We had a dinner for 4. There was a private function going on in part of the restaurant which may explain part of the issue. Our server was a young woman who maybe needs to find another career. She was pleasant enough but kept calling all of us “honey”. She was inattentive and would rush by without seeing if we needed something. She got our order wrong and when we asked for salt and pepper she only delivered the pepper grinder. After 10 minutes we got some salt. At one point we had to go pick up our own drinks at the bar. When we got the bill we were charged for 3 drinks instead of 2, the salad we didn’t order and returned, the beer that was flat and returned. Not a good experience. I realize that help is hard to come by but this person was no help.

I hadn’t been to this place for years, but it used to be a favorite. We had outstanding cocktail, wine and salad. Our pasta was not good at all, nor was the polenta appetizer. Super disappointing, especially for the amount of money we spent.

As often happens when one makes reservations, one is ushered to the worst table in the house. In this case, a tiny, dark, cold window table in a transitional space. Thankfully, the hostess was gracious when we refused to sit there and gave us a booth. The main server was friendly and professional, without annoying and patronizing small talk, and kept our meal at just the right pace, not rushing us nor delaying things too much. The gnocco fritto would have been worth the cost of the visit here all by itself, tiny dough balls deep fried to blow up into weightless bubbles and served still warm. Nobody else offers this, I don't think. The piadina was predictably excellent with the little cheese platter, which seemed a bit skimpy and pricey for what it was. The lasagne verdi entree and the broiled-chicken-leg-with-polenta dish were both outstanding, flavorful, people-size not gigantic portions, beautifully presented, and good value. Dessert in form of a chocolate hazelnut "tart" (which must be very difficult to get right without melting everything into a glop) and panna cotta with a lovely bitter sauce was also excellent. And, hailing back to about 1994, the espresso only cost $2.50 and was very good as well. We've been here many times, but not recently, because: pandemic and crowds. But on a Tuesday night, we could deal with the traffic at La Spiga and the experience was very fine.

This was my 5th time dining here and I think the best way to sum it up is: if this was my first time here then I wouldn’t return. I usually have fantastic customer service when I dine here but last night was disappointing to say the least. Our server wasn’t attentive - for example I ordered the beef tenderloin but didn’t have a knife to use. I waited for a few minutes expecting she would come by to check in on us but she was no where to be found. I finally asked the person clearing the table next to ours for a knife. She came by halfway through the meal then disappeared again. I want to note that this was a Tuesday around 8pm so it wasn’t busy at all. The food has been better but this time it was on the underwhelming side.

The restaurant was beautiful and my Ragu Tagliatelle was delicious. I didn’t like the cocktail I ordered and it didn’t taste the way the waitress described but the Barbera wine was very good. We wanted a small charcuterie board but they didn’t seem to have one with both meat and cheese so we went with cheese. It was set down at the table and no one told us what kind of cheese we were eating. It came with bread that was more like pita and I would have preferred a crusty Italian bread. I would go back!

Reserved a table for 2 and had a blast with bread and olive oil , a light dinner, with wine and then left . If they hadn’t offered bill so quickly we would have stayed with another 2 drinks LD and dessert. Overall we love them food and appetizers

For Seattle Restaurant Week, you can’t beat the value and quality of La Spiga. Food was amazing and service during the end of the night could not have been better. Such a great spot with delicious food and great gluten free options.

We had a reservation but had to wait for our table. We then had to wait to order. We then had to reorder. We then had to wait for food which came out of order. Wait staff tried to make up for it by comping wine but food definitely not the same quality as before. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience.

Went to Osteria for Seattle Restaurant week. Had the $50 four course menu. The first course, salad was great, second was pasta which was good but not exceptional, the third course was supposed to be pork and was not good at all, dessert was tiramisu and was fabulous. This review is for the restaurant week menu only. I imagine other things at Osteria are fine. We were really disappointed in our main entrees. Service was fine and ambiance was too. We were in the back in the corner so noise wasn't too bad.

Food was quite tasty BUT this was the slowest service I have ever experience, I think quite literally ever. We ordered drinks and entrees, that's it, and we were there for close to 3 hours. Even getting the bill was impossible. Poor service cancels our good food in my book. Will not be returning.

This place has lost a lot of the quality in food and service. It used to be a lot better. Our party tried a combination of pastas and the tenderloin. The food was average at best. Service was inadequate. We were served appetizers without plates to eat in. One person in our party asked for a Rosé wine, the server said we have a special Rose that looks red. She actually brought dessert red wine instead. When the main course dishes were served, 2 people in our party waited several minutes to have silverware before they could start eating. In the meantime, I had to wait plenty to order a second glass of wine. The table was not being cleared of used plates and bottles. In the end, when the dessert was served, it was randomly and rudely placed on the table, away from the person who ordered it.

The space is great—very appealing, and the service was fine. The food was disappointing. The tagliatelle with truffle butter was good, but nothing special. The gnocchi and lasagna were not very good, surprisingly mediocre. But maybe it was just an off night? I might give it one more try

By far the worse dining experience I’ve ever had in my life! My group of 5 had a reservation at 715 to experience restaurant week on a weekday. Shouldn’t be to hectic is my thought. We have a friend running a bit late so we order drinks. Takes roughly 30 minutes. By 745 we order and this is where the chaos and waiting begin! Half the pasta dishes were served while the other half take an hour to show up after multiple conversations with waiters saying it should be next, it’s right in the window, they are putting the finishing touches. All B.S! When the other pasta dishes come out two out of the five entrees come out with them. Just horrible timing! This is the last bit of food we see for the rest of the night! For the rest of the hour we spend there we repeated our order thrice! By around 935 we are told we won’t be receiving the rest of our food cause the kitchen closed! So a total of two and half hours and all we got was our apps( salad and soups) and pasta (at different times) and two cold entrees! Sure we got an apology but then we were offered 40% off our bill. We refused and waited another 20 minutes to finally get comped! Sure we needed up getting it comped but it wasn’t worth waiting almost 3 hours for the food and keeping us there for so long the ramps to I5 closed! The service aside from the manager profusely apologizing was abysmal! The waiter took care of everyone else around us while seeing us without food was degrading and seemed intentional!
