Found what looked to be a cleaning brush bristle in my sushi and almost swallowed the piece of plastic. I placed it on a napkin and let the waitress know only to have it taken away and discussed with nothing said to the table at all? 20 minutes later someone from the kitchen comes to let me know they don’t have anything like that in the sushi area, almost making it sound like they honestly thought I’d brought it with me? If there’s no brushes like that there then it’s probably come from the supplier, which means the sashimi is pre cut? Yes we only got charged for 2 instead 3 people but it put a real dampener on the night, we won’t be going back to Braddon Okami, Mawson is a lot nicer and doesn’t make everyone sit cramped into one area! I don’t understand why Braddon Okami is like that but be prepared to sit in the lap of the table next to you!

We go to Okami either at Braddon or Mawson at least once bi-monthly. For food quality, value and service (and the beef carpaccio) you can't beat it. Lee our lovely waitress was an absolute gem looking after our group of 6 ravenous and rambunctious lads. Thanks as always Okami, we will see you again soon.

It was a second time for my friends and I went there since we love the food and environment but just not easy for parking.
