   Mosaic is one of my favorite restaurants because of the ease of making reservations, the variety of menu items, the delicious food, and the ambience. I've always had a good experience.

   My only complaint was that there was a couple of flies constantly flying around at our table. Also, the bathroom floor was wet and didn't look clean.

   We were most disappointed! A week ago, we went to Mosaic for lunch. The restaurant was fairly full, but nevertheless, the service and food was pretty good. So, we decided to return last night for dinner and took a guest. We had reservations and were promptly seated, FOR I5 MINUTES! No wait staff approached, and the hostess who was about 10 feet away, stayed busy on her phone. So, we got up and left. The hostess apologized, but that was too little too late. It appeared that Mosaic may have had only two wait staff, one for outside who seemed very busy, and another inside that never seemed to notice that we were seated and waiting. But that should never be an excuse. We will think hard and long before we return.

   Good solid food, but busy and loud inside so sit outside if possible. Great for lunch although I see people there for breakfast

   We had lunch at Mosaic the other day. I had their 1/2lb. hamburger and my wife had a fancy salad. My burger was cooked just I asked, pink in the middle and it was quite tasty. My wife's salad was, according to her, excellent. She even finished all of that large salad. Our server who was also tending the bar, did a great job of keeping our drinks refilled and answering questions that we had. All in all, Mosaic is a very nice place to eat.

   From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The hostess was friendly. Our special table was ready in the back with the double sofas for a private business meeting. The server was excellent. She greeted us and was aware of our needs without interrupting inappropriately. The food was delicious and prompt. Definitely a Five Star rating in our opinion!

   Over the last three years we have been increasingly impressed by the service and the quality of the food at Mosaic, which is becoming a favorite restaurant of ours. We like the mix of younger and older people and families among the clientele. The restaurant is very attractive, but the noise level grows uncomfortable when the restaurant is nearly full.

   Sat toward back just beyond bar. Place filled up fairly rapidly and became very very loud. Hard to have a conversation at our table. Must sit in front by windows or outside if you want a quieter meal.

    The food was overcooked, the portions very small and the prices very high. In all whoever was running the restuarant that nite did a poor job. The people at the table next to us sent their food back and we should have done the same. Not gonna be back for awhile if at all.

    It was a fantastic dinner and the waitress was charming. Our food almost identical was done to perfection. I’ve missed not being able to go more often as I no longer live in the area! It was a special treat 😁

    We hadn't been there for a while. Menu was very brief with few choices. I reserved a high top, but we were seated at a lower table near the door. It was very cool in there because it had been a cool day. It wasn't crowded, but I think there was only one waitress and she was working hard! She was very pleasant, efficient and everything was good with her. It was interesting...won't be back there anytime soon.

    Today I enjoyed the grilled Caesar salad with salmon as my protein. Delicious! Caesar dressing was quite tasty! Mosaic Cafe never disappoints!

    As usual, this was a delightful lunch, with great food and service, in a pleasant atmosphere. I had the fried green tomato BLT, which was delicious and enough for two meals. Can't wait to go back.

    The French toast listed on the on line menu was not available. It was supposed to be with yogurt and berries. The server said they are under new management and not offering that anymore. I got plain French toast with no fruit at all and it was cold. I will not return.

    We have been to Mosaic many times, but will rethink our next visit. The hostess was surly and unpleasant. The waiter was very nice and friendly, but checked on us surprisingly few times during our 2 hour meal. We definitely would have ordered more drinks had he been more attentive. And the lack of service was surprising given that the restaurant was far less than half full. The food is very good, but we would probably not go back again until the service improves.

    Mosaic used to be an almost weekly local gem to visit for dinner or Sunday brunch. The menu which used to be seasonally creative is now stale, the prompt service is now lackluster with little sense of urgency, and lately items on the menu are not available. The staff appears to have high turnover with limited knowledge of the menu. We cannot be the only local customers noticing this, as the business level has dropped considerably. The restaurant is in an awesome location, but food and wine selection,and service quality, has become average at best.

    We had a wonderful server but service was a bit slow, and the restaurant was definitely NOT crowded. Normally I would not have thought anything of it but I was with an elderly friend who tires easily, and it felt as if we had a lot of wait time especially for the check. Maybe just remind servers that when they have older customers they may need to get food out and tab to the table promptly? Thank you.

    Two of three meals were fine. One was semi-disappointing. Service was OK, but inattentive wait staff at times. Could not get a second glass of wine, until I was ready to pay the check, which showed a second glass. Waiter removed the charge. The dessert situation was odd - zero items with chocolate. Spouse was disappointed. Not the end of the world.

    The menu was completely different than what was online when we made the reservation. We would have gone elsewhere if we had known. The food was pretty good, but nothing special and not worth the ~$20 per brunch entree. The service was the best part, she was friendly, helpful and offered beverage refills without being asked.

    Greek Salad was a pile of chopped Romaine, a couple of Cherry Tomatoes and a sparse scattering of Cucumbers and Kalamata Olives. Did not see any Feta. A very uninteresting and unsatisfying salad. The Brussel Sprouts appetizer was delicious. If I go again, I may just have those and a glass of wine.

    We were called on time for our reservation. Though our host indicated a longer than usual wait for meals because they were short one chef, out food was served within a reasonable amount of time, fresh and delicious. There was an error with our bill but it was immediately corrected with a smile and apology.

    Stunned by the new prices and menu. Thin paper menus with typos. No toast included in breakfast food and 1 slice of toast was $5.00!! Absurd. Only 2 lunch items on menu, the rest breakfast food which was what our party wanted. But to not include toast? We were told upfront that the kitchen was short staffed and our food would take a while to arrive. We were ok with that but the waitress did not come back to freshen our coffee until the food came out. Coffee price also steep. Is this under new ownership? Will not go back. Have always loved the restaurant but did not have a good experience on Sunday, March 26th. Bonnie Willard
