   We eat carnivore most of the time, and Moot House is one of the only places in town where "medium rare" actually means "medium rare." The brie and bacon burger is yummy, even without a bun! Chris was our server, and he was fabulous- just the right amount of attention, and on a Friday night during the dinner hour, too. I did cheat and have Lemon Drop- I'm human- and that was the right amount of sweet and tart. We'll be back!

   Okay, not great, not terrible. The happy hour menu and prices are good, so recommend visiting during the week 3-6pm. Mixed drinks were watery and not very tasty, so stick with the beer. Food portions and prices were good off the HH menu. Seems like a place that has declined but is hanging in there. Menu has variety but not a lot of options in each category, and many of the dishes are pretty heavy (fried, breaded, meaty). Basically, an okay place for a meal if you're not looking for anything unique or particularly special, just solid. We were celebrating a birthday and did mention it in the reservation and to our server but there was no recognition. (Not seeking anything free, but a candle or some other "happy birthday" would have been nice.)

   I used to live in Fort Collins and the Moot House was always a "go to" place for taking guests. It's nice to see that they haven't lost their touch. Food was excellent (huge portions), service was even better. Really enjoyed a great meal in a place that I hold dear to my heart.

   Generally love the Moot House. We had two kids meals and last time they came with ice cream dessert. This time they didn’t. Have no idea why but, of course, kids were disappointed. Overall, meals were good, service was excellent and staff was kind to the kids. Would appreciate a few lower price options on the lunch menu if you don’t want a lot of food. And a senior menu would be appreciated.

   The food and service were excellent. I had one issue though. I received an email from them reminding me to use my $20 holiday bonus. They didn’t tell me that the bonus is for those who bought a $100 gift card. Very deceiving. So they would not accept my $20 bonus. Not right.

    The atmosphere is nice and cosy--old world pub style, but classy. We were sat near the fireplace, which was very nice. I had the pork schnitzel and my girlfriend had the meatloaf. Both were delicious! The waitress was friendly and attentive.

    Took my family and grandkids to lunch after a swim lesson. Food was outstanding. Week prepared and excellent taste. All plates were clean. Appreciate the kids menu. The dessert for the kids menu was an unexpected treat. Will definitely go back.

    Not the moot house I remember. Where’s the big fireplace room? The quality was just so so. The fish and chips was average , especially the “chip”. Pretty boring. They were really busy and our waitstaff was just ok I might try again for different menu item but…..this visit was disappointing

    We split two appetizers and each had two beers. Nice variety of microbrews. The wedge salad was just okay and really small, but the calamari was good. Our server was nice, but disappeared for what seemed like a long time so we had to leave the table to ask the hostess for our check.

    Our previous trip to the Moot House was an epic horror show, so it was with trepidation that we made this reservation. All went well. The service was excellent, and the food was what we expected (we have been coming here for eighteen years.) They have trimmed the menu slightly from what it was, but the prices are still moderate, and the service is energetic. The group that owns this place knows how to run a store.

    My husband cannot stand without assistance and needs a wheelchair. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. He absolutely loves the pork schnitzel ... I love the salads. We first ate at the Moot House in approximately 1997. It was great then and only gets better and better.

    The pumpkin spice beer from voodoo ranger was excellent! We started with the pretzels app couldn’t stop eating them, I had the fish and chips absolutely perfect , my husband had the New York strip ate every bite. Service was friendly and not lacking at all. My hubbie ordered the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and enjoyed it. We’re visiting from Morrison CO and will definitely come back to this restaurant! Highly recommend!

    Food is OK here, nothing great but ok and dependable. They no longer have their famed peanuts. (And should remove them from their marketing material.) Good beer selection.. Waitstaff always friendly and efficient.

    Good happy hour but the restaurant has poor air flow/filtration and smelled like fish the entire time we were there. Not a good place for vegetarians. It was also a lot brighter than it looks in pictures with a bright lamp in your face in the middle of the booth. Booths were great & very private. Service was perfect.

    Not what I remember. Prime rib down to only two nights per week. Red meat de-emphasized. Only five or so sides. Used to be a nice place to go for a nice dinner. Now so so. Sad.

    Overall good experience with a small challenge. I hadn't been here in about eight years and had been wanting to come again. We were sat promptly and attended to quickly. When we went order my date ordered the burger...they were out. She was offered the buffalo burger and ordered that. I ordered the NY strip...out. Tried to order chicken fried steak...out. Settled for their sirloin steak, which is sliced like it's going on a salad. I didn't know this and I'm not a fan of that. We dined on a Sunday so they were out of stuff and I get that. I think it would've been very helpful if the hostess simply shared with us what they were out of so we could make a decision before our order is taken and we are put on the spot. Aside from this the place was clean and the staff was friendly.
