While a majority of the food is sourced locally, some ingredients such as the Spanish Cheeses and Jamon Iberico de Bellota (cured ham from the acorn fed Iberico pig) are frequently used to create the traditional dishes that have been made in Spain and Pais Vasco (Basque Country) for centuries.
The beverage menu features wine, liquor, beer and cider/cidra from Spain, additionally local wine and beer are also readily available and easily paired with Pintxo’s bold and flavorful food. Specializing in Spanish GinTonics and craft cocktails.
The dining room is large but intimate and features bar and table seating as well as Private Dining and a speakeasy style bar, Branchwater, located behind the restaurant.
Service was excellent. Calm in cream sauce was towards the salty side. Seafood (fish and calms) on seafood paella was dry. Great craft draft beer choices and attentive staff. Will come back for HH.
Delicious food and great service. Can't wait to go back for more.
The seafood paella was $38 and had very little seafood in it. It was mainly rise.
Daniel our server was amazing. He knew just how much coversation we wanted and help with the menu. He came as often as we needed him. I would ask for his section next time I come.
Everything was delicious tonight! We enjoy every trip down to Pintxo, but tonight was especially wonderful. Thanks for a great evening!
We had a wonderful meal! We loved the atmosphere and the service was great. Will definitely go back!
A wonderful experience! High-quality charcuterie, the patatas, calamari, and apple radicchio salad were good, and the list of wines, sherries and vermouth was well-curated. Would recommend!
Having spent our honeymoon in Spain 27 years ago, we still have a soft spot for authentic Spanish tapas, paella, rioja wines and all the rest. We have found only 3 restaurants in the United States that come close to the tastes of Spain: one in Cambridge, Massachusetts, one in Santa Monica, California, and now Pintxo in Seattle! After this first visit we already are trying to find excuses to get our friends and relatives to join us at Pintxo which I suspect will become our new restaurant for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food fantastic, and true to Spanish tradition we did not feel rushed at all. We had fun ordering first one and then another round of tapas, savoring the wonderful rioja wine, and then came the paella! Fantastico! Luckily we saved room for dessert because they were delicious as well. If you want to introduce your friends and family to authentic Spanish cuisine, vayan ustedes a Pinxto!
Visited Basque region of Spain last year - Pintxo was spot on! Was like being back in San Sebastián with the “something unique” we found in every pintxo bar and restaurant - each restaurant had its own character, style and tastes - well done!
Came here for a major milestone birthday celebration and it was wonderful! Attentive and personable service, we had a lovely table in the back, food arrived quickly and was delicious - will definitely come here again! Thank you!
Room is interesting but was surprised to see it so empty in a Tues which seemed like a red flag. That said the staff was very friendly and attentive and timely with our 12 person table. My party and I felt the tapas items were great but the paella’s were not as good. Not bad mind you but tapas were better. Overall enjoyed the restaurant and would go back.
Great food ! The oxtail is the best ! Must get, the meatballs yum!!
Had my bday here with 11 people. Pre ordering Paella and tapas and pitchers of sangria made everything so easy. We just sat back and gorged!
Very creative spin on traditional tapas. The head chef is a gentleman and a true talent. Service from new bartender was excellent as well.
Food is good, the waiter recommended too many potato dish..
Overall, the food was good. Our server was attentive, however after choosing the specific spirit I wanted (and paid for) in my drinks, I watched the bartender use the well spirit. When it did arrive (late, after I finished eating), I asked him about it. He first denied it, then stated he mixed the two. The server was great and took the charge away, but the dishonesty from the bartender makes me not want to return.
enjoyed our evening out at Pintxo - great food and wine and great ambience!
Great service and excellent food - a great spot for a small or large party
Good food and drinks. Friendly service, though the server was a little pushy with the upsells. Beautiful atmosphere. Prices a little too high for what you get. Peppers way too salty.
Great food great service.. Paella was amazing and so was the wine
A bit expensive but food, drinks are service all exceptional
We ventured to Pintxo for their Snowpocalypse Special. What a great idea! We shared the soup special and the Seafood Paella. The soup was so good we ordered extra to take home, and the Seafood Paella was done extremely well.
