We have eaten at MatchBox several times before, but this time the toppings on our pizzas were skimpy. My wife had almost no sausage on her make your own pizza and my mushroom pizza had five quarter-sized pieces of mushroom on six slices of pizza buried under lots of greens.

This is my second trial of Matchbox, and I think I have to admit this place is not for me. The qualty of food is similar to a fast food chain. Pizzas were very salty. Two crab cake platters had to go back after one bite. I have never had an eggy crab cake, with a thin layer of egg crust on top and at the bottom. It was dry and smelled of egg. It was really unpleasant. Pomegranate and orange sangria tasted like fruit juice with a slice of orange and a splash of wine. I would not recommend this place

This was probably our 12 visit to match box and they always have been consistent till yesterday Not sure if they have a new chef or new management but the burgers were raw that we ordered for our child, the server was very nice and said he will ask for another order, the problem the order was delayed more than half hour by the time we were ready to leave. We also ordered the salmon with the asparagus and rice, this was my favorite meal in March box but yesterday the salmon was dry the portion were smaller, the asparagus was over done. as for the pasta with chicken it was below average. as said this was my favorite to go place and now I am so disappointed.

Had dinner with friends. Food is tastes good and the portion sizes are large. I just wish they would be less expensive. We did enjoy the happy hour, which is a good deal. Robert, the bartender, is always nice.

Matchbox is our favorite restaurant in One Loudoun. The food and service is always excellent. Prices are mostly fair. Our only complaint is the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 6 0z. glass is priced at $19. We understand mark ups, but you can just about get the whole bottle for that price!

This was our second time eating at Matchbox. We didnt feel like cooking on NYE and so we made a reservation and headed to Matchbox. We sat upstairs and while we appreciate some nice ambiance, it was dark, almost too dark to read the menus. Our server was nice and cordial. Our dinners were good, but maybe not $130 good. We like the interior of Matchbox a lot and will probably come back and sit at the bar for drinks appetizers, no need for us to grab a table for dinner.

I’ve always loved the food at Matchbox One Loudoun but unfortunately tonight the restaurants attempt to double as a nightclub ruined our meal. They had a DJ set up in the bar but the club style music was intense through the entire first floor. My recommendation to future diners would be to call first to see if there will be a DJ especially if you want to hold a conversation with your friends or family. I would have never expected to encounter this at 7-9pm. I would have understood it more if I had decided to dine after 10pm. Our meal to celebrate our son and daughter in laws wedding anniversary was definitely disappointing. Food never disappoints but that wasn’t enough to save our meal.

Nice ambiance and great location. Old Bay wings were bland, we ended up leaving them. The Jumbo Shrimp had too much breading. The mini burgers were good, but they don't have regular mustard. The mojitos and beers are extra large.

I made a reservation and asked to be placed in a quiet location that would allow conversation-was initially seated In a crowded section by the entry to the room with both new customer and staff traffic. Next seated in a booth next to 4 young children in the same section. My companion had already arrived and was luckily seated in an adjoining room - without the reservation??

The area of the restaurant near the windows had a ridiculous number of flies flying all over the place and staff did not attempt to correct this problem. I brought it to the hostess attention, but she looked right through me with zero since of urgency or concern.

I have visited many times for brunch. This has to be the most unpleasant. The avocado toast was mediocre, not fresh with little seasoning. The eggs were not good. The bacon was soggy and had to ask for it to be crispy. The service was also not up to par.

Wow! Really, really expensive now. And, they are making the portions smaller. 3 tiny Tuna tartare tacos were $15 bucks. $300 bucks for 4 people with each having 2 drinks. My friend had ribs and they were terrible. Hardly any meat on them. Buyer beware!

There were flies around our indoor table and they landed on our food multiple times. Quite unpleasant. Was overcharged for a drink, 25% above the price in the menu. Food was good.

Had a wonderful experience there yesterday. Since the outside eating area was full we were given a table upstairs on the outside veranda. We were the only ones there and were given the Royal treatment. Will be returning. Thank you to the wonderful staff there and of course very good food

The pizzas have gotten smaller while their prices have gone up. Also they were not as spicy as they used to be (we ordered the Fire & Smoke). Otherwise it was good, we liked the service, the cleanliness, the ambience and everything.
