It's a very small place with a small staff, at least on tghe night we were there. We had the paprikash and a goulash. Both were fantastic. It's pure comfort food.

Hello Sean , Thank you for visiting our little spot. We’re a small team, so it means a lot to hear you loved the paprikash and goulash — pure comfort food indeed. Hope to see you again soon. Thank you Peter , Paprika

Unfortunately, as of July 2026 they no longer have any vegan entrees (they used to do a vegan goulash). We ordered the split pea soup and the vegan sausage - the split pea soup was wonderfully savoury and nuanced, and a decent-sized portion. The vegan sausage was just okay - a bit on the sweet side, though it came with great bread. I'm glad we gave it a shot, since we wanted to taste Hungarian food, but I can't quite recommend to other vegan folks at this time.

Thank you for giving us a try and for the thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the split pea soup, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with the vegan options — it helps us improve. Thank you, Peter, Paprika

Drove all the way from Monterey. Could not find parking. They never responded regarding where to park. Was very frustrated. The food was probably good, but the parking situation was terrible.
