My overall experience was okay. I ordered the steak and tater tots for an appetizer and wish I could have had my steak well-done. The chopped salad and chicken oscar was delicious. For a high end restaurant, I would have liked to have more options with how my food is cooked.

I came to Raleigh for a business dinner and the prospect chose Perry’s. I’ve been to hundreds of nice restaurants all over the place for business meals. Perry’s ranks top 5. Legit one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Steak and seafood is my favorite so I always plan to go to a restaurant like this or am very happy when someone I’m going with chooses one. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The filet topped tater tots were insanely good. Service was amazing. Drinks were top notch. When I come back to NC there is NO DOUBT I’m coming back to Perry’s!

My experience at Perry’s was amazing. The food, the service, the ambiance was wonderful. We are looking forward to our next visit. Our waitress Destiny was great. She walked us through our food choices, gave great suggestions and was very attentive to us as well as the other guests she had charge of. She was sweet, professional, friendly and knowledgeable as to what pairs with what. We loved her & Hope with get her again. She provided my husband with a thoughtful Birthday card. What a great touch to an awesome evening. Thank you Perry’s Steakhouse.

My server was great and I appreciate the knowledge she provided regarding the menu. However I felt uncomfortable with the police presence because it seemed to me as if they were staring at me when all I was trying to do was enjoy my dinner. I understand the need and precautions of having security but on this particular visit it made me uncomfortable. Also as we were leaving the officer basically followed us out the door which I don’t understand because we weren’t causing any problems what so ever. In addition to that feedback my food was a bit salty but I still was able to enjoy it.

Pork cube appetizer was dry. Waiter spilled the barbecue sauce on my wife’s dress. Made no offer to make it right. Our steaks were great, bananas foster was good not great. I would go back for the steak and shrimp cocktail.

Our first visit: waitstaff seemed surprised when we asked for senior menu (an excellent value and very adequate portions) but all proceeded well. Only disappointment was that whipped potatoes are instant (or tasted that way) which we didn't expect in a place like that. Decision- we'll return again soon.

Everything was excellent, including the service, except the coffee. The coffee initially brought to the table was luke warm. The waitress explained that this was the last they had and more was being brewed (which she brought and was good and hot). I would have expected any coffee being served to be hot, regardless of whether or not it was fresh.

Our second time at Perry’s for their pork chop! Did not disappoint. Delicious! Will absolutely be back. We had the scallop potatoes and roasted potatoes as our side. Yum! Maybe next time we’ll try their Sunday special which includes sides as well.

Decor, ambience and food were great. Really wanted to like this restaurant but it was let down by service. Loved the complimentary valet parking. I am not sure when you have a reservation why you need to wait 15 minutes to be seated when there are empty tables. If you are managing the load on the kitchen then only take bookings on the half hour. Waitress was lovely but never came back for the drink order and missed the delivery of a side and sauce until we were nearly finished our meal. I ordered the chateaubriand which was delicious but the table side carving was the most unappetising thing I have ever experienced. Please teach your wait staff how to use the appropriate utensils and not squish the steak with gloves hands 🤮 and then pick up the beautifully steamed asparagus with said gloved hands to place it on the plate. Lemon bar was delicious in the lemon flavour but a grainy undercooked meringue let the dish down. I will try it again because I really want to like it.

We will return since the whole experience was outstanding. The senior meal with the pork chop was so generous that the female diner in our party took home a full meal to enjoy another day. Another plus was the quiet noise level.
