The eggplant and fresh mozzarella stack was delicious! veal Parmesan is the best in the neighborhood. Grr spot for drinks at the bar and dinner. The pork chop to share Cajun style is great with the slab Of beacon.
Very enjoyable meal. Attentive staff.
Fabulous from start to finish, excellent choices for appetizers and Salads. The Porterhouse for 2 with sides of Brussel Sprouts and Mac n Cheese could not have been better
It took practically an hour to get our food, and it wasn't all that busy at lunchtime.
All around good - food, service, etc. pricey.
If you want a great meal with really good service, make a stop here.
It’s super convenient to MSG and Penn Station.
Edward was fantastic as a server.
Great Blue Points, nice drink selections and the Filet was way better than I expected.
We ate outside 4 of us; the service was excellent had a great and very attentive waiter. The food doesn't meet the standards of a steakhouse; it is just a restaurant that has an over price menu due to touristic location. Food nothing to brag about just ok.
I have to say that this is the best steak I have ever eaten we all had the 8oz fillet with lobster, Amazing it really was
Great steakhouse, arguably the best in New York City. Great food cooked to perfection with great service. I would recommend to anybody especially if they are in the MSG/Macy's area to begin with.
Great quality steak, absolutely delicious. Great pre fix menu for graduation season. Will return.
Great food and service
Simply perfect as always
Great dinner for my graduation celebration!
We were not seated until our entire party arrived, and then was shown to a table in an awful location. After several minutes we were moved to another table. The restaurant was not full the entire night. Not the way I like to start off my evening, especially after being a loyal customer for many years!
I was disappointed to be seated outside. I love being inside at this restaurant, much better service and ambiance.
The service was outstanding. Everyone was very friendly as we really enjoyed our server. The tuna tartare and Oysters on the half shell were fresh and tasty! The filets we ordered we cooked perfectly & tasted amazing. And full of flavor!
We were disappointed in the sides.... The mashed potatoes were cold & flavorless. The mushrooms were good quality but lacked any flavor or seasoning . The mac and cheese was the most disappointing! The cheese sauce was made with some sort of processed cheese product more like Velveeta.
Ill give them a second chance ..
My friend and I had dinner here before going to a concert at madison square garden. Location was perfect as it was right alongside the arena.
I ordered a Margarita and did not like it.... not enough liquor or flavor... to each his own.
I ordered their slab of bacon for an appetizer and thought it was really good! Wish their were more non-seafood options for appetizers as we both do not like seafood.
We both enjoyed the 8oz filet: it was cooked how it was ordered, juicy, and non fatty. I ordered the blue cheese to accommodate it and it was perfect!
Share sizes are huge! We had the mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. I was disappointed in the mac & cheese (reminded me of something that came out of the box).
I had an espresso Martini and it was really good!
Service: Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating! There were 2 other people who helped to serve our food and bus our table. I dont want to say they were lacking the customer service side but made the experience a little awkward. Just non-sociable if i had to describe it.
All in all i thought it was ok but was expecting more for my first nyc dinner!
Perfect spot for a nice meal before going to MSG for a show. Food is excellent, drinks a bit pricey.
Great service all around - from Michelle the hostess to Our waiter Roger - he was the best !
Had dinner before The Who concert. We were served quickly and the food and service were outstanding. Love this restaurant for pre-show dinners.
The food was okay, but the service was way below our expectations. My parents are not very fluent English speakers and the waitress treated them with contempt. Overall experience was not the worst, but we will not be coming back any time soon
The way they handled the bill at the end of the bight ruined the meal for me. I will never return despite an excellent meal and reasonably good table service.
Our waitress was great, appetizers were great, my steak ok. I wasn't amazed.
Great service. Convenient location for MSG events.
Food was just ok. The wedge salad left a lot to be desired - not crisp, lettuce was loose. Steak was way over cooked when we said medium.
The food and service were outstanding! It was better than I thought it would be, as it is right near madison square garden, recommend them highly.
The best steak in New York. Would recommend to anyone coming to NY
The best part of this restaurant is its location - right next to Madison Square Garden. The service is the next best part as it was excellent. The food was mediocre. I had a steak that was not very good - not much flavor and obviously a lower grade. My wife had the salmon which she thought was quite good. Maybe that is the best thing to eat at this steakhouse- skip the steak and go for the fish.
Enjoyed and had the pleasure meeting the governor of N.J The food was what l expected for l have enjoyed and recommend to my friends
The food is incredible and the location couldn't be better being attached to Madison Square Garden. It is a bit pricey but it is New York and the food is incredible.
Our favorite place before a game, even if it was the last NYR game of the season! Food always perfect, service attentive, wine delish. See you in October. LGR
I first came to love N&S’s because of the delightful variety of sauces to accompany the steaks. It was years ago, but it was a distinguishing factor. Currently, there are fewer sauces than there were back in the day.
Other than that, we had an excellent meal. Service was very good and the staff honored my request for a quiet table off on the side. I’d recommend N&S as a place to go even if you are NOT headed for an event at MSG.
It's really expensive and the food wasnt outstanding.
The food was amazing. I was visiting NYC for a few days and my cousins wanted to have steak and this restaurant came up. The pictures looked amazing! The food itself was delicious too! It was just misfortunate that they ran out of ribeye by 8pm on a Saturday night.
Best jumbo lump crabmeat cocktail i've ever had in my entire life!! Great service and hospitality, plus you can dress casual with jeans, nice t-shirt and sneaks if desired. Great filet mignon and lobster tail is phenomenal!! One of my favorite steakhouse ever! 5 star dining without the stuffy attire or atmosphere.
Raul our waiter was fantastic. Food was excellent. A must go to restaurant when visiting Madison square garden.
Great dinner with my family before the Kiss concert. Staff very friendly. Food came out as ordered.
Restaurant could use a facelift food was good service was excellent great location if you are going to the Garden or Penn Station menu had plenty of choices I would recommend this restaurant
Our service was inexplicably very slow. We waited a long time for menus, waited a long time to take our orders, waited a long time for the food, waited a long time for the dessert, waited a long time for the check. The place was half full so i'm not sure what caused the painfully slow service.
the food was good and was fairly priced, our waiters were friendly, good location, good ambiance, just really really slow service.
