   First you need to try the Zucca Chips for an appetizer. You will be addicted. North Italia is a lunch spot favorite. We have not eaten there for dinner often, but our Saturday night dinner was delish. I had the branzino and it was cooked perfectly. Others in my group were happy with their orders. The service was attentive and friendly.

   Wanted to try this place based on online reviews. Wasn’t bad but want great. The food was delicious, service was ok at best, ambiance was the same. There were some large tables as it was graduation weekend. Not that the restaurant can govern behavior, but one table was playing Heads Up while waiting for their food. The yelling of answers was distracting. The food took a LONG time to come out. Once it did, it was delicious. Would try this place again for sure

   I celebrated my birthday with friends yesterday. Max, my server was excellent. He helped answered all questions about food selections. Every option we talked about were perfect. We are looking forward to coming back and trying another meal.

   We’ve been here several times and really enjoy it. Two of those times we ordered additional food to take to my mom who was staying with my dad at the hospital and she liked the food. We always get nice attentive servers, and even the ones who aren’t our servers treat us as if they are. We’ve sat in a all of the spots, a wide variety of seating and I have to say I’m not a fan of the private event space - when used for dining it just doesn’t have the same ambiance, and the lights are too bright there (they shine down a bit like spot lights when right below them, and they weren’t able to dim them). But I really like the drink menu and always love the dishes here, the side items, small plates, salads… and seasonal updates. We feel like this is often our “go to.”

    Unfortunately this was a terrible meal and experience. To begin my chicken parm ended up tasting very salty and no sauce barely. And the worst part of the meal is that the kitchen is clear and open so you can see in. My girlfreind noticed a waiter hovering over the food as it came out and he literally grabbed a fry from a plate and saw her looking so he ducked down and ate it. This plate he touched ended up being my food. Immediately I told the waitress what we saw and sent the food back. This is something I would never expect from anywhere and it made me feel disgusted. Bottom line is this should never happen so I doubt I will ever return here again.

    I am always leaving this place very stuffed and very happy! I’ve tried almost every entree from the chicken parm (both reg and w/ the spicy vodka sauce, try it!) to the branzino, as well as the beef marsala but you cannot forget the pizzas either! The spicy salami special was DELICIOUS! We added honey on top and it sealed the deal. We also tried the shrimp scampi appetizer as well as the fried eggplant appetizer and they were both out of the park. Ceasar salad is always the move here - the breadcrumbs are a superior topping. The desserts are just something you cannot skip. We had the seasonal Caramel Apple Butter Cake and it did not disappoint. Drinks are always fire, my favs are the pomegranate mule and the espresso martini for dessert. This place is always good, service is always good, and such an amazing ambience as well! A must stop, hands down one of my favs.

    This was our first time. It was very noisy. Service was lacking. Server not personable. Being next to OceanPrime we expected it to have some ambience and upscale feel. The seating was uncomfortable and legs on 2 of the chairs were rocky. We would not come back. I’m sorry.

    My wife and I just moved here from Utah and I needed to find a place for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Since we are new to the area we have only been to a few places and I have to say this place was the perfect place to celebrate. Not only was it our 10 year wedding anniversary we also celebrated me going into remission after battling cancer for the last 2 1/2 years. We ran late and they still held our table. Our waitress was incredible and our food was outstanding. For the price for fresh made food you won’t find a better place. Even their drink menu was great.

    I have eaten at this restaurant several times and booked a luncheon for a friend who was moving to Ohio. Our server was very nice. when the food was delivered, there was a lot of confusion about the orders. It ended up that there were three people who were not served. The others did start to eat because their food was getting cold. The remaining three did get their order fairly quickly. When we requested our checks, our server had problems. I am assuming that our server, Marques D, is new and everyone has some problems when they are new. I tried to use a gift card that I had received on an earlier visit. He told me that there was nothing on the gift card. I just took the gift card back because we had waited so long already. Our server was very nice, but he needs some extra training on how to organize when there is a large party.

    I had always heard good things about North Italia, so I chose to have my birthday dinner there this past weekend. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing and they have a great menu. Some shortfalls were that even though we had notated it was a birthday celebration on the reservation, there was not a single birthday factor added (no birthday dessert, nothing.) Our food took over 45 minutes from ordering to get to our table, and when it got to the table, the pizzas were cold and the crust hard as a rock. However, the burrata and tomato starter as well as the spicy rigatoni were outstanding. It just was not the birthday dinner I had envisioned to have and North Italia fell short.

    One of our new favorites in Orlando. The food is always fantastic, the service is great and knowledgeable - and the space itself is lovely. My only note is that ordering drinks seems to always have a bit of a delay associated so I try to anticipate the wait and order early.

    North Italia is always a great “go to” restaurant for a night out. I decided to try the porchetta which was pretty good. Slightly fatty and the citrus was oddly spicy. My father ordered the same and we were a little taken aback by the unexpected surprise. Was it not good? No. Would I order it again? Probably not. Everything else is always amazing. The truffle bread is delicious! Service was pretty good as well. I’ll always go back to North Italia!

    Everything was good until we were served very rare salmon when we asked for medium. The dish was remade but the expediter insinuated that we were being picky. Then the servers were very scarce. In the end my wife and I ate separately. Not the best couple experience. The food is very good.
