Justin is an amazing manager. Extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Jadyn was a great waitress and very attentive. The service overall was wonderful. The food was delicious. We've dined at Mare before and will be back soon. Thank you.

This is the 2nd time that I've had dinner at Mare Rooftop and this time the service and food was much better than the last. We were quite pleased with all the dishes that our group ordered --- from the calamari & octopus appetizers to the pizza and the shrimp & scallop dinner. The cocktails were good, but the gin selection (our go to beverage) was a bit weak and a bit over-priced. The vibe and view is fantastic. We will be back.

The atmosphere, service and drinks were outstanding. Apps were ok. Nichole was very attentive and helpful. The food was all undercooked (medium steaks were rare and the veggies were raw. The flavor was lacking. For the price the food should be high end which it wasn't. I would go back for drinks & apps only.

To begin with, we waited 30” for our drink orders to be filled (bartender problem) and were considering leaving for another restaurant. Then my Bloody Mary came and it was the worst one I’ve ever had, watery, no vodka oomph, tasteless. Very disappointing. Then my Octopus salad came, and all was forgiven. It was the best I’ve ever had on 2 Continents! Then my Funghi and sausage pizza arrived, and it was so good I was making plans for my next time here! The Apple caramel cheesecake was superb for dessert! A rough start, but a Fine ending.

Took our daughter for dinner on 10/8 for a 530 reservation. Immediately greeted and seated to our table w a window view. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable as I was concerned about too much garlic on a special they had that evening. Good energy by all wait staff and manager was present in a good way. Started w bread basket w. a refill and a gentle pour of olive oil w parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes and the other side of the dish olive oil only, I liked that because I didn't need the pepper flakes but my husband and daughter enjoyed it! We ordered steak frites, Rigatoni Bolognese and Caesar salad w a delicious almost air fried textured Salmon. We had a bottle of Chianti and a pumpkin beer for my husband followed by a shared creme brûlée for dessert. Never felt rushed and the following guests filled in but never too loud . Would definitely dine at Mare Rooftop again!

Very enjoyable - lovely location and the food was really good. Didn’t sit outside as the weather had turned colder but they do offer tables with an enclosed table top fire that should offer warmth. Food was not groundbreaking but executed well. Had grilled octopus salad - the leaves and dressing were a touch bitter but the octopus was grilled to perfection (a little bit of char + soft and meaty). The caprese salad did not include basil (weirdly - cilantro instead I think) but the mozzarella and tomatoes were excellent. And the pizza was also extremely good - Neapolitan-style was a very flavorful crust and light chewiness. Cocktails were great too!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a great dinner here. This was our second visit to Mare, and it didn't disappoint. We arrived early and sat at the bar for a drink. Cocktails were excellent and the bartender was helpful. We enjoyed the Mussel's app to start. My wife had the Salmon, and I had the Sirloin, both were amazing.

Nice server! Fun place. Pizza was delicious but my husband ordered the shrimp and scallops dish at the recommendation of our server. It was the size of a small appetizer. There were 2 shrimp and 2 scallops. He was still hungry after spending $40 on the dish. It should have either been less expensive or a larger portion.

The polenta and pork Ravi were a little salty. The smashed basil drink was lacking in basil. The tuna was excellent as was the salad I had. Server Meghan was outstanding. We will go again.

Mare rooftop was the perfect place to celebrate. My family and I had an amazing time . The food and the view was breathtaking. Carly our server was also amazing, she was on top of everything and made our night even more special with a complementary cake , she even sang Happy Birthday for us . Mare is the place to go .

First time visiting this restaurant. Easy to find. Easy parking. Lovely facility with a contemporary flair. Seated quickly & waitress arrived to introduce herself & was wondering if we would be enjoying a cocktail. We did. Lovely offering of creative cocktails. We were a party of 3. Steak frites, sirloin & salmon. All meals cooked perfectly & beautifully presented. Our only disappointment was the weather. Rain was in the air & the outdoor seating was not available. Cannot wait to visit & enjoy more of what they have to offer.

They sat us in front of the AC blowing we asked to be moved than moved us to a table in front of the A/C had to go see the hostess took forever to get as Sat at another place We go there a lot but yesterday turned me the wrong way Fyi the place was empty when we got there
