   Staff was excellent along with the food. Really nice looking interior. Everything was great! Only minor concern was the reluctance of the wait staff to bring more of the bonchon until the dish was empty, resulting in some waits for the server to bring more.

   The food was ok and affordable. The service was terrible. My food burned the first time because the staff left it on high heat and didn’t come back to check on me so I just cooked it myself. Never coming back.

   I’ve been here on weekends (10/10 amazing) but I went on a weekday this time. It was so understaffed it took an hour to get water to the table… the table next to us just getting food looked like they’d been there for a year so we left. I’ll be back just on the weekend… if weekdays are hard to staff change the business model, let the customers cook, have them get drinks from the bar themselves, ect. This is the best kbbq I’ve had anywhere in the US so go on a weekend, totally worth it!

   Mama Neem (sp?) cooked for us and the meats were so good. Better quality than some of the popular Korea BBQ houses in NYC. Will definitely come back!

    3/4 of the restaurant was empty, and we had to wait 10 minutes for them to “clean a table.” The bartender was confused when we said we were waiting, and thankfully she managed to get the hostess to give us one of the tons of empty tables. Even though the place remained 1/4 full, we waited at the table for 20 minutes for a server to finally come to us. Brisket was grisly, waitress could barely hear us, because of how loud the music was. Ambience was nice, shame the service was really terrible there

    The food was very good but the service was a bit all over the place. We’re used to cooking for ourselves at the table grill at Korean bbq restaurants and found ourselves constantly looking around to find someone to cook more meat.

    We have been here a few times now and all were very good experience! The meat is very high quality and amazing! Especially the ribeye! They do cook for you and everything is always cooked to perfection! Their house infused Soju are amazing as well!

    The food was good and the server was great when he was around. But most of the time he wasn’t around and we were constantly having to flag people down to cook the meat and bring out all of our dishes. Overall it was a disappointing experience and we won’t be back.

    Waited a few months to eat here and was not disappointed! Came during lunch time on Sunday and it wasn’t crowded: a few families and a birthday party. Large and spacious, lots of light. Server was very attentive. We had questions about the libations and received samples from the bar! Food was very tasty (we got the combo A, bulgogi tteokbokki, and cold noodles…there were no leftovers). Loved that vent was super strong, we didn’t have any kbbq smell on us when we left!

    We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my son at Mapo last night. It's owned by a mother-son team. The wait staff was friendly and helpful - they cook your meat for you - and did a great job explaining all the little condiments on the table. At one point, the mom owner came over to cook a couple courses for us, and she was so nice to our family and my son. She came back later with a birthday card for my son, signed by the staff. Food was terrific. Great place, great people.

    THIS IS THE COOLEST SPOT EVER!!! Customer service is TOP NOTCH!! Thank you so much to ALL the amazing staff who work here. And Mama Ann you are THE BOMB! Such a sweet soul!! Thanks for taking me to Korea! This was an experience that I truly will cherish. Food was amazing, flavors were powerful, and the options seemed endless. Party in my mouth is an understatement!     It was so much fun! The restaurant is beautiful and has a great ambiance. The staff were all super kind and made sure to provide great service. The owners were very kind as well and made sure we had an incredible night. The food was amazing. Every dish was delicious and the dessert was super fun. Overall I would go again.

    Wonderul dinner. Wait staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were short staffed, but made up for it with their hustle and overall personality. Food was delicious and “Ma” the owner, was out our table helping grill the meat table side. A Wonderul time with the family and would recommend to anyone in the area.

    Victor is the main reason I will come back over and over! He goes above and beyond to make your experience great and is so personable. We originally had another waitress and he ended up taking over for us and was amazing. This is my second time to have him as my waiter and I hope I get him every time!
