   I had never been on a Sunday before and the ambience is not my vibe at all. The music was too loud and the atmosphere in general has too much going on to even engage your other dining companions over a meal. The shrimp pasta with lobster was not good at all. The sauce was really heavy but more importantly the lobster tail was signify overcooked. It was completely curled into a c with no shape which changed the texture. When they busy tables the rush and hurry is very disruptive. The table next to us opened up and in haste to clear the tables they were flinging liquids and dropping trash. The demographic they target for brunch is clearly a younger crowd who likes disruption. I’m not even old but I felt old there.

   I decided to go to Poppy Cuisine for my birthday brunch. I'm so glad I did because the food was amazing and so it was the service. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits with lamb chops and for drink I asked the waitress to surprise me. She came up with something so delicious to the point where I ordered two. The atmosphere is really chill and laid back and perfect for a birthday dinner or girls night out. Our server was very attentive and upbeat. The food tasted like somebody's Grandmama and Mama were in that kitchen cooking! Y'all just go you won't be disappointed!

   First time here! The ambiance was great. It wasn’t really a long wait for us to be seated since our party sized changed! However I don’t like that the place groups of twos at the high top tables immediately if they are available. Sitting high up wasn’t a problem but I would’ve preferred to be at a ground level table. Plus if you’re ordering more than one thing everything doesn’t fit on the table. We had the crab cake egg rolls, salmon with kale collards, and mash potatoes along with the jerk lamb chops, mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Food was amazing but I will say the portion size for the actual entrees are quiet mid size for the price but worth it especially if your getting more than 1 appetizers so it makes up for it. Drinks are pretty good, had the mango lemonade and strawberry lemon drop (but she ended up bringing the regular lemon drop). Both straight LIQUORRRR. Overall enjoyed it here would definitely go back to try other things. Waiter was attentive but she was also attending the bar crowd as well. But she kept up with her tables that wasn’t at the bar :)

    Overpriced food with no taste. Upcharge for everything. Alfredo sauce had zero flavor. Crab egg rolls were good and bread pudding.

    As usual the food and service was amazing. Our waitress was Amaya and she was awesome. She has great customer service. Our food came out hot and fast. Our reserved table was ready when we got there. We have no complaints. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    I've been here 6 times or more we drive from Philly. Food always great. This visit I noticed the crab egg rolls were smaller which was a disappointment. The music is always loud I feel like I can't think. Food and drinks were amazing I have never been disappointed. This time only complaint i have was my server, she never checked on us asked for refills, or if we wanted more drinks which we did. After my food came I had to ask for her twice to get a steak knife and A1 sauce bout time she brought it my food was cold, that was annoying. I actually watch her check on other tables and turn around. I'm big on tipping because I understand they work for tips she didn't provide good service at all but I still tip her.

    Very nice greeter. We arrived 15 minutes early and they are not lying about don’t come too early lol but we were fine and waited in the bar area. Got seated right at our reservation time and had the lamb and kale and Mac n cheese and thought we had died and gone to heaven! One of my favorite meals in a long time.

    This place was EVERYTHING I read and more! The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the staff were friendly and professional. The website says business casual dress code but everyone was dressed relaxed, style and age appropriate. We can't wait to visit again.

    Lamb Chops are a fan favorite with good reason, free parking on 1st level, 2hr dining limit, drinks were good, not sure I would go for a birthday or special occasion for a group of 6 or more.

    Papi’s was my favorite place to go for any occasion. My boyfriend and I went on 3/16/23 and we enjoyed the ambience. It was a little noisy but it’s not unusual considering that they’re always busy. I ordered the crab cake and lamb chops. Before I ordered I asked the waiter what was the quantity of the lamb chops? He replied 3-4 and so I thought okay I’ll order it. When I got my plate I only had two lamb chops. It was to include two side dishes.The worst part was when I got the check. They charged me $80 for one crab cake and two lamb chops. Also, now you’re paying an additional $10 for Mac and cheese. I was outraged and they wouldn’t do anything to compensate me for a $90 dollar plate. I was a loyal customer of this place but I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.

    Food here is pretty good… but the overall customer service leaves much to be desired. We had a reservation for 6pm and did not get seated until after 6:30. And even though we had a nice waiter, they do not make it plainly obvious to you that gratuity is included on the bill, and you don’t even get a paper check. They swipe your card on the hand-held machine and then present you with the option to tip. I

    I love everything about this place, but the food is amazing!! Absolutely the best! I had the stuffed lobster tail and the bread pudding to finish it off. Absolutely delicious..1 of the best I’ve ever had. A little pricey, but well worth it!!

