The display board on entering the restaurant broadcast a "special" of lamb shank "mahiche" and zereshk polow "celebration rice". My wife and I ordered one each of this dish, augmented with a plate of hummus and pita bread plus a Shirazi salad. The hummus was good, though not as good as the hummus my wife makes, but its proportion was quite small and the dollop provided disappeared fast between the two of us, trying as best we could to stretch it out among the triangles of pita, but we were left we several left over pitas. The salad was good, perhaps the best part of the meal. The lamb shank was all right, but nothing special. In fact, my wife, who had never prepared a lamb shank before, concocted a recipe for one just 8 days ago and it, and the sauce she created, were far superior to Pars Cuisine's version. And this was her first-time effort! The rice mixture was decent, but again nothing spectacular, although the portion was generous; my wife left 2/3 of hers on the plate. To close, we had the white tea infused with pomegranate, and its unique flavor was quite interesting. The service was both good and execrable. Our waitress was very pleasant and responsive--a good one. However, when we entered the restaurant and were offered a table, my wife indicated we'd like to sit in the section where the tables were low and diners sat on cushions. It was a Sunday evening and there was not a single other diner in the section. My wife selected a nice table to dine at, but the waiter said, "Oh, no, you can't have that one." The table was set for four and there were but two of us. We were offered a very small table that looked as though it might be very crowded. Unacceptable. So the waiter fetched the head waiter and both men returned to say the table selected was off limits. So I spent an uncomfortable evening on a low cramped chair. No other diner ever entered the section. It was appalling to be refused a comfortable dining experience for no good reason.

5 Stars: Lamb shank in tomato sauce, top sirloin kabob, orange blossom tea (Pot); elegant drinking glass, always upgrade to the jeweled rice: delectable! Choose the Persian Baklava! It is a delightful single bite with melt in your mouth white pearl candied teasers. 5 Stars: Belly dancer Lorena. She wore such beautiful costumes. She makes you blush. She never loses eye contact or her beautiful smile! 5 Stars: Amie's service was superb!

We were very pleased with the service given to accommodate our needs. We thought we would sit outside but with the setting sun it quickly cooled down but the staff moved us inside quickly and easily. Our questions were answered and the food was quite good. Entertainment was provided by a lovely belly dancer and put us in a far away frame of mind. Highly recommended for adventurous diners.

Amazing as always, it’s been a while since i’ve been in but i’m happy to say it holds it’s consistency, I had the beef and lamb gyro which so so amazingly tender and full of flavor, i also had the pomegranate mimosa which was delicious and complex without being overtly sweet, all the members of my party left full and happy, i can’t wait to come back!

It was a pleasant evening. The restaurant was extremely busy so did not get water refills and took time to be waited on. Music was somewhat loud, especially during the belly dancing. Food was delicious and the staff seemed friendly.

If you enjoy entertainment with dinner, this is your place. We were entertained by a talented belly dancer that also encouraged audience participation. We were here Valentine's Day and there was a special for couples. We shared the yummy Mazeh platter, and I had the chicken and veggies kabab with their special rice. Everything was really, really, good and grilled perfectly! Our evening ended with a to die for chocolate layer cake. Gotta have chocolate for Valentine's Day. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food. Great ambience. Talked to a couple of there. He’s been their Go To place for almost 20 years. Food arrived fast and friendly. I ordered the Lamb and probably some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Locally sourced. Will go back.

The food at Pars cuisine was fair. The best part of the meal was the rice. The service was ok. The waitress didn't hear one of the orders so everyone got their food except for one person who had to wait on his food.

The food was great as was the ambience and the value. When the belly dancer started the music was really loud but that was corrected reasonably quickly. I love belly dancers so that was fun; it just was too loud initially. I would definitely go back, though!

We had delicious salads with Chicken Souvlaki and Gyro meat, a nice red and finished with a baklava sundae. During dinner we were entertained by a friendly and inviting belly dancer. She even gave me a quick belly dancing lesson. Too fun! We would highly recommend Pars Cuisine for dinner only or for the dinner with belly dancing on the weekend.

Nobody was minding the entrance so we waited more than 5 minutes to be seated. There was no ma or hostess to greet us. The young waiter who saw us assured us someone would be right with us, however he took no action to actually get someone to seat us. Once we were seated by a more experienced waitress, she was excellent. The belly dancer was fun, really delightful. The entrees of dolmas, and hummus and pita were excellent. The dinners salads excellent. The dessert was excellent. The entrees, however were disappointing. Below average quality and below average presentation.

Great food and service. One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten anywhere and I have traveled extensively and lived elsewhere in a city known for great food. I have eaten at many fine restaurants. We are lucky to have such a great fine dining restaurant in Albuquerque.
