Our luncheon experience in the bar area was exceptional thanks to the wonderful server (sorry don't catch her name). Service was outstanding and food delicious as always. Our only complaint was the noise level of the music. In the more than 15+ years I have been enjoying Mitchell's this has been an on going annoyance. My guests and I usually enjoy a conversation without straining to hear or constantly asking for repeats because of the excessive background noise.

We love Mitchell's in Livonia. It is our go to place. The food is excellent and the service is WONDERFUL. We especially enjoyed our server, Rachel. She was very attentive and friendly; She truly made our dining experience an A+ rating. She was GREAT. Also, our cocktails were also AMAZING. VERY delicious. All in all, A+ to Mitchell's Livonia! We'll be back!

Alaina our Server was spectacular. Attentive but not rushing us. The food was excellent. We haven’t been to Mitchell’s in a long time preferring local restaurants, however we’re glad we visited today.

We had a wonderful server, Angela, who was very attentive and efficient. This time (and for the first time) our food was mediocre at best. My grilled salmon was surprisingly dry and my husband's Tri-selection (shrimp, salmon and a crab cake) platter was not done well (shrimp was actually dry as was the salmon). My sister's pan fried Tilapia (which was not recommended as a way to prepare it - she insisted) was the best dish on the table and cooked perfectly. Salads and sides were good. We usually meet my sister at this restaurant when we are in town but are inclined to go elsewhere in the future - it was that disappointing.

We sat outside. We had 1:00 reservations. At 2:45 we walked in to pay the bill. We should have left however we wanted to eat and celebrate an anniversary and birthday. I have never had such poor service.

The service was exceptional. Waitress was very attentive and engaging. There were seven of us....everyone was very pleased with their dinners. It was an outstanding dining experience. Everything was fresh and well presented.

While the soup, salad and main entree were absolutely fantastic—as well as the service—we were disappointed with the dessert special. It was a lemon poppyseed Bundt cake and cost $11.00. We got it to go. It was quite small and for the price we were expecting something wonderful but it was only okay. We have had their other desserts and they were a much better value!

Had lunch with 2 colleagues and all 3 of us had a fantastic lunch. My Ahi tuna rice bowl was delicious and would definitely order again. The service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Thank you!

We ate outside on a beautiful evening. Our server was relatively new and made a few mistakes. Hopefully she’ll learn from them. We had the stuffed cod and planked salmon. Both were delicious. I really miss the ruby red trout on the menu.

Made a reservation and still waited 30 minutes to be seated. Ordered appetizers, entrees, and dessert — each course took at least 20 minutes to come out, and none of the food was good enough to be worth the wait. I’d heard good things about this restaurant but sadly was disappointed in the food quality and overall experience.

Last minute we decided to eat at Mitchell's and had reservations for 7:30 PM. We arrived early and noticed there was a few seats open at the bar which They accommodated us for seating. The bartenders, Kirstin and Sokur were very attentive and courteous. Our meals were great! I had the See Bass and my wife had the Tuna. We finished it off the meal with the Sharkfin dessert. It's a big portion so beware.

We have been there many times, but last night the service was terrible. The waiter forgot to bring one of us soup. We had to ask 3 times before he brought iot at the same time as dinner. Our food was cold!!! Especially the soup

I had the walleye- it was a small piece- not great- and had some bones. My husband had salmon- small piece and he left hungry:( I’m from Western Michigan- and Walleye macchiato better, bigger and fresher tasting Not eager to return

We had two servers! Hated to give up the first one, but grew to really enjoy the second one just as much. Both are very industrious young women who will be very successful as they progress through life. Our dinners were excellent and the Carrot Cake, outrageously delicious! Our birthday celebration was very nice and we had a great time!
