What a find!!! Considering we got a last minute booking at 9pm, we could not fault this place! Food was outstanding, service was relaxed and friendly, vibe was great and we honestly could not believe our luck in finding this gem - highly recommended!

What a wonderful dining experience we had at Mr Vain. I took my family here following recommendations and we had a great time. The food is fun, flavoursome and generous. The wine and cocktail selection is great too. Dessert ended the evening on a high. Atmosphere and service are top grade. Will be back!

Astonishing establishment. The design and the vibe of this restaurant are spectacular. The house cocktails are incredible and the wine list is great. The food is absolutely outstanding!!! I can't recommend Mr. Vain enough. It's definitely a must do in Brisbane. Thank you for everything ♥︎

Very very long wait to get food. We ordered few drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. From limited options ( from my memory, 2/3 )of non alcoholic drinks that we ordered, there was only mocktail left, so our guest friend had to compromise and get a lemonade. When we ordered our meals, two of us ordered fish and at least half an hour of ordering the meals, they came back and said that there's only one fish available. So I had to compromise for my guest friend in the group and order something else. It was quite an embarrassing experience as we invited some friends for the special occasion dinner too. We eat from restaurants very often. I never had this experience of not having enough food or drinks to order for a small group of 7. The place wasn't very busy either. Was very disappointed. Have to admit that food quality wasn't poor. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Love the layout of the kitchen, the restaurant and how everything is set up. Impressed by how everything operates, clean, smooth and efficient. Created great atmosphere, which lead to a great night. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced.

The venue is really cool. Nice decor music and animation on the walls.service was good with water topped up , although nobody asked how the food was until the very end. The food was disappointing definitely better Asian fusions around. The pork belly was disappointing soft on the top and chewy throughout not a bit of crisp in sight. Cocktails were a hit.

Loved our dining experience last night! This is my third timing dining at Mr Vain and I loved their new menu. Their cocktails are also exceptional. Looking forward to coming back to try more very soon.

The order in which the food was served was a mess. Raw food was served the last. Most of dishes was too salty that it tasted bitter. that's why I couldn't finished most of dishes. The oyster was gone already and that makes us sick. I was so disappointed and I would never go back again.

It is a beautiful place, the service is remarkable, i loved it. The food is amazing, but the big surprise was the wine. It was a treasure! Great wine options available. Please advise that the social media posts are no reality related.

There was a mix up with our booking and unfortunately sat for an hour before someone checked about our order! Staff were very apologetic. We thought it was strange people were being served who arrived after us. Anyway food and ambience was good.

Absolutely delightful experience. Fabulous service, atmosphere, music! Cabbage was a little fibrous and octopus a tad dry, but that is the only negative, and nitpicking. Would not stop me recommending this restaurant at all! And we will definitely be going again!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Amazing dining experience! Definitely has that 90’s New York vibe. The service was excellent, well timed, friendly and informative with questions regarding the menu. The cocktail list has many fabulous options. We enjoyed “the tino” and the negroni plum & yuzu. The Korean fried Wollemi duck deserves a special mention, as does the exceptional 72hr cooked Cape Grim short rib, rendang, lemonade fruit. For dessert the coconut es buah, wattle seed, guava, passion fruit, frozen Vegemite ( don’t be put off by the Vegemite) is a flavour sensation. Will definitely be returning to experience more of the menu or just for that short rib again. Highly recommend

Great little treasure in the Valley. Food was amazing, service great, music was a little loud for talking at table, and I found it hard to hear our waitress, but overall it was a great experience.
