    Awesome experience. The steps Mortons took to ensure my son's 13 year birthday celebration was a memorable one is second to none. From the photo to the desert and bis name listed on the menu was the best.

    Sorry but not worth our time. Sadly it was not as great as in past years. We had fond memories of our family dinners there during the holidays. Took over 3 hours. Yes we had a large group but we never take that long at any fine dining restaurant including desserts. Servers were friendly, tried to accommodate, but drinks were slow coming with an error in a flight order, the food just ok, not as expected, not hot, but kitchen prob couldn’t keep up. Seemed understaffed. We also would have liked the table in private room for our group (which was open and next to us) instead of right in front of kitchen cooking counter. Quite loud and warm there. Could hear manager yelling at cooks. Not a fan this time.

    Thanksgiving feast reservations were made a month in advance. I was called twice to confirm our party of six wanted the turkey dinner for $55 pp. Upon arrival we were seated one hour late. There were no turkey dinners left. Only option was the steak dominated menu. Nothing Thanksgiving traditional. The check was more than double the price and we did not have salad, any sides or dessert that we would have had with the turkey dinner. Yes, the entrees (with no side) were excellent but I genuinely couldn’t afford the unexpected price. It was a holiday and I had my family together and there was no way to get into another restaurant. The service was poor too. Other customers were complaining to the manager while we were waiting for our table. They did not satisfy their patrons this evening.

    Understand that Thanksgiving is a busy day for restaurants. However: 1) Took 30 minutes to receive our drinks 2) no bread was served 3) meals arrived before salads 4) turkey meals did not receive any gravy Just very disappointed- especially as a Landry Club member

    As other diners have mentioned, Morton’s has a service issue especially on holidays. In our case, I do not fault the servers as it seemed to be much more of a management problem: Too many tables and not enough servers. We waited 10 minutes to get the menus and then didn’t receive the special Thanksgiving menu. We had to ask for that about 10 minutes later. We did get bread and water very quickly, which was good since we were hungry. Our salads, which were delicious, arrived about 45 minutes after we were seated. Our entrees arrived another 45 minutes after that. We had the Thanksgiving menu and the turkey was dry, the mashed potatoes boring, the corn dish strange, and the presentation seemed half-hearted. After our entree plates were cleared it was at least a half-hour before our desserts, which were good, arrived. In all we spent 2.5 hours for a meal that could have nicely been completed in at most 1.5 hours. Of course, that slow service meant tables were not available for later reservations so there was quite a crowd waiting for tables when we left. Through it all the servers remained cheerful, but strangely oblivious to the fact that we sat for long periods of time without any food in front of us. It was not an experience I’d like to repeat.

    Asked for medium well filet and received a lot of char on top of steak they stated that’s because of the open fire that the chiefs cook on which wasn’t stated before ordering. Returned meal and asked for a medium filet instead and came out without char and was very delightful. Menu size was overwhelming and took up majority of the table. (Hit wine glasses a couple of times). Overall good experience. Had better experiences for similar prices. (Bill was $294).

    Although we had a nice server., we had to ask for Bread and it took a while to get. Food took longer to come out. Server did everything she could to make it a nice experience but since covid, it hasn’t been the same.

    Steak was chewy, Brussels sprouts were a 4 out of 10. Waiter was very nice and had great customer service skills but the food was not very good, not his fault I would give him a 10 out of 10.

    A definite 10/10 for the food. The restaurant was just a bit too dark. We loved the dim lights but just a bit more light would have been great. My request for a personalized menu for my husband’s birthday was not originally done as promised. I had to ask for it while dining. Otherwise we were attended to very well and with much patience. I highly recommend the lobster bisque, the crab cake and the Cajun Ribeye.

    My recent rating was rated because we sat in the bar area. We were grateful to get a table on “Sweetest” day) it was louder and more energetic than sure a table inside would have afforded. Good service but we did wait a long time for our entree.

    I’ve ate here before and it was great, this time around it could’ve been better. The steaks were great!! The sides weren’t anything special and that’s my favorite part. The Brussels sprouts had no seasoning and she said there was going to bacon on them and there wasn’t.

    Our waiter was excellent, courteous, and professional. All the food was outstanding. The only thing detracting from the experience was a young child screaming and crying one table over. In my opinion, Morton should have a rule of no children under age 8.

    As always, Matt and his team went above and beyond. The food was amazing and the service was top-notch. This was a business meeting, conversations went long and we lost track of time.     WOW! Can't believe the Power Hour selections are so fantastic and affordable AND available from SUNDAY through Thursday. We sat in the lounge and enjoyed a couple of glasses of their house-wine pours. Do not miss the Shrimp Louie Lettuce Wraps, Filet Sliders or twin Lamb Chops.
