I love this place. It's got a hip vibe, the wait team is super friendly, amazing food and always delivers. The jambalaya is out of this world, as is all of the fresh fish, oysters, shrimp etc. Definitely give it a try.

Despite a predominately young, loud crowd, this 70+ couple really enjoyed themselves! The food was amazing! Great chopped salad with tons of popcorn shrimp, enough for 2. The seafood gumbo was delicious, just the right amount of spice. Enjoyed the fried oysters dinner that came with warm greens, coleslaw and fried potatoes. The beignets also delicious. All this and very reasonably priced. Nice service by KC and warm hosts and one of them even hailed a cab for us. Great evening!

Appetizer’s were fantastic, Dinner was very good (but waiter gave me wrong order and slight debate ensued), also had 2 different waiters - 1st one seemed perturbed that I hadn’t ordered drink upon arrival. The desserts were bad - Banana’s Foster (thick and sweet) and the Tres Leche (inedible sweet)

It’s a restaurant/dive bar. It’s pretty noisy but the food and service is great. I would have gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the noise but that was my only complaint. Other than that it was a 4 star experience.

Pearl Dive is small venue with a lot of charm. The bar area draws a sizable afterwork/happy hour crowd. The menu has a few interesting oyster preparations and a good selection of Louisiana specialties, i.e., Jambalaya and Gumbo. The menu is a bit sparse if seafood isn't your thing, but it doesn't hide that it is a seafood forward restaurant. Overall a good restaurant, and accurately described by Michelin guide.

Our group had a wonderful time at Pearl Dive Oyster Palace. Two of our group arrived a few minutes late, but it was great that the rest of our party was able to be seated. Our waiter was very attentive, knew the dishes well, and staggered our dishes appropriately throughout our meal. The runners also did a good job of describing dishes as they came to the table. We had a variety of dishes, and all of them were very tasty. Our only issue was that our larger table was next to the bathrooms, and when they got busy people ended up standing next to our table. All in all we had a great time!

One of my favorite places to visit when I come to DC! This time was much different. Unfortunately the food wasn’t up to the normal standard & when my friend mentioned several times that she didn’t like her food she was not acknowledged by the server or runner.

The food was awesome and the restaurant had amazing energy. The service was great. It was a fun place to have a birthday dinner. The highlights were the caesar salad, mussels (omgggggg) and the Pearl Cup. The free round of sparkling wine was pretty great too. 10/10 I’ll be back!

This was my first time dining at Pearl Dive and it was absolute perfection! The food was flavorful and delicious, the music and ambiance were on point and the staff were attentive and friendly. If you love seafood and oysters, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!

We’ve been fans of Pearl dive for the past 5 years. The food remains outstanding. The service is friendly and helpful. The oysters are some of the best selection. The only downside is the noise from the bar. It seems in the past year or so the bar has been expanded and the noise is almost deafening. That would be the only negative thing to do for an otherwise fantastic place.

Host said he couldn’t give us a booth because he needed them for larger parties then proceeded to seat parties of two at the next two booths that became available. Poached eggs were basically hard-boiled so the manager graciously comped our bottle of wine.

This restaurant is fantastic. We made a reservation and were seated right away. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Our server was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. The food was incredible. The menu was unique and everything we had was so fresh and flavorful. Don’t even get me started on the bread basket! Our server suggested the bananas foster for dessert. I actually don’t like bananas but it was delicious and I don’t regret it. From start to finish this was a great experience. I live in PA but will happily brave D.C traffic to come here again.

Had a great and delicious experience for my birthday dinner before heading to theater. The server was friendly and attentive. I would say based on our experience though I would stick to seafood. Mine appetizer and entree were outstanding! Unfortunately my husband had the pricey steak frites which was a bit tough and the fries could have hot instead of warm.
