Millie's is available as a full facility to rent on Monday evenings when we are normally closed for regular business. Additionally, the entire restaurant may be available on other nights with a rental fee. This type of rental requires more advance planning. Our restaurant is divided into two dining areas, and one side is particularly suited for handling semi-private parties on regular business evenings (and lunches) up to approximately 32 guests. Food was excellent. Went on a rainy Friday early afternoon, crowded but did make a reservation so was seated right away. Service was spotty. Food came quickly but ordering another round of drinks took longer than normal wait time. Overall great place after all these years.

A trip to Richmond, VA. is incomplete without stopping at Millies for breakfast/brunch. Recommend you make a reservation due to its popularity. The food is extraordinary & service is welcoming & personable. The atmosphere is eye catching & fittingly eclectic. We highly recommend taking time to enjoy everything Millies has to offer.

Millie's has an exceptional menu, but my only feedback would be the ability to request adjustments to menu items for people like me who cannot tolerate spicy foods. The menu specifically states that dishes cannot be altered, but I would love to try a couple of the dishes without, say, jalapeños or spicy sauce! Apart from that, I adore the seafood dishes, the atmosphere, and the expertise of the staff. Excellent place for brunch, and I'll continue to go back even if I can't have many of the menu items because I'm a wimp. :)

Food, service and price were great but the noise level was uncomfortable; very difficult to hear those in our booth. Lowering music volume would help; it was louder than the crowd noise, generating an upwardly spiraling din.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our brunch on Sunday. Excellent food and everything was as expected. The noise level was too high for conversation, though. Laughing patrons (always a welcomed sound!) reverberated within the room so that we did have a hard time being heard by each other. Eat outside or try the front room (v the "back" room). One of Richmond's Best!

Ugh. I wanted to like this place SO bad. The food was flavorless, the seat we got was probably the worst one in the restaurant…which was annoying because I made a reservation. There were people waiting for 20-30 minutes who got better seats than us. The waiter was ok. No one greeted us, I stated the occasion and it was like no one read the notes. On top of all of that, the food sucked!!!!! I heard so many great things but wow they overplayed it so bad.

Millie's was a favorite of ours when we lived in Richmond 25 years ago, and so it was a given that we would stop in during our visit back. Post-covid they are now breakfast-brunch-lunch only, but it was the same fun quirky atmosphere we remembered and our food was delicious. Server was prompt and friendly too. We would recommend it!

I don’t want to be too harsh. It was breakfast. But the potatoes were soggy and a bit oily. I know it was brunch but you all need to work on those potatoes. Our server was awesome. Loved the vibe. My husbands corn beef hash and it was soupy and too salty. Tried to love it but …

We had a wonderful brunch at Millie’s! The crab omelet was incredible, as was the eggs benedict! The pitcher of mimosas, while more expensive than other places, was enough to fill six glasses!

Pretty good food overall. Grits needed more flavoring- bland tasting. Veggie mess was wonderful & flavorful with the sriracha sauce. Potatoes were excellent- well flavored. Companion had a sandwich but didn’t enjoy the potatoes like I did. Too dark looking &over seasoned for their taste. Been here many times & always enjoyed the experience.

Way too expensive for egg dishes/frittata type of dishes... an adorable quaint place but for 3 persons to spend $75 for brunch - way too expensive... we each had an egg dish, one beer-mosa, a glass of water and a busky cider.
