the bread. The clams and chorizo seemed over salted. Octopus was over done and therefore super dry. Pasta shells were super rich, but you may like that. Nothing stood out with the tortilla española other than it seemed to be served too cold. We waited a while before we were able to catch our server’s attention to order a second round of drinks and had to request the empty dishes be removed as we had a small table. Wouldn’t return unfortunately, but again maybe an off night.
Great variety of Tapas, very nice New Years special menu.
My husband and I used to come here all the time but hadn’t been for a few months and were excited to go back. This was a terrible experience. To order anything, we had to literally wave down a server who may have also been the bartender? But there did not seem to be a dedicated person assigned to our table. Some of the food was inedible and quality had certainly gone down since the last time we visited. The restaurant was more than sufficiently staffed and all other tables seemed to be handled fine we were just completely ignored. I wish I could rate this experience as a zero. I will never go back.
This was my second trip to Pinxto. My first trip rated a 5. This time.the food was still amazing but the service really put a damper on things. The waiter was efficient but completely rushed us to order. It was as if he couldn't wait for us to leave. Not sure if that was because we had a teenager or if it was just him. Tapas are meant to be ordered in blocks but he was forcing us to order everything up front. Sort of ruined the experience.
The server was not friendly.
Very nice restaurants, great food, large wine selection, best for sharing, sever was a little arrogant but overall we had a great time.
The paella is amazing! Worth the wait!
This place is going downhill. Where are the adults ?! It seems like a bunch of teenagers took it over and try manage it :-(
Third time at Pintxo and each time has been pleasing. The paellas are good: no soccarat, and a slightly spicy rice that somewhat masks the saffron, but very flavorful in a very good way. The shrimp, chicken, and linguica in the mixto were all good; some shellfish would have been a nice addition. The vegetarian features good mushrooms among other things. The paellas take 30 minutes or better to prepare; the pintxo (tapas) that can serve to fill that gap are notable in their own right, and come out promptly. The Fall Mushrooms were particularly delicious and the jambon croquetta were delightful.
The high-backed booths off to the side (there are only a few) are good places for conversation. Service was attentive and good.
Everything was great. If I had to single out one item it would be the clams. They were amazing but so was the paella. Great value, definitely coming back next time we are in town.
Excellent service and food
Great service and very creative kitchen staff. Most dishes come out quick. Order the Paella for your group if you're the first to arrive. It's worth the 40 min wait!
Pintxo is good ... very good - dishing out trad. small plates ... patatas bravas, charred Brussels sprouts, pain con tomat, cheese board ... all hitting the mark. The chicken skewers with moorish spices were properly paprika tangy. I was only let down by the octopus about which I’m fanatic ... it wasn’t bad, but not great either. The deserts of chocolate torte & rice pudding were excellent. All in all a very fine meal ... a little pricey for what it was ... & the service was ambiguous.
The food was fabulous. The service was nonexistent.
Great food but service was poor. Waitress didn’t want to discuss menu or make suggestions.
We were looking for a casual, comfortable eatery with an inventive menu of small plates. This place hit the spot. Cuisine is informed by Spanish traditions. I tried two cocktails, both were yum. Super-friendly service.
Great experience at Pintxo! The food was delicious and the service very attentive. It was a little noisy on Friday night but that is to be expected.
Visiting from out of town. Loved the tapas - those bacon-wrapped dates were delicious! Didn’t love the red sangria, as it wasn’t made with fruit. Service was great and it had a nice ambience.
Went in with a group of 12. The staff was very very helpful and super friendly. The food....so good. Just a fun evening for all and and a very reasonable price also.
I can’t say enough about how delicious and how fun the cuisine is. The cocktails are amazing, the vibe is cool, the waitstaff couldn’t be more attentive. It’s a vibrant little gem. Can’t wait to go back!
Good food and great service. Ideal for a date.
Great Tapas! We must have ordered 12 different items on the menu including the grilled octopus (which was brought out looking like leafless tree branches). The clams and sausage in gravy was my favorite!
Great atmosphere and drinks. Very mediocre food that tasted mostly bland and in a few dishes salty.
Good experience. Food was good but some dishes were extremely salty, others needed more seasoning and I like salt.
A great tapas bar and restaurant close to the Cinerama. We love their paella as well as the tortilla, fried peppers, tuna stuffed piquillo pepper, basically everything! Amanda and Corey have a talented kitchen staff, and we would highly recommend after dinner adjourning to the Branchwater back bar for a taste of one of their 200 bourbons.
Food/atmosphere was wonderful! Loved the industrial-chic vibe. Tapas was on par! Our favs: Sangria, Cheese plate (comes with marcona almonds), Spanish Omelette, Albondigas, & the Paella Mixta! Fabulous! Can’t wait to come back❤️.
I’ve always loved this place for the pardon peppers and cocktails but recently had their vegan paella and was blown away. The paella is the only declared vegan on the menu but the servers have always been helpful with other things that either are or can be made vegan. I really loved genuine atmosphere of their old location and was happy to find they had stayed true to it in there new location.
Great food!! Love it!
Great Spanish wines and fantastic tapas. We almost always defer to the staffs suggestions on what to pair with each round of small plates. (Get the figs)
Every dish was outstanding, both taste and in presentation.
A little bit overpriced for the value, but not bad. If you ever been to Spain and had real tapas you'll be disappointed, otherwise you'll be okay.
Qe had two types of octopus, paella and craft cocktails. Everything was excellent. Above that, its best service in Seattle!
Food was so salty and the service wasn’t great. We tried multiple tapas and all of them were salty
Visiting Seattle and wanted to try something different. Great place! Paella was fantastic and the arroz con leche was one of the best I have ever had! David, our waiter, was very helpful, attentive and helped us with special requests. I would return. Food was really good.