Traffic was very light, we were even able to park right in front of the restauant.
Thanks to Pintxo for a great dinner.
Everything was great !
Great place for small shared plates!! The apple radicchio salad was a highlight - so crisp and fresh. There are so many options on the menu it was hard to choose; we'll just have to come back to try the rest. It was not very busy when we went on a Wednesday evening. The bartender mentioned he was open to making custom drinks beyond the cocktail menu...I always love a creative person behind the bar!
We went to Pintxo for my boyfriend's birthday with friends, and everything was lovely! The cocktails are very fun, and the food was great! We tried 14 different small plates, and the only one we didn't like as much was the brussel sprouts (just a little too charred, but damn that bacon jam was good).
We arrived to this restaurant with big expectations because of a recommendation from someone else and because we have had the opportunity to visit several restaurants in Madrid and other locations of Spain, but we left disappointed, we ordered the paella that had a minimum quantity of seafood and a lot of green beans undercooked without the tasting of the real paella, we tried also the “rabo de toro” a better tasting but a little over-salted and requires a side like salad or something else. The ambiance is good, the service is good but not superb and the prices are average: not so high not so cheap. Maybe a good place for “tapas” or drinks like sangria but the quality of the food is poor.
We enjoyed our dinner of tapas and house red wine.... all very savory. Prices are reasonabl e for this neighborhood, and it's convenient to events at Seattle Center and downtown. Service was very attentive.
Good variety of tapas but unfortunately insipid. It completely lacked the full, freshness and bold original flavors from Spanish cuisine.
Drinks were good, and service and ambiance average.
Wonderful food, excellent service, beautiful space
I think this is a very under appreciated spot for good quality tapas, nice interior and atmosphere, and friendly service.
We always love pintxo, great food quality and authenticity.
Ir is my favorite restaurant in Seattle.
This time however, food orders were a little slow, not sure if there is a ticket system in the kitchen but a system would be great so customers don't have to wait too long.
everything about this restaurant is consistently great; took a while to get our check processed once we were done because we were out of vision of the staff but we were there at peak friday. can't recommend it enough
Excellent experience, the executive chef came out for a table touch and provided excellent recommendations. Authentic Spanish tapas with real devotion to service and experience.
Patatas bravas were fantastic. I had to get a second order! Everything was beautiful and delicious!
Thix plaxe wux prexty gooxd. The room seemed too cavernous at first, with the concrete/glass and high ceilings, but by 7pm Saturday every seat was full, and though a little noisy it made it more cozy. All food was excellent, we had a lamb shank special that was perfect with sweet squash, chickpeas, and polenta. And a pretty significant octopus dish. The more typical tapas staples we had like the little omelette, sausages and stuffed pepper were also very good. Server was new-ish and didn't know everything about the menu but was kind and just attentive enough without hovering. No issues with this as a solid date night place but probably more fun with a bunch of friends drinking liters of the tasty sangria.
Been coming to PintxoPote for a while. They have always maintained their quality. Unlike restaurants that get worse over time, PintxoPote has only gotten better
They maintain using high quality, simple ingredients, with very well balanced seasoning. Food is always well cooked, never over or under cooked. From time to time, they introduce new dishes and they're always tasty.
Our regular orders are tuna belly, anchovies, omelette de patata, and huevos de jamon. Very simple. Very good. I hope they never change
Pintxo was amazing! Great drinks, delicious Spanish tapas, and beautiful stained glass around the bar.
Had a great time, love the selection of tapas available. I've been a few times and food is always perfect, I never went for very expensive wines but still managed to get decent ones. Waiters are really nice.
Really enjoyed the food which was excellent. My server was very attentive.
Appreciated the happy hour discount. Nice space.
Pintxo never disappoints. We celebrated New Year's eve and the food was amazing! Super authentic and delicious. Great wine list and service. It was not my first time here and I will go back again and again. Thank you!
