    Nice place. Prices for specials were not published or volunteered. I ordered veal scallopini. Sauce was bland and price of $52 too high. Liked the atmosphere and service was good.

    We have been to Pelican Cafe several times for dinner, and it never disappoints. Always delicious and lovely. So we decided to try it for Sunday Brunch. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite up to their standards. I did call and say we would be delayed 15 minutes and asked if that would still be ok. Whovever answered the phone said yes, but there is another reservation behind you...It just didn't sound very welcoming. There was plenty of time. The complimentary donuts were delicious! The waitress was ok, the dinner waiters are much better. We had a discussion about tuna vs chicken salad. She said the tuna salad was her favorite, so I said sure I'll have that. Needless to say, I got the chicken salad. She apologized, and it was ok. My husband requested rye toast with his fritatta, and that never came. My husband enjoyed his fritatta. At the end of the meal, we were never asked if we wanted anything else and the check came. We put in in the sleeve, and it probably sat there for 10 minutes. Then a woman came, not the waitress, and said, "Can I take this for you? We have another reservation for this table." Again, a bit off-putting. So anyways, we will return for dinner, but not for brunch. Seemed like 2 different restaurants.

    Amazing place!! Drove here today for a second visit a year later in traveling from Miami to Oviedo. Dena was exceptional and food fresh and amazing! Love the fresh flowers and classy touches! A gem.

    The food was indeed very good but the seating accommodations were very tight and relatively uncomfortable. Would've been more enjoyable had we been seated at a round table and would insist on same for our next visit.

    This was our second time ….. previously had filets, which were excellent and went back to try pasta this time. Pasta was creative and Very good. Service was great — a tentative, knowledgable and professional. Portions were well sized as were the salads.

    Extremely disappointing, probably the worst restaurant experience in our 10 years of living in the area. Booked the restaurant for my wife’s milestone birthday on Opetable from the link on the restaurant’s website. The hostess gave us attitude and told us since we didn’t call that we would be seated directly in front of a harshly loud band. Like it was our fault! We got moved to an equally bad table also next to the band through a glass door. No waiter service for first 20 minutes. No clearing of dishes (understaffed). The food was average at best(appetizers pre-prepared came out immediately) and waited 39 minutes for the entrees (linguini with white clam sauce was watery and bland). Dinner cost 325 dollars for 4 people with no alcohol. I don’t review restaurants ever but this place was truly bad. Avoid.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Pelican. Everyone was outstanding and the food was delicious. Even the music (which was a little too loud for us) was thoroughly enjoyable. The singers voices were beautiful and we loved their song selection. we will definitely be back. The couple we were supposed to come with cancelled at the last minute so we came ourselves and I am so glad we did

    It was our first time dining at this restaurant, and we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Although we arrived a little earlier than our reservation, we were seated in minutes. Alex, our server was wonderful. He was very personable and attentive, yet professional. We had four courses, and each one was delicious. I especially enjoyed the eggplant rollatini. My husband had a few of the daily specials (lobster bisque and the his pasta pillows served with shrimp) and would recommend them both. He thought the bisque was even better than a high end steakhouse we enjoy on special occasions. Overall, we were very pleased with the entire experience.
