    I’ve been wanting to visit @peregrineraleigh for a while now, so when @offlineraleighdurham hosted an event there, I knew I had to go - and I’m so glad I did! We tried their new fall menu, starting with the Anticuchos de Corazon before moving on to the Bengali Wedding Chicken and Sunburst Trout for our entrees. Everything was delicious, but I’m not gonna lie - the fish head definitely caught me off guard 😂 We also ordered their September Bride and Tokyo Highlander cocktails (shoutout to Offline for the complimentary drinks).     We had most of the small plates. They were amazing. Cocktails were fantastic too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we were very impressed with the whole evening.

    This restaurant has been opened a year and half and the space is very contemporary and elegant. We were served by a very friendly staff member who explained different choices. The service and food were efficient without feeling rushed. As an added bonus the chef introduced himself and spent several minutes speaking about his background and the restaurant. We will definitely be back and appreciated the variety of choices.

    The ambiance is lovely and the service was top notch. I felt the main courses were lacking and not as innovative as I would have expected. Our party had the prawns and grits, the Bengali wedding chicken, the pasta, and the Saigon goat noodles. A friend had two small plates, that looked amazing and we shared the Roti, which was absolutely delicious. I would go back and try several small plates but wasn’t wowed by the main dishes.

    I would recommend visiting Peregrine. It was our first visit and we tried the lamb and octopus small plates and the Trout and Chicken journeys. Very delicious. Our server Shannon was excellent and very helpful navigating the menu.
