    Food was tasty. Good gluten free options. Initial service was good, didn’t wait too long for food. The only negative comment is that the restaurant quickly became busy and seemed understaffed at the front with only 2 staff welcoming and seating diners, taking orders, filling take out orders, serving drinks and food, clearing tables and issuing bills. We waited a while before our server came to our table to pick up our empty dishes and bring us our bill. They certainly were quite busy running around. Food was good though and we were not in a hurry so overall the experience was positive.

    We were in a rush and let the server know and they made sure we got a great meal quickly so we could make it to the show we were going to on time. Food was great as usual, and the server was friendly and helpful.

    We were at first put at a nice table upstairs, then told that a mistake had been made and that we had to sit near the entry door, close to everyone coming and going. This made the birthday celebration less than great, more noisy, and kind of turned me off the whole experience.

    20th anniversary that will not be remembered fondly. I reserved and notified Nuba the reservation was for my anniversary. We were placed in an extremely loud location, the least romantic area of the restaurant. Service was extremely slow. By the time the mains came we were full from bread, were both no longer enjoying the experience and just wanted to leave. Apologies came at the end, with a price reduction on the food. But frankly, this was not enough. If this was a casual dinner, I would be ok with this, but this was supposed to be a special night out with my wife, celebrating our anniversary. Nuba took the wind out of our evening, with extremely bad service, inconsiderate seating, and food that was not worth the wait. With so many great restaurant options in Vancouver, we wont be going back.

    Outstanding middle eastern offerings with great flavours and a plentiful assortment to choose from. Service was barely adequate from a server with limited experience and knowledge. The ambiance and decor requires an overall refresh. Go for the food as it is delicious
