   Steak was more medium than medium rare. Didn't say anything because the steak was OK and too thin to cook medium rare. Server was competent. Music too loud. A very average restaurant overall.

   3 of 4 ordered salad and other order was ribs and fries Ribs and fries were cold Did not complain as I don’t know how good returns after being sent back? and also did not want to eat alone!

   Beautiful decor. They were able to accommodate my disabled wife very well. She can't have anyone touch her right side. They did sit us at a centre table that had foot traffic but it ended up not being an issue. Food was pretty good. We both thought the coleslaw sucked awfully but my fish and chips was great. Her rack of ribs was also great. Portions were really nice. We had the pork poutine for an app. Needs alot more pork and curds for $15 and i don't like pork rinds but over all it was good. Noise level was weird...music kept going low then loud and back again. That was annoying. Waitress forgot my gravy for my fries and I didn't remind her so that's that. Would I go back? Yes. Would I order the poutine. No. Fish and ribs? Yes. Skip the tartar sauce though. It tastes like mayo and relish. If you make it yourself use coleslaw dressing and relish. I know, I've been in the food business for 35 years lol If you want to a good meal at a good price, this is a decent place to go! Overall impression, good! Hope that helps.

   I've had chicken wings all across Canada. Without a doubt, the Match restaurant has the best. So, if you like chicken wings, that's the place to go. Also, I've had several other menu items that were equally good.

    Couldn't have picked a better place to guarantee a great meal and service for any occasion. Valentines dinner was amazing and enjoyed it with another couple who also were thrilled with their dinner.

    WOW, WOW, WOW! Ordered the Big Beef Dip Sandwich with Fries for the first time. The beef was piled high, carmelized onions & melted cheese added just the right touch. So tender. Bun was soft with a garlic butter flavour! So yummy! Definitely my new favourite! Our server Danielle H. was friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. Thank you Danielle for making our dinner extra special.

    Service was excellent. Restaurant was not too busy but filled with Christmas cheer. Ordered our favourite the Blackend Chicken Sandwich with fries. Portion size was good except for a few disappointments. Cheese on sandwich was cold not melted. A dusting of romaine. And I mean a dusting. The piece was the size of a teaspoon. The bun was cool, soft to the point of mushy & would hazard a guess that it was a hamburger bun. Fries were warm, mushy and no bigger than about 1/2 inch in length. Only 2 long fries on the top to conceal the rest. It was a disappointing meal. We have never had anything but a great meal. Should of sent it back but we had somewhere else to go. If it ever happens again, we will send the meal back.

    The Cajun spaghettini was excellent as was the appetizer, however the turkey dinner tasted like a turkey roll and the dressing was rock hard. Overall though the experience was positive. The waitress was polite and friendly and the environment was nice.

    The food was tasting delicious. Our appitizer was the nachos. Followed by our entrees. The only issue we had was that the our food overlapped which made us both feel rushed to try to finish the app and move on to the entree. We would prefer to finish one before getting the main. So we never finished the app. I don't think I should have to tell a server this.

    The service was very slow for a Monday night and it was not busy when we got there. Took 45 minutes to get our food, and they were not very proactive or observant with the refills. Portion size was smaller than usual on the steak dinner (1/2 the potatoes we normally get). The blackened chicken was sooo salty. They dry ribs were mediocre at best. It was a first visit for me but I will try again to see if it was just an off night. Overall feedback from the rest of my party was that usually it’s a super experience - I wasn’t overly taken by the experience.

    I like the mix of traditional meal choices with a little extra flair added. Really enjoyed my tuna basmati bowl!! Will definitely be back!

    The ribs have always been my favourite but on Friday, Nov. 11 at lunch time. They were tough and spicy. I was so disappointed. Your food is so unpredictable . Another one of my favourites is beef dip but sometimes the dip is awful and the beef dry. But 80% of the time good. Finally broke down and got the delicious Toffee Pudding. It was not the same at all. I love the atmosphere but the if food makes me reluctant to eat at the match. Hope yo7 fix the problems.

    The chicken wings were excellent. Not over cooked as you will find in many places today. Some restaurants say that they over cook so as to be sure it's not under cooked with regard to chicken. I call B.S. on that.

    This place has a wide variety of dishes to offer. Our meals came to the table hot and well prepared visually and culinary. The restaurant looks out over the racetrack and with a patio there, makes a great place to go for lunch.
