   Entrees came incorrect and had to wait more than 20 mins for our daughters pasta to be re-fired. Our correct side orders never were delivered. Very different from what we’ve come to know and like about Norfolk Seafood

   It was a very good dining experience. Our waiter was covering a large area of customers but somehow was on point with serving everyone with great service. Both of our meals were delicious and the drinks were superb. It set the tone for our outing for the evening. Will definitely be back!!

   Certainly the most bizarre welcoming experience I've had in ages. We arrived without a reservation and we were told no tables were available ... which could not be true as the place was rather empty. Funny fact: I reserved through OpenTable (a slot 15 mnts after we showed up) and we could be seated but not after waiting 15 minutes. Before being sorted, the manager had to run in and told us of the wait "because the first time you came, you did not have a reservation". Ok now sitted, our waitress was nice and tried her best to make our experience pleasant. We could not order the oyster sampler (they had only one kind) and to remove the extra oysters, we also had to wait 15 mnts for the same manager to remove it from the order. Overall, poor welcoming made this place one to avoid at all cost.

   Our entrees were good but felt items on the raw bar (oysters and crab legs) were overpriced. We had our 1 year old grandson with us and hostess did not make us feel welcome. It was a Sunday night and not much else is open in downtown Norfolk. Only 2 other tables of patrons were in the restaurant but service was slow. Waited 20 for our drinks.

    We love Norfolk Seafood Co & Oyster Bar and will continue to patronize it. There was a significant delay in delivery of one of our entrees, which was unfortunate, but still delicious. That's the only reason the overall experience received only 4 stars, despite everything else getting 5 stars.

    Wanted to find a place close to Chrysler Hall to go to dinner after the performance. We were the only ones in the restaurant for most of our dinner. Food was good. Different menu from other places - which was nice.

    We were seated right away. Loved the ambiance. The hostess offered to check our coats for us. The waitresses were very friendly. The food was great.! the crab spring rolls for appetizer and the oscar salmon for my entree which was amazing! It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got the catfish which he enjoyed and said it was also cooked perfectly. We tried two of their cocktails which were tasty also. Definitely a great place for date night and special occasions.

    Very nice restaurant. The entrees were delicious and the service was excellent. Very good value for the money. We tried Key lime pie, creme brule, and Bailey's chocolate mouse for dessert. The key lime pie was much sweeter than expected. We would have preferred the pie to be more tart. The chocolate mouse was very rich. The portion sizes for the pie and chocolate mouse were very large.     As always we enjoyed the Norfolk Seafood Co and Oyster Bar. Our food was delicious. My only complaint, and it wasn't awful, but our service was a bit slow to start. It appeared they may have been short staffed. Once we got waited on everything went smoothly and they were then attentive. We'll be back for sure.

    Seating was terrible, no soap in the restroom downstairs, beef came out over cooked, wife’s Salmon Oscar dry. Waited for them to remake my order, plenty of apologies but no mention of compensation.

    Most of the food was delicious. The sides were lacking. My side of Brussels Sprouts consisted of 3 1/2 total sprouts. The asparagus was not even as thick as a pencil, more the size of a skewer, so they were overcooked, dry with no flavor. Also, the filet mignon was on top of soupy beans. Everything was just wet.

    The ambience and decor was beautiful. The mood lighting was perfect for the occasion. The staff were courteous and our waitress and trainee were great. Food was amazing and the cornbread muffins were a hit with the table. Very please and will be recommending this restaurant to my friends.

    Took 20 mins to get first round of drinks. Ordered another round of drinks while waiting for our dinner to come out and we still didn’t have them by time we finished eating. Ended up canceling them. Drinks and appetizers were good but my entree was underwhelming.

    Our service was not great! One of the first tables to be seated with two people but everyone else got their food prior to my table of two. Oysters were great and would recommend. The portion size of the seafood combination platters not worth it and came out cold and over cooked. I unfortunately probably won’t go back

    Jambalaya was best entree. Veggies were all over cooked. Honestly not a very creative menu and limited fish options for being a seafood restaurant.

    The food was outstanding. We went for my wife’s birthday dinner and our server was great and attentive. The filet was cooked to perfection. My wife had the lobster risotto with scallops and said it was perfect. She also stated the She Crab Soup was the best she’s had. I’m not trying to think of anything negative but I would say if you advertise Valet Parking, you should probably offer that service. Still, that didn’t really hurt a thing, just more of a suggestion
