The food and service were spectacular! The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating. I was blown away by the food and inventive flavor combinations.
The dinning course was awesome, the food was delicious and elaborated. But we were really expecting more from “the experience” itsef. The service was really bad, totally not focused on the client. It makes no sense. We had much better experiences in other similar restaurants. We won’t come back.
Excellent adventurous food, great wine, and great service.
Everything was great
If they carried halal meat it would have been perfect
Fabulous! The food and service were wonderful
Great overall experience. The staff was amazingly friendly and did a great job!
Holiday / special birthday
Second time at Ko, always an amazing experience. Amazing food, and service. Loved the music selection the day we ate there too (Weezer blue album 👍🏽).
Food was out of this world!
Only weak point was the porchetta. Otherwise a fabulous evening. We'd been trying to get a res for years.
What a tremendous experience. The food and service were fantastic. Manager Su and beverage manager Arthur are at the top of their game. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the kitchen team expertly putting together each of the fourteen (yes fourteen) courses.
Serving this many courses takes a high level of skill. In addition to maintaining a timely flow of food - the menu also has to flow - service has to also flow. Momofuku’s team does this expertly combining great culinary skill with warm approachable service.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
Great balance between food, ambiance (music) and seatings all arround the kitchen. The beverage are very well selected and match the surprising cuisine.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Momofuku Ko. The food was creative and delicious, the service knowledgeable and gracious.
AMAZING! Hands down the best meal I have ever had. Its a must if you are in New York. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Everything was amazing! Best restaurant, the end.
Excellent service and excellent value. We got 14 dishes overall, not including a palate cleanser and a take home dessert, as well as a complimentary glass of wine for our anniversary. I enjoyed many of them and the ones I didn't were more of a personal preference in terms of flavor rather than any quality issue. The servers were so attentive (sometimes I didn't even notice they had taken my plate away) and the chefs were busy but not rushed, allowing a calm atmosphere for them to concentrate on each plate. I loved the open kitchen which allowed us to see everything. Everybody was very competent. Ambiance could fit into casual or fancy occasions.
The food and service were beyond my expectation, and when I say "services", I mean everyone from the server, manager, chefs and sommelier who made us feel like VIPs. While I generally prefer to dine at the bar versus in a table seating situation, this experience was especially enjoyable because we were able to see all the "action" and to interact with all the chefs. Really great experience.
Phenomenal tasting menu, unique and fresh dishes. Wait staff is attentive, friendly and professional.
All the courses were excellent. We will certainly come back.
The desserts that weren't ice cream could be improved though. I don't know if it's possible but to have 2 options of desserts would be amazing. I understand that always being surprised is probably best but to have a choose your journey for the desserts could elevate the experience.
The meat, pork and fish entrees were superb. I forget the name of the dish but it came after the steak. That was our least favorite. I assumed it was to cleanse the stomach for the rest of the courses but we felt it lacked that wow factor that the other dishes offered.
Thank you for an experience though! Can't wait to come back.
disappointment! The restaurant is very nice and cool, the service too cold, a few words, a few smiles and few explanations. Eating unfortunately too normal. Few contrasts and few flavors. We will not return.
Absolutely outstanding. The food, the service, the ambiance was the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back.
This was our most special dinner ever! Yes, I did have to sell my left kidney to afford it, but is was sooo worth it!
Excellent dinning experience. Fantastic food and service.
Amazing experience! The service is as good as it can be, everyone is smilling and making sure you're evening is going well. The chefs in the middle section are talking to you and explaining every dish. It's a little on the expensive side, but it's worth going at least once in your life!
We had an unforgettable experience sampling the tasting menu at Ko. The counter seating enabled us to watch as the chefs prepared a range of dishes -- some (like the honey dusted fried chicken), playfully postmodern, others (like the sea urchin and chickpea) straightforward flavor bombs -- allowing us to enjoy then with both our eyes & taste buds.
this was most definitely a wonderful experience. the service was impeccable and not having to choose from a menu made the meal stress free and we got a sampling of everything.
Omg! Everything about this place is more than expected! The food was tasteful, different and delicious. The staff were more than nice. And to sit at the counter (highly recommended) was a great experience in itself to see how they prepare the food. They work like a well oiled machine. I couldn’t be happier with our meal. A MUST DO IN NYC!!!
Amazing service overall. Will absolutely be going back to Momofuku Ko!
Every dish was inspired, delicious, and perfectly balanced on its own and within the context of the full menu. One of the best dining experiences of my life.
Besser geht nicht!
Went with a friend who is celiac and despite making this exceptionally clear to staff was fed something containing gluten as was violently ill!
Perfection. Service. Ambiance. Food.
Momofuku Ko is a must. The experience was amazing. The staff was extremely kind and the chefs were very professional.
Great culinary experience! Interesting combinations, beautiful presentations and excellent service
A unique experience. Given the level of attention to detail in the food and service, I wouldn't call it unreasonably expensive, especially since service is included. Not only is the service included, there isn't even a make-you-feel-guilty tip line in the credit card receipt; a nice touch. The only complaint I had, and it's a small one, is that the by-the-glass red wines were served too cold. But I would recommend this place to any fellow foodies without reservation.
Amazing food and service. Made us feel special on our anniversary
There were some service mix ups, and overall the experience didn't live up to the price tag. It's a shame as I've been to Ko many times, and in the early years the restaurant experience really blew me away. For a time, it was my favorite restaurant in the city. But the last couple of visits have left me disappointed. It's not that it's a bad meal, everything is fine, but not memorable and just not special enough to warrant a $700 price tag for 2 people.
We did the tasting menu paired with beverages. Everything from each bite of food and each sip of cocktail/wine/beer to the service to the interaction with the chefs was truly spectacular.
Absolute flames. Everything was on point, no negative things to say except that you do get really full, which is awesome. So much detail and care in preparation and presentation
The meal was amazing. Very memorable. The wine pairing option though was not very good value. The wines and sakes themselves were excellent. It was just extremely small portions. I'd estimate less than an ounce for most of them. At $195 each you would be better off ordering a really nice bottle of wine and some nice sake for the table.
It was an unforgetable experience with very kind stuff, a wonderful atmosphear and amazing tasty beautyful artpieces dishes.
