   We enjoyed returning to Oh lala! The food was delicious, as always! We enjoyed the fig salad, and almost missed the prosciutto wrapped around the leaves of lettuce. Our main dishes were perfection - the curry was delicious and the medallions of beef was delicious! The service is excellent and very accommodating. This continues to be our favorite place to dine for date night in Playa del Carmen.

   This is the second time we dined at Oh Lala and both experiences were great. The food is well-worth the cost - super fresh and really well prepared. The wait staff is really attentive as well. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

    This was our 8th or 9th time to enjoy this place. The food is incredible and the service might even be better. The grilled octopus was incredible again. The beef tenderloin also exceeded expectations. We will return here in 6 months on our next trip

    Hands down the best restaurant in Playa. Every dish, in every course, absolutely incredible. Soy butter tuna, truffle fillet with parmesan, thai curry and mardas curry just some of our favorites. Desserts are delicious. Everything is beautifully presented. The service start to finish is impeccable and friendly. The manager Clara is simply the best. Reasonably priced too!

    Outstanding dining experience!! Clara and her staff gave us exceptional service. The food was excellent. We each had the fillet with bernaise sauce. To celebrate a birthday, Clara surprised us with a magnificent chocolate cake and ice cream to share. This was one of the nicest dinners we have had anywhere. Thank you, Clara!!

    We started with a really nice appetizer, scallops it looked really good then we realized there were only three scallops in the entire dish for 395 pesos, and some mushrooms. It was very tasty but so small. My two piece filet mignon was difficult to cut. My wife had a curry, she said was the most bland curry she had ever eaten. Overall I don’t rate it very highly. That said, the staff is very nice and attentive.

    Sin duda una gran experiencia. El servicio impecable y al detalle, están pendientes pero te dan tu tiempo para ir disfrutando la velada. La carta de vinos variada y completa. La comida estuvo espectacular, incluyendo su presentación, la oferta gastronómica es una interesante combinación de cocina francesa y asiática.     The most wonderful dining experience in Playa. Great food, professional service, and creative cuisine. My only complaint is that wine pricing is very, very high. A 5 times retail mark up is hard to justify. That being said, we continue to dine at Oh Lala year after year and always look forward to an exceptional dining experience

    Wonderful dinner, everything we ordered (duck tacos, burrata salad, scallops, octopus , prawns) was delicious and beautifully presented. The server was very friendly and very professional. Highly recommend for a special dinner away from the crowds on 5th Avenue .

    Food was taken back twice for wrong orders They did not prepare meals at right temps(rare, medium) No communication from staff on what was happening Meals were bought out separate from each other Zero recognition from service staff on what happened I did not think the ambiance was anything special Much nicer places to dine in playa in my humble opinion For such high praise, was incredible disappointed
