Neighborhood Sushi
Our front door is on the neighborhood facing side, in the Annie Street parking lot. Look for a black-stained door with a white and wood light-box sign. Our host will be waiting inside to welcome you! ADA accessible entry through the Sake Garden on the Congress sidewalk.

One of my favorite meals I’ve had in Austin. Incredible quality, unique hand rolls, and helpful/knowledgeable/quick service! Also great vibe for dinner.
Really good and not so difficult to get into. Enjoyed a quiet evening - easy to hear eachother and great service from the wait staff!
Such a a cute little place off Congress. The food was outstanding. We went in and it was Happy Hour! We had 3 rolls, a tempura platter, edamame, nigiri, sake and beer all for under $100. We will definitely be back.
This is my 3rd visit. I always ask about the specials and have never been disappointed. Their beer is served in the coolest ice cold glasses and the staff are amazing. Remember it’s neighborhood sushi so the entrance is in the parking lot facing the neighborhood
Jorge and the Sushi chefs are the best in the city!
McGuire knows how to blend aesthetics with food and service in such a special way. This place makes Uchi look like a n ordinary restaurant in terms of ambiance and interior design with a food menu that gives Uchi a real run for their money.
Great for vegetarians- the nigiri was excellent
All was great. The lighting was a little darker than I prefer.
Phenomenal dining experience from the moment we walked in.
Back door entrance off street with easy parking by door. Dark and quiet atmosphere, great service and servers, food was delicious, happy hour 25% all menu
I really enjoy Neighborhood Sushi. This was my 5 visit and I've had a very enjoyable experience each time. The food and drinks are top notch and the service is excellent.
Cozy modern vibe with chill atmosphere. Food came out in impeccable timing. Everyone on the staff seemed to flow amazingly as a team being completely helpful & sweet toned. Every dish served melted in your mouth with burst of flavor. We were very impressed for this new sushi spot in SoCo.
Neighborhood Sushi is a hidden gem of Austin! Not only is the sushi amazing, it’s a whole culinary experience. I always asks our servers recommendations and they haven’t missed once.
Food was great and good place to celebrate. Great value if order before 6pm. Good sauces and tempura! Great desserts!
One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Happy girlfriend, amazing food and great service!
Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. They keep their sushi simple and is so fresh it speaks for itself. We will definitely be back.
One of the best sushi spots in town - quality without being over-priced. Love the ambiance, too.
Sushi and Saki were wonderful and service was great.
Great spot! We go there often! Always yummy and awesome service!
Such a great date spot! The food was incredible and the Servers were very knowledgeable and attentive, will definitely be back!
Good, quality sushi. My only negative was the poor advice on how to pair certain dishes. Definitely a step down from uchi but still a great option if you’re willing to spend the same amount of money.
Love love love this place. Service is always outstanding, the food is excellent. We always get the edamame, tempura, and salmon belly nigiri. Great date night spot!
Great, chic and modern place. Lots of vegan options too.
Love staff, had a great time
Great atmosphere, food and service!
As an Austin native- I can confidently say that neighborhood sushi is the best of the best. I highly recommend the grilled edamame, the tempura veggies and the fluke roll- best roll in Austin!! Enjoy!
Great food and even better ambiance.
Definitely not what I expected. Expected more inventive, varied dishes.
New favorite sushi in Austin, cannot recommend enough!
Birthday! Server was great.
I've dined in twice, once during happy hour and once not. I would say going during happy hour is definitely the best deal. The food is fantastic, but they bring out all the sushi pieces at once, rather than coursing it out. Feels a little rushed, and if you're ordering a lot of sushi, then the rice gets cold and the fish warm. Servers are sweet, but not very interactive, and you're paying Uchi sushi prices without the seafood knowledge.
Perfect, in every way
Really a wonderful new spot on SoCo. The outdoor space is perfect and comfortable. The birds nest salad was outrageous- beautiful and delicious. The sashimi served on ice was a piece of art, and more importantly just amazing.
Mediocre at best. The wagyu beef app was the best thing ordered. The sushi rolls were comparable to something you would get at a grocery store. Central Market might even do better. Very unimpressed with this new concept from such a well known group. Spend your money at Uchi.
Another stellar MMH restaurant! I am vegan and there were plenty of opinions for me, all of which were delightful! I look forward to going back.
Best Sushi in town with a neighborhood ambiance! Great Saki and cocktails selection too!
The happy hour here is amazing! The fish is fresh and the rice is seasoned well. Can’t wait to come back!
The quality of the sushi is excellent. Very nice relaxed ambiance with good music.
Unreal quality
Celebrate with mom on purchase of new home.
Everything was Amazing
