   Our server was very rude and nonchalant. The chicken chicarrones were salty, took forever to get a water refill and the crab cake portion was small. Other than that, everything else was fine.

   Maximon has a beautiful interior design and layout. Our food, drinks and service were phenomenal. The menu was a great blend of traditional Latin food along with a Japanese fusion twist. The drinks were delicious and well crafted and the Tres Leches for dessert was the perfect way to cap off the night. We really enjoyed are dinner here and will be back again.

   I made reservations here for my husband to celebrate his birthday. The food was so delicious (adding grapes to the guacamole is brilliant, Yum!) and the ambience was so beautiful. The service was exceptional. We will be back!!

    I'll have to go back maybe to get a full experience. The internet was out so that affected the gas so there was no hot food. The staff was great and the location was awesome. Looks like it would be amazing in the spring/summer to eat outside.

    This restaurant was okay. Although the service was phenomenal, the food was underwhelming. The restaurant itself is akin to Red O and Javier’s on the west coast. However, the food is nowhere near that level of quality; is a lot of room for improvement with the food.

    Our appetizer of snapper was the smallest portion ever. And then we went for my boyfriend’s birthday and the waiter changed shifts and the guy never put our deserts in before he left.

    Food was very good. Server was disappointingly innattentive and not present. Rarely came by the table, missed opportunities for us to order more food and drinks and was happy to let us sit with dirty empty plates for far too long. Server also barely spoke English. Not easy to explain the menu or offer recommendations. Expect much better from Maximon.

    Maximon was everything we hoped for and more. It is a beautiful setting and the staff are exceptionally pleasant, friendly and accommodating. We were there for a birthday and this was the perfect place for a small group to celebrate together to share delightful eclectic food with something for everyone at a good pace. Though it is a busy place, we never felt rushed and had the exact amount of time to eat. We probably tried every dish on the menu, from the oysters to the tacos and beet salad and every thing was wonderfully seasoned, well proportioned and sufficient. I could have eaten both orders of guacamole myself if not encouraged to share.

    In the spirt of trying something new and giving Baltimore another chance to redeem itself, my partner and I visited this establishment for the first time. Parking was relatively easy to find. The ambiance of the hotel, and restaurant were spectacular! Our server José was excellent and provided us with great recommendations. We ordered mussels for appetizers and boy was it was seasoned well and made differently. We couldn’t help but notice how skimpy the mussels were though - I counted about 8-10 pieces in total. For entrees, we ordered tacos (4), Palomilla steak with a side of plantain fried rice. Each dish was exceptional in their own way and full of rich flavor that wakes the senses up. We finished our meal with spicy margaritas while enjoying the sounds from the live music band. 8/10 more mussels would be appreciated!

    This place is a little more expensive and upscale. We knew that going in and were expecting an amazing dining experience based off those two simple things. Unfortunately, our service was extreeeeemely slow. Our drinks arrived AFTER our appetizer, which was guacamole that was… average. For $19 we were expecting GREAT. We were so annoyed with how slow the service was and average the food was that we asked for the check after the app and spent our money elsewhere.

    This was one of my favorite dining experiences in recent memory. It can be costly to go out to eat but it immediately felt worth every penny just from the service alone. Every single person we interacted was friendly, attentive, genuine, and knowledgeable. I felt really welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork ribs and plantain fried rice, while my boyfriend had the tacos carne asada. The dishes are so flavorful and well balanced, and cooked to perfection. Our waiter mentioned that he felt he could recommend the entire menu and I wholeheartedly believe him. We also tried a cocktail, a slice of guava cheesecake, and churros which were all excellent compliments. The cocktail was absolutely worth the price in serving size and taste. Lastly, I really appreciated the beautiful atmosphere and the care that was put in to making it feel comfortable. The space is airy and open, the chairs are spacious and comfortable, and the coat check was much appreciated! Thank you for having us!

    Every aspect of dinner was excellent, including the cuisine, which included cicerones, waygu steak, lobster, and plantain fried rice. Our server and the manager kept in touch with us frequently, made food suggestions, and were quite knowledgeable about the tequila and everything on the menu. They catered to all of my dietary needs, and to top it all off, a live band was playing at 8 o'clock. Everything was sent extremely quickly, and I would definitely recommend it and return.

    portion sizes very small for the price. The waitress suggested that we order shareable plates. I wish she had just said our portions are very small so order a couple of different plates. For the price point, I wish the portion sizes have been larger. Other than that the food was fine and the restaurant was beautifully apportioned.

    Service was good. Tres leche was best part. Food was way overpriced and attempts to be unique missed the mark as food over seasoned and too many things infused. If serving expensive guacamole, it should be made fresh at table. Has a nice bar area but would probably not dine in main restaurant again.

    Our food was outstanding! Things got off to a very slow start but I believe it was because our server was new. However, Devin, the manager stepped right in and assisted and made sure we were good for the rest of the evening. I had the roasted chicken and it was soooo tasty, especially with this spicy sauce they have. I can't recall the name of it, but the sauce is an orange color. It went so well with the smoky mushrooms in the risotto. My friends and I had a superb time celebrating the new year and we look forward to returning.

    Expensive for a lunch. Wine choice was expensive, but no "house" wines. The guacamole was unique with grapes and apples and chunky avocado. The quesadilla with steak was nothing to write home about.

    First time visiting this restaurant. The service from the door was great. Had a great view overlooking the harbor. The vibe was great. The food was great. Would love to visit during the spring/summer months to sit outside by the water.
