Paces & Vine
Paces & Vine's menu features approachable fare with simple presentation and careful preparation. Guests can count on signature dishes inspired by the neighborhood including dinner entrees like guiness braised brisket.
Unique lunch offerings feature lobster cobb salad, double stack burger and shrimp tacos. Our brunch menu features chilaquiles, briskets and grits and fried chicken sandwich.
Very disappointed, last visit here was very good. To begin, the brunch menu was not much to speak of and the fried chicken sandwich was just boring. The “kitchen “ was backed up all day but the place was not packed but food service was sooooo slooow. The free dessert softened the dissatisfaction but we would rather good and tasty food.
I made a reservation for Father's Day to try a new place. They were busy, but it took almost an hour to get our food, which was nothing special. The fried chicken was dry (chicken & waffles), the salad was pretty much lettuce, and the salmon was under cooked and had no seasoning at all. The best part was the bread basket, and the waiter kindly brought a second one 30 minutes into the wait for food. The ambiance was nice and the outside seating looked pleasant. Then a family came in and let their kids watch videos on electronic devices with no headsets. All in all, it was a bit of a blessing to spend extra time with my family, but have no reason to go back.
Usually one of our favorites, Paces & Vine really disappointed us on Father's Day. Our reservations were for 12:30p. When we arrived at 12:25p, they were already backed up and a large crowd started to form at the hostess stand. It was Father's day and there were several families with children. We were very cramped in the waiting space and we could see several empty tables. Once we sat down, our server was very nice. However, we didn't receive our meal until over an hour after our reservation time. There were several tables (with young children) who were not being served and everyone was getting anxious. When I spoke to the manager on duty, her response was rather flippant ("I'll let the general manager know . . "). I'm saddened that their poor planning put a damper on what was intended to be a nice family meal. The food was also very average. Not worth the long wait at all.
It’s Father’s Day, so I understand that restaurants are very busy, however we had to wait 35 minutes for our meals to be delivered, as we watched other diners who entered after we did eat their meals.
The quiche and grits were tasteless which was surprising given that we had excellent meals here previously. The omelet and French toast were fine.
The waitperson was fine; none of this was her responsibility.
Service from Juan was the best and dinner was delicious!
We also have found Paces & Vine on the money and our last visit was no exception. The brisket and crab cakes were a hit. Service was great and very impressive for our of town guests.
Service was slow but waitress was very nice.
Wow, what a a great find in the Vinings area. Great food, atmosphere, and service. I had the sea bass which had a wonderful sauce to it. The evening was topped off with an incredible cheesecake with peaches on top.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta.
Both of me servers this past week were excellent.
Food was good, but the waitstaff was great.
Was our first visit was awesome. Rachel answered our questions about what to try food and wine wise and her suggestions lead to a total awesome experience.
Food was great! Our server was pretty slow though.
Outstanding food - gourmet American. Delicious. We will all be definitely be back.
I come here about once a month for a business lunch and it never disappoints. The food and service are always top notch. I have not had anything off of the lunch menu that isn’t excellent My hamburger yesterday was beautiful and delicious. The chicken quesadilla is my favorite.
Service was excellent! Food was very good. The mussels were soft and juicy and loved the tomato broth.
Disappointed in the truffle fries
Everyone i our party of five loved their meals! The wine pours were excellent also. Thank you!
Great food and sever was great-but they were under staffed
My first experience here, and I loved it! Will definitely go back.
Incredible experience, as always. We will be back!!!
Everything was perfect!
The menu was full of delicious choices. Also, when we went all bottles of wine were 50% off (this was on a Sunday and I am not sure how often they do this, but very nice). The service was great and our server, Omar, was very knowledgeable and nice. Their dessert was amazing! I highly recommend the bread pudding.
We’ve been coming to Paces and Vine for a while now. Most recently had a family group for birthday celebration. Great service, wine selection and menu. Atlanta has a ton of solid options but what brings us back to P&V is a very nice neighborhood bistro vibe that consistently delivers a positive experience.
Food was excellent but took a long time to come out even though they weren’t very busy.
I like Paces&Vine. Eat there often. The food is good. That said, I am particularly annoyed when a wait person asks me if I want to pay an additional $5 for actual lobster in my lobster bisque... just raise the price for Pete's sake! The service was poor on our last visit. We waited 20 mins for our wine order. We waited 25 mins for the first course. Our wait person was a over the place. I assume they are understaffed. At this price point, they need to be better.
We live in the neighborhood and consider Paces & Vine to be our favorite local restaurant. It has a great vibe whether you eat inside or out. The food is consistently good, the service is reliable and the craft cocktails delicious! I would recommend it to anyone.
Our server, Becca was outstanding. She was very considerate and efficient. She even took time to visit with us and describe her dancing vocation.
Consistency is the best way of describing this restaurant. The changes made by a new chief to showcase specialties make the whole experience great. We have tried everything on the menu. Having something different makes everything alright. Eating out in the patio area is perfect for a evening meal. Our server, Juan is always on time with the service he provides. Bar tenders Madison and Sarah are a joy to have them serve you.
NO one in the restaurant...the hostesses rolled their eyes when we asked for a regular table vs. a small table. Did not appreciate the attitude. Waiter was occasionally pleasant but not attentive. Food was amazing.
This is a nice spot we have fell in love with. Don’t like the fans out side . It make the food get cold fast .we love the patio!!!!
My friend got the fish and liked it. I got steak special and meat was so tough I couldn’t eat it. Very disappointed as I’d had brunch before and it was good.
Great food, took over 40 mins to get a drink at lunch. Service was the slowest I’ve seen in a long time.
Dear Anonymous, I'm sorry that your service was not up to our standards. Please give us a call to let us know another time you would like to come in and your next drink is on us!!!
Mother’s Day Brunch
The Buffett for Mother’s Day was terrible and not worth the money.
I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. It was good but is was very greasy. My fiance had the Chilean Sea Bass. For it to be one of the most expensive things on the menu it was truly lacking. The sea bass small and served with 1 leeks cut in half and couple of shitake mushrooms. It wouldv've been nice know whether or not it came with sides. The menu wasn't explained to us at all, even though we told our server it was our first time. I expected better service for such a nice place.
Nice, simple breakfast buffet with a traditional selection. My family of breakfast eaters was very pleased!
So glad you enjoyed the buffet! Thanks for the nice comment.
Brunch was a buffet. Unfortunately it just wasn’t maintained. Food was cold, dried out and just not appetizing. Then it cost $37 which would have been overpriced even if the food had been good. Too small of a selection to carry that type of price. Then we barely saw our waitress so plates were stacked up on our table and by the time I could even order a cup of coffee everyone else was done with their meals. Very disappointing. I felt very bad that I brought my mom here to celebrate with bad food & a big bill!
Delicious cocktails and wine selection, light and hearty food options well prepared, and a great atmosphere
I loved the ambience here! Beautiful, inviting setting. My salad was delicious and the menu had so many other things I wanted to try. Will definitely come back
