Teppanyaki (also known as Hibachi) is a style of Japanese cuisine where you able to experience the excitement of having the chef create a tantalizing meal before your eyes on a hot iron plate. We are only the second Morimoto, in the world, to offer this style of dining.

Our server was very helpful and friendly. The Whitefish Carpaccio was delicious. However, the sushi was basic and bland, yet cost more than any sushi we’ve ever had.

Always a good dinner at Morimoto. It’s not an intimate setting, but the food and service is always spectacular. The himachi tacos and gyoza are must have for appetizers!!

Hands down some of the best fish we have eaten in a while. The service was even better. Our waiter also recommended a desert that we would have never picked and we are both still talking about it. Loved this place and will definitely be back.

In a word, exquisite! The noodles in pork broth were so good! We enjoyed the dragon roll as well as the tiger roll. Service was great and the server helped us through the menu. It's going to be hard to enjoy our usual sushi spot after this. Next time we are at MGM we will definitely have Morimoto's again.

Air conditioning was far too cold. Air blowing on our table really diminished the experience.

We sat at the bar, and ordered drinks, appetizers, and dinner. The only complaint I have is that the cumin flavor on the chicken was overwhelming. The gyoza, and the rest of the food, was delicious.

A Nightmare at Morimoto, MGM Grand Vegas – Avoid at All Costs I’m beyond disappointed. Last night was my wife’s birthday, and I made the terrible mistake of choosing Morimoto at MGM. We frequented the Manhattan location, but this was an absolute disaster. The hostess was incompetent. Despite the restaurant being half-empty, we waited over 10 minutes for a table we had reserved. Her attitude? Rude and dismissive, saying “I was just about to call you” after I had to complain. The real kicker was the service. Our waiter blatantly lied about the spice level of the Spy Short Ribs. “Not spicy at all,” he claimed. Wrong. They were so fiery I couldn’t take a single bite. And did they offer to take it off the bill? Of course not. The disregard for customer satisfaction was astonishing. This place ruined what was supposed to be a special evening. Mediocre, unprofessional, and utterly forgettable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant. You’ll thank me later.

Sadly some of the worst sushi we’ve had in years. We saved this for our last night of our trip as we love sushi. We stopped eating about halfway and went for pizza after. Still was 280$ for two. Service was good, drinks were good, but the sushi was literally no better than grocery store. My wife and I love sushi and are really not insanely picky about ambience as long as the fish is good. We are big on sashimi so we ordered a platter and out of about 9 different pieces of fish. We had one bite that was good. The others were very bland and no flavor. We ordered a spider roll. Which came out shockingly fast but the crab part which was deep fried was cold. ?? That with taste made us wonder if this was premade. This is what I would expect from a rough strip mall sushi joint. But when they charge 14.99 per bite for sushi this was just infuriating. Perhaps they were having an off night.
