What a spectacular find! Such a great location and lovely trendy restaurant. The food was fantastic with VERY large portions! We were a large party of 9 and were very comfortable and well looked after. Our only challenge was that most dishes (appetizers and entrees) required a 2 person minimum to order so there was a lot of negotiating at our table.

I rarely write reviews, but I’m making an exception to prevent others from being fooled. We were a group of 14 people dining at Nessia Paris, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. First of all, the restaurant refused to let us order à la carte and insisted that we take a fixed menu. From the two starter options offered, we were then told that one was “not available,” which is frankly ridiculous when you are forcing a set menu on a large group. The food that arrived had nothing to do with the photos shown in the reviews. It honestly felt as if the fixed menu dishes were prepared not by the chef, but by an intern or someone completely irrelevant to the kitchen. The quality and presentation were far below expectations. The meat that was supposed to be rare arrived well done. When we asked to speak to the chef, the waiter told us that the chef was “busy,” which says a lot about how customer complaints are handled. The most ridiculous part came with the bill. There was an extra surcharge of €116 (around 10% of the total bill). To my surprise, ordering a fixed menu in this restaurant—supposedly to simplify things—actually costs more than ordering the exact same dishes à la carte. In other words, we were penalized for complying with their rules. When questioned, the manager said there is “no common rule.” Apparently, there is also no common sense. Avoid this place for any special occasion or group visit. Very disappointing experience overall

It was so so. The food presentation was beautiful, and food was decent, but I’m not sure the price was worth the higher price of other nearby cafes. Our waiter was very attentive at first, but then it was difficult to get his attention. It was a cute little cafe, but the music didn’t fit for me. It was like a quaint little cafe with club music.

We ordered a dish that according with the waiter they run out of angus meat so they were using wagyu instead. I asked if it was same dish, response was yes. When the bill cane instead of charging 27 euros they charged 59 euros, more than double without advising about it. As we ordered 3 of this same dish the bill cane way higher. If they wanted to change the dish using a different ingredient they must advise about the price impact unless they wanted to get rid off that meat.
