My friends and I had a birthday to celebrate. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It will be a go to in the future. Ambiance quiet and comfy we stayed for a long time and we all left smiling.

Our waiter Caesar was fantastic! My linguine with white clam sauce was outstanding and the risotto was also delicious! The food was quite good but the service was over the top! I would recommend highly and will be going back 4.75 stars!

I didn’t get a chance to eat, do the wait, and super rude host (wouldn’t surprise me if he wasn’t the owner) dressed in a tuxedo. There was a couple ahead of my Fiancé and I, so I asked if they given the host their name, and the gentleman reply yes. So, when the host returned, I went to give him my name, he snapped and told me to wait like everyone else. I step back, and waited. 10-15m later, in which now there’s 4-5 couples waiting to be seated. The host asked who’s next, so I walked back up. He asked my name and reservation time, and I told him. He said I didn’t have a reservation, so I tried to show my open table reservation, he said that it doesn’t matter what I have, if he doesn’t have it! I just walked out, a waste of time and gas all for nothing. So, I guess your app is not recognized at their restaurant…….

When you bring your child under 5 to dine please learn how to discipline and teach them manners. Even Grandparents condoned the behavior. Stay home. One table ruins the evening for the entire restaurant full of guests.

Had 6:45 reservations and wasn’t seated to almost 7:30. Service was a bit slow but they did fill our waters consistently. Most of our steaks were okay. My rare steak was closer to med rare. Eating a filet and getting flavorless homemade potato chips as a side was a bit embarrassing. The greens were good but we didn’t get much. The shrimp cocktail and fried calamari were delicious. The chicken Vesuvio was dry as were the potatoes which was most likely due to being under a heat lamp. Bananas Foster was really good. Drinks were so so. Overall waitstaff were very nice, appetizers and desserts were really good

What a hidden gem! We were looking for a late lunch spot and Maribella did not disappoint! Highly recommend the grilled calamari (perfectly charred, not chewy, great seasoning and sauce) and the rigatoni that I’ll be dreaming of for weeks along with the massive portion of chicken Mirabella. Service was wonderful and the entire wait staff made us feel welcome and cared for. We can’t wait to come back.

We live near the restaurant… and decided to try the Restaurant Week menu…. Started at the bar for a few martinis, which were perfect. The bartender is awesome! Dinner was served in courses and well timed… they were busy and it was all great. The Restaurant Week menu was so good. 4 courses and all delicious!! Generous portions ! I’ve loved this place always … but this was a fun twist . Thanks to all !!! Can’t wait to come back

I had the fried Calamari which was fresh and lightly fried It was very good. Minestrone soup was excellent. For entree I had the linguine in white clam sauce which is my go to. It was uniquely prepared and of the better ones I have had. My wife and son had the filet mignon and NY strip both were cooked as requested with good flavor. We shared the chocolate fudge cake for dessert which was huge and excellent. Food was reasonably priced. I would definitely go back again

First and foremost, THIS is what you look for in a true Chicago Italian restaurant. Vibes were on point and the wine selection is great. We had a wonderful experience with Cesar and the Mirabella staff is very attentive at every level. We ordered mussels as a starter which were absolutely amazing - very fresh ocean-y flavor, without the grit. We ordered the veal parm and squid ink seafood pasta. Both were perfect, no notes. We made a follow up reservation while dining to come back for dessert and cocktails!

My family and I visited this restaurant for Christmas Eve. This is a wonderful and authentic Italian dinner. The menu is extensive and classic. The Spaghetti and Meatballs was the BEST spaghetti I have ever had and I’ve been to Italy! The Christmas ambiance was wonderful and beautifully decorated. 10/10 recommend!

Cute restaurant and food was pretty good. Unfortunately our server seemed like he was in such a hurry. I felt like we had to talk to him as he was walking away to the next table. Also, I was disappointed to see an employee use the bathroom and then when we went in next, we noticed he didn’t flush the toilet. Makes me wonder if he washed hands.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. The food is wonderful despite it being very affordable. The wait-staff is attentive and very helpful, but not intrusive, so it's easy to relax and enjoy one of the best traditional Italian steakhouse meals that you could hope to have in the city, but they also have a diverse menu with a lot to choose from. I would recommend Mirabella to anyone who enjoys excellent, low-key dining.

Had a nice meal with friends at Mirabella on a Sunday night. One of us had been there before. We had white fish viscuvio, grilled salmon & chicken viscuvio. We all enjoyed our meals. However, the fish dishes were a bit overly oily. Also, the server was asked if they could swap out asparagus for a different vegetable because of a special diet issue one of us had with asparagus. He refused to do it & said we could order an additional big side order of broccoli or spinach, but he couldn't swap out the veggie for one of the dishes. Additionally, the side salad, which is included with the meal, was very sparse & mostly iceberg lettuce. This wasn't the case the last time one of us was here. It was a much nicer salad previously. These were disappointing & for these reasons, the rating wasn't as high as it could have been. Service otherwise was excellent.

My wife and I heard wonderful things about Mirabella, which we can affirm are true. Mirabella is a great restaurant that more people ought to know about. The wait staff brought us a dessert on the house for our 1 year anniversary. We really appreciated that.

Enjoy coming here for traditional Italian food. Staff is friendly and service is high quality. They made food accommodations and quickly responded to requests for refills, and the like. Several of us shared entrees and the waiter served each of us a portion at the table. You would have thought we were Frank Sinatra. Definitely coming back.

The food is VERY salty. We had veal parm (minimal sauce comes under the veal), chicken piccata (very odd pairing of red peppers on the chicken and sauce was thin) and chicken cacciatore (chicken was cooked well and was tender, lots of mushrooms but NO peppers and gravy was salty). The salads that were included with the meals were fresh and crisp. They bring the table a side of fried potatoes.
