   Excellent service and food. Fried Green tomatoes and fried oysters had just the right crispy coating, as did the fried okra. Loved the sauce with the fried green tomatoes.

   Shucks has always been one of our favorites. We moved out west and haven’t been able to eat there in a year so when we came to GA for a visit, Shucks was at top of list of places to eat. It was fresh and delicious as usual! Love the new look of dining area, it now matches how good the food and service is! Awesome job guys!

   My food was drowning in butter. I did not enjoy it. I would not recommend this restaurant as a result. When I told the waitress, she ignored me.

   We had shrimp, oysters and snapper. The oysters were ok but VERY expensive, the fried shrimp were cold and the snapper was also VERY expensive and my husband didn’t like it. The coleslaw was very good The bill for two people no desert was over $70. We won’t be going back

    Mr. Shucks came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was outstanding. We ordered the fried shrimp meal and the low country shrimp feast which were both delicious. The servings are quite generous, so come with an appetite! I would say that the hush puppies were some of the best we’ve ever eaten.

    The restaurant was recommended by a friend who grew up in the area. We were able to make reservations online through Open Table and were greeted and seated upon arrival. Jenni was our host. She has an infectious smile, and a welcoming spirit. She anticipated our needs and brought out samples of their famous garlic shrimp. We were floored by how delicious they were! Jenni then explained menu items and made recommendations. I had the Miss Shuck's Feast, my husband had the shrimp platter, and the teens had the shrimp baskets (one blackened and one Buffalo). Everyone was more than satisfied with the serving sizes that the taste was out of this world! The icing on the cake was the warm bowl of water with lemons to wash our hands in! Talk about exceptional service! Jenni took care of us and made us feel at home! We even made room for dessert the teens devoured the funnel cake fries and the husband and I enjoyed Grandma Shuck's pound cake! This dinner was the highlight of our trip to St. Simons Island. The 15 minute drive was worth it to support a black owned business and to enjoy amazing food and exceptional customer service. We will be back!!

    Celebrated My Daughter’s 21st Birthday Yesterday At Mr. Shuck’s Seafood. It Was Our First Time, but Definitely Not Our Last! The Atmosphere Was Amazing and The Food Was Above & Beyond Expectation! We Ordered Several Items From The Menu, and Everything Was Amazing! My Mom is A Picky Eater, but She Gave Mr. Shuck’s “Five Stars”! She Bragged About The Food All Evening! The Staff Was Top Tier As Well! Thanks For Making My Daughter’s Birthday One For The Books!     We waited for 15 minutes before a server came to our table. The restaurant was crowded, busy, and noisy. The food isn't bad, but average. The menu features blue crab, but the restaurant did not have any.

    Mr. Shucks is a hidden gem. I was in Jekyll Island for a conference and found Me Shucks. OMG I am glad I did. The seafood is so fresh, customer service is as good as a 5 star restaurant. The owner was there and came by our table with a glass of wine on the house. Try the oysters and the blue crab.

    We traveled from Jacksonville because we saw some instagram photos of this place. It was easy to check in. They were very quick in getting us seated. The staff was very friendly especially our waitress. She was nice and patient with us. Our food was amazing. The crab legs were huge and very meaty. Ms. Shucks Seafood Feast was my favorite. The fried shrimp were really good as well. Everyone at the table tried the fried egg and we were delighted with the Buffalo sauce. Over all it was a great experience. The service was great and the food was amazing 10/10!!!

    Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Service was also good as we were greeted and served by friendly staff. Smooth jazz in background was nice setting. Prices were very reasonable for quality and portion sizes. It was our first time visit and we would definitely return when near Brunswick.

    Traveling. Great stop for some great food. Mr. Shucks was in the process of remodeling and expanding, but it did not interfere with the experience. Hope to stop there again if we travel near Brunswick, GA.

    We found the restaurant online, and the menu attracted us despite not advertising cocktails - which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The owner's wife makes the hushpuppies and the cole slaw is not prepared until the order is given. We met the owner and the entire experience was magical

    I came across Mr. Shucks on IG and thought…5 hours is a ways for fried Crab BUT God saw fit that I received a free stay and it was 12miles from his restaurant!! I tried almost EVERYTHING off the menu and the owner was there making sure the guests were taken care of! The fried buffalo eggs were delicious and the Oysters were the best I’ve tasted! Definitely worth it and I hope to return again!!
