Set inside an 1872 stone church on Main Street in New Hope, OldeStone Steakhouse serves USDA Prime steaks and chops beneath a vaulted ceiling, stained glass and a hand-painted mural, a short walk from the bridge to Lambertville.

Upstairs, the main dining room is the room for an occasion: Prime cuts, a raw bar, day boat seafood, stuffed twin lobster tails and the Chef's Premium Butcher Board for two. Downstairs on the lounge level, the Bar is the more casual of the two rooms and welcomes walk-ins, with share plates, steak frites and a burger, plus happy hour Monday to Friday from 4:30 to 6:30. The chandeliers above the bar came from the set of John Wick 3.

The list runs to Napa cabernet and Burgundy, with more than sixty bourbons and thirty scotches poured by the glass.

On Sundays a warm chocolate chip cookie skillet comes with every meal.

Private events run from twelve guests in the parlour to a full buy-out of both floors for two hundred and fifty.

    Our meals were one of the best we have ever had! The filet was cooked perfectly the pork chop was outstanding!! Sweet potato soufflé was on another level. That combined with the pork! AMAZING! We will be going back! Drinks were also excellent! Such a fun night with amazing food and ambiance!

    Service was really good. The ambiance is also very good. Definitely a neat building. Nice bar area. Prices are premium. My wife and I had the 20 oz Prime ribeye. Meat was not as tender as I have experienced at other steakhouse restaurants. That part was disappointing for the price. All apps and sides were prepared perfectly.

    Wow, where do I start. First of all the building is beautiful. The front bar is gorgeous, and the bartenders are outstanding. They make up some fantastic cocktails. We got seated in the upstairs main dining area, which is beautiful. The building is an old church, so it's very wide open. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, giving us some tips and suggestions that made a r experience even better.. The steaks were done perfectly. The sides we ordered which are separate we're very tasty and large. I can not say it's an inexpensive restaurant. But I have no problem paying a little bit more for one of the top ten stake houses in pennsylvania. New Hope is a great little town with many places to eat and shop. You need to put this place on your list you have not been there.

    The steak was great, the fish not so much . Beautiful setting but the tables are so close together you might as well be at the same table. Price was high but you expect that in new Hope. Valet parking was $30 plus tip but no alternative , there was no other parking on a Saturday in new Hope. Waiter was great!

    The Old Stone is an excellent house for those who want to experience a perfectly cooked steak, be it porterhouse or prime. The wait staff is very attentive and wine parings are encouraged.

    We had a spectacular anniversary dinner. They even decorated the table with a candle and rose petals for our celebration. Rebecca T. the bartender/server was amazing! We had such a great time. The food was great as usual and the rest of the staff that took care of us were awesome. We will return.

    Butcher board for 2 is my favorite dish from any restaurant. It's beautiful inside and the staff are very accommodating.

    I made a reservation for 6:30 p.m.at this establishment. My husband and I were not seated until after 7 p.m. We kept hearing from the hostess that she was so sorry for the delay due to overbooking and not enough staff. When I originally made the reservation a few weeks ago, I asked the hostess if I could reserve a table located in the corner of the main dining room since I do not like sitting in the center of a room. When she brought us to our table, it was located dead center in the room. I asked if we could please be moved to a different table which she obliged. The food was good, the service was decent, the ambiance is pretty but the noise level was very loud. Overall, my husband and I were disappointed with how everything played out for the evening. We will not be re-visiting this restaurant again in the future.