    Had reservation at 9:30pm. Got inside the restaurant to check in at 9:25pm but nobody didn’t come to check up on until 9:45pm & I wasn’t seated until 10pm. Once I was sitting the waiter told me I have to hurry because the kitchen is closed….so I wasn’t seated on time but 30 minutes after my reservation then rushed to order because kitchen is closed. Very poor service

    It is really nice to see a BLACK business thriving like this and on a Tuesday It was great experience. We will be back. We had lamb tacos, seafood bowl, seafood tacos, wings nd of course the honey old bay wings.

    The drinks are not as strong anymore and the bartender is so slow!!! I guess Bc it was Tuesday when they do happy hour and the live DJ but overall I would’ve loved to get more than one drink. Food was still great. Atmosphere even better.

    A visit to Papi Cuisine is an absolute must on Tuesday between 12-8p. Make a reservation to ensure you have a seat. The specials are worth it! The menu will satisfy the taste buds of all who enter the doors. Be sure to order the crab cake egg rolls and a Henny Island! You will not be disappointed.

    The service sucks... We got all the food before we got drinks, when the drink order was put in First. We ordered more drinks and watched out server give them to the table next to us. They said they didn't order drinks but they will take them. She put in another drink order when we told her the drinks were ours, the took so long we were asked to leave because our 2 hours was up. So we never got the drinks.

    I took my fiance to this restuarant for his birthday because I've only heard wonderful this about it for years. I booked a reservation a week ahead on OpenTable to I could make sure we had a dining room table so we could enjoy his birthday. It took us 50 minutes to drive to Baltimore so we could eat at this establishment. We arrived to find our table was given away and that we would have to sit on the bar tops..... Me and my fiance were upset but didn't want to wait 30 minutes until a table was ready so we just took the bar set up. The bar waiter took her time getting around to us but when we finally ordered we ordered the shrimp & eggrolls because those were highly praised across all social media platforms. Both items were sub-par and mediocre considering both plates totaled for $12 each. I ordered the chimichurri lamb lollipops , which were not smoothered in the special green sauce, which tasted blan by itself the mashed potatoes I ordered as a side had more flavor. My fiance ordered the stuffed crab lobster which he did enjoyed. We also op-ed to share the highly-rated $10 mac & cheese because we weren't sure it would be worth getting two plates, and our intuition proved it right. It was a single portion gouda/chedder mac which lacked that indept flavor and comfort you expect from mac & cheese. The ambiance of this place was amazing!! But what I was absolutely upset about was that this place charges a mandatory 20% gratuity on the service price.... the barhand we had serving us was rude and rarely came to see if we needed anything. We kept asking other service staff to help accommodate us because the barhand wouldn't come around. Overall after spending over $200 on two people I was left dissatisfied with the overall experience of this place. We went to another restaurant afterwards because we were still hungry from the small portions.

    I I ordered the lamb chops. I was not asked how I want them cooked. The chops were overcooked. The kale was delicious and the macaroni was very good. The apple turnover was also very good.

    Good food, good staff. Definitely not business casual and felt very hood. Security parading up and down looking like ninjas definitely killed the ambience. Floors were dirty but toilets were super clean!

    We drove from Dover Delaware. It was so worth the drive. We made our reservation a month out and we can't wait to make another so we can come back. The fried shrimp...excellent! Can we get the recipe. 😆 The drinks were on point. The service was great. Loved the atmosphere. All around great dining experience.

    The ambiance at Papi Cuisines was nice, the service was spectacular and the food was delicious. I will definitely return for the Brussel sprouts, cauliflower bites, fried lobster, asparagus and the drinks! We weren’t impressed with the crab egg rolls. My best friend had the crab egg rolls back in early 2021 when Papi Cusine was located on Fleet Street. She feels that the crab eggrolls she had in 2021 were much better than the ones we had yesterday. Overall we had a great experience and will visit again soon.

    The food was good. We waited quite a bit because the server didn’t know we were in her section. The atmosphere was good. I didn’t appreciate being charge a service fee of $40.00. I didn’t know until I saw it on my bill and asked the server. I do believe in tipping for good service. But when you automatically add it to my bill then the servers don’t need to provide good service. Just my opinion.

    I traveled from Delaware. The food looked good but didn’t taste good, my plate was small. It was very expensive, they add service charge on top of tip. Spent $150 and went home hungry. Won’t be returning.
