   Our food and service were wonderful. We were two older couples in a mostly empty restaurant until a large family celebrating a birthday was seated adjacent to us when other options were available. Screaming babies marred the experience and the chance to visit and we provided feedback to the staff. The server apologized, the owner brought a dessert platter to the table, and we will return because of their response.

   We made a reservation for Mother’s Day lunch. The restaurant was not overcrowded but soon after we were seated-seeing the uncleared empty tables and people sitting without their food we should have realized there was an issue. It took us over an hour from when we ordered to get our food and the food was fine but nothing great. When. I inquired with a lady at the hostess stand/bar who appeared to be a manager about when our food would be out she said there was only one cook and we could leave if we needed to. Wow! So rude! I told her if we had known when we were ordering how long it would have taken we would have gone somewhere else and she said the wait staff was telling people. Ours did not. Rudeness along with very slow okay food-would t recommend it to anyone.

   We were traveling and I looked on OpenTable to see which restaurants looked interesting. I saw Meyhane and was intrigued about the Turkish/Greek cuisine. It turned out to be a great choice. Everything we ordered was great: hummus, fried oysters, an eggplant dish and baby lamb chops. All were prepared perfectly. We finished the meal by sharing a trio of baklava with ice cream. Exceptional. And our server did a great job.

   We dine here often and are never disappointed. The entire meal was great. Our entrees we very very very good and the lite salads accompanying them were equally delicious. This restaurant never fails.

    Food was good, service wasn’t, waited a long time, watched the owner fight with other guests about their late meal. We were going to order more food, but service never came and we eventually left cash on the table.. chef mix for 2 was very good

    It was valentine’s dinner night. They were crazy busy. It was worth the wait. you could not ask for nicer owners. They were working so hard to meet the crowds needs. Yes some people were impatient but it was their loss.

    Wonderful experience. The service was warm and attentive. The food was outstanding. The eggplant appetiser was amazing. The kafta (spelling?) entree was wonderful. Mom’s recipes are alive and well here. We can’t wait to return.

    First, there are ZERO lights in parking lot. We had a reservation but didn’t actually know if it was open until we got to door. Waiter was only waiter on floor and overwhelmed for the amount of business there. He did his best though and was great for what was going on. We ordered Kafteri (spicy feta) app and I have a nut allergy. Nuts were not notes on menu so when it came out with walnut garnish we asked if it could be made without that garnish and explained nut allergy. He took it back but then returned and said it was made with nuts throughout would we still like it? 😳 we declined and asked for hummus instead. Rest of food was good and waiter did his best. They got him help about an hour later but that person didn’t really help much (helped with ONE large party table) There was a manager there but he didn’t help at all. He once bought apps out but didn’t know where they went and was short and rude to the waiter because he didn’t stop helping a customer to tell him where they went. He didn’t bother to help bus one of about ten dirty tables or anything that would have actually be helpful in the situation.

    We have been to Meyhane numerous times with great pleasure. Our latest visit with another couple was most noteworthy. The starters and entrees were outstanding. The lamb diners were excellent. Can not say enough about this wonderful Turkish restaurant.
