We were there on Sunday for a Birthday lunch. The food is always good, in a lovely setting. Really good kids menu as well. The team are soo friendly and highly professional in a very relaxed manner. Always a very pleasant dining experience. Joe

Fabulous Saturday night dinner at MPW Courtyard in Donnybrook. Starters of dressed crab and burrato. Fillet steaks were cooked to perfection with peppercorn sauce, delicious chips and creamed spinach. The chocolate mousse with orange dessert was stunning. The service was fantastic. The South African chardonnay was lovely. The pianist/ singer sang the fitting ‘Summer in Dublin’ on a balmy night during an heatwave in September and the personalized note by the boss himself (who was dining in the house) was a lovely touch.

Beautiful experience celebrating our Son's Graduation from UCD. The early bird menu was excellent. The food and wine was delicious. I had Shrimp cocktail for starter, Steak for mains, Eton mess for dessert, all delicious. Other family members had the Caesar Salad or Salmon for starters, Cod for mains and the Sticky toffee pudding for dessert. We shared extra sides of onion rings and creamy spinach, our family was very happy, no complaints at all. The staff were so friendly, professional and attentive at all times. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great evening.

Awful experience seated next to a birthday with a lot of noisy kids that never stopped moving and shouting. Light above table broken so could not read menu or see food properly. Extremely noisy alarm went off for ages that staff struggled to stop it was deafening. Will not be returning and we always preferred here to Dawson street

The latest of many visits to MPW Courtyard, and definitely not the last! The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the ambience is wonderful and the food was fabulous. Can't wait for my next visit.

We were looking forward to our lunch , and we are always very happy and impressed with the Dawson St restaurant. I have to say though that it was an odd experience. There was no atmosphere, the music was too loud , our waitress was inexperienced and everything felt awkward . We didn’t really feel that we were in a Marco Pierre restaurant at all . The food was tasty and delicious , but we did not feel that we would want to repeat the experience and would only consider dining at the Dawson St restaurant. Such a shame . Also one of the cubicles in the ladies toilet was so tight in dimension, my mother got stuck and was unable to open the door . She is a size 8 and it seemed ridiculous! The deco also seemed dated and a bit tatty

I wanted to take my partner to one of my favourite restaurants. I go with family a few times a year. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. After 25 minutes no one had come to our table to fill our glasses with water as they had done for the table beside us. It was evident that we were waiting to order as the menus were still on the table. We tried to get the attention of staff to no avail, they served other guests and laid tables. We left after 26 mins having not had 1 person come to our table, a very disappointing experience.

First time at courtyard.. weather wasn’t great so might have been nice to be asked if we still prefer outside as tables available inside heater should have already been on for our table maybe ask if they could take my coat didn’t feel like we offered possible suggestions drinks maybe meal food is amazing but some personal touch would be good at this level.. some breads with starters or some olives be nice as pick while waiting.. I asked for gin and bitter lemon and was given gin and tonic.. that’s not hard to mess up

This was our second time to marcos in Donnybrook and it keeps getting better. Lovely food, knowledgeable and friendly staff and great atmosphere. We had a great time and will be back again soon.

For a vegetarian I had stayed away from Marco’s but missed it. Went there last night and was blown away. Excellent food and service. Very professional friendly staff serving excellent food. Can’t wait to return

Lovely ambience, very good service. Beautiful surroundings. Both had steaks, very good meat. Done slightly more than we asked for, but I've had steak here before and it has been absolutely fantastic, so don't let that put you off. Great sauces to accompany. €150 for 2 mains, 2 deserts and three drinks, inc. tip. Dublin has gone too expensive, not the restaurants' fault. One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Well worth a visit.

Great meal, much prefer Donnybrook to Marco’s place on Dawson Street. Our waitress was fantastic, clearly under pressure on a very busy night where I suspect they were short staffed but she was attentive, friendly and made sure we were well looked after without being intrusive. Food was fab, no complaints for any of us and great atmosphere..

Not as good as it was before- food was not nice- my seabass was not fresh and overcooked, my baby potatoes were rock hard/ undercooked, gnocci were tasteless and terrible altogether. Everything was covered in too much butter/ oil , I mean A LOT of butter/ oil. Service was not great either. Not impressed

My mum wife kids and myself had a lovely evening in the courtyard with memories going way back before it was Marco Pierre Whites and it did not disappoint. Such a nice venue, the atmosphere was fantastic, food was first rate and the staff where extremely attentive. We will be back very soon.
